Another Day

"How long am I to wait? You said there would be someone."
If having a literal second soul in your body wasn't enough to make you crawl in your skin, imagine that deep, guttural voice in the back of your head taunting and berating you every other second. Griselda was fine having her second half make the shots sometimes, but constantly asking the equivalent of 'are we there yet' every so often was irritating. Up atop a rooftop herself, this is what the emerald-eyed earthling dealt with today. Staking out this half of the cityscape with packed lunch and a tablet. Having something this power-crazed in your head can drive boredom a surprising amount.

"You seemed so interested in the last few people you slaughtered though. You said it yourself that I was terrible at picking out worthy opponents. This was your idea."
Though the two can have internal banter, Griselda still finds it a hard habit to keep up sometimes. Luckily, they were pretty well concealed from anyone not searching up at the top, so a young woman talking to herself aloud wasn't the thing that would be seen today. Her sarcastic chiding would get a loud growl from Usumi however. He'd almost use his time up right then and there to go off on her own, but he had to be patient with when he decided to take control. Something did pique his interest enough to distract. A power that traveled very quickly down below. Rather rambunctious an energy too. She could hear those sirens nearby too.

"That's out in the open though. I told you about this-"
That little body of her stiffens for a moment before shifting in tone. Silver hair flashing in the high winds on the rooftops to turn to a solid black while she blinked and let emerald eyes give way to a sheen of red. Her arms from the elbows down were suddenly coated in black, hard skin. Fingers sharp as steel blades. Usumi had suddenly gained control, ditching her current stakeout here and hopping to a closer rooftop. Letting the hanging sun in the sky cover most of her movement from those directly below her. She was very quiet in her jumping, considering the other noises causing commotion below.

"Oh, you won't have to worry about that. I'll get my chance. Even if I have to follow this one back somewhere."

It wouldn't take too long for the law enforcement to take those the strange power had stopped into custody. But that was entirely too long for a certain demon. Studios red eyes peeking down below and tracking that bit of movement. Trying to pry mannerisms and the like from a distance and unusual angles was rough. Those claws just idly tapping the edge of the rooftop's work. She half expected the giant lady to go flying off the same as she did.

Lucky for them, this Suki instead chose to take a route away from prying eyes. Usumi knew this was the perfect opportunity he had been waiting for today. Tracking this big lass was pretty easy from atop roofs, slowly gliding over them as she silently watched the bored hero of the day take a leisure walk through the alleyway and up on a small lot. The demon was sure they felt kids playing in this area before they stumbled upon it. They played what was called 'ball'.

What a perfect idea. As that ball would bounce and roll away from where Azuki had swished it, a sudden foot seems to stop it in its place. The demon appears from what looks like the shadows of the building behind the court. Having just teleported her figure in front of the other in order to make a scene.

"Hey there. Want to 'play ball?'"
The voice didn't suit the dwarf that contained it. A raspy, low tone that tried too hard. 4'6" of skirt and claw, though unable to be mistaken as a child from the way she acted and dressed. One of those clawed hands snatches up that pitiful ball under her foot as she bends over for it. Just palming it in her hand a moment before squeezing. It didn't take much for it to pop, violently. And unlike a normal basketball deflating this went out like a grenade, small pieces of rubber and fiber sent across the court as this little gremlin just smiles. Sharp teeth on display.

"Whoops. That's okay. I prefer a different sort of challenge anyways. You fit the bill."
She was obviously hostile, seeming to not care that this strong woman outsized her in the slightest.

Those blood-red eyes narrowed in on the big lass talking. The giant just seeming annoyed by her entrance. Maybe a bit confused as well. The reaction was intentional though. The demon liked some riled-up opponent. Maybe for a good test of might between peers. While, back in his time, he remembers the daily challenges to his rightful throne back home from gremlins far more aggressive and vile than she. The woman just chuckles and flashes the other clawed hand. Raising both up and tapping the fingers together to bring out an irritating sound. Like fingers on a chalkboard.

"Oh ho ho! I like your attitude, girl. Make sure it's not wasted talking yourself up. I'd hate to put down an opponent so quickly."
She seems unphased by the rise in strength exuded by the muscular, pale humanoid. No, it got her riled up. The small frame shivering a bit before lunging suddenly up at the amalgamation. Claws bore and aimed at her eyes as she went straight to blind the girl. Her hops were pretty incredible, pretty much leaping up to height while swiping down at the same time at both sides of her face. Land or not, the little gremlin would then try vaulting completely over her. Trying to avoid immediate retaliation by extending her jump and pushing her hands off Suki's head.

She wanted blood on those claws, so she was ready to attack again once she landed, if she landed. Turning back at her and not letting her advantage go to waste.

Usumi could feel that sudden change in power shifting beneath her as she jumped. Her hand tightening in a rough fist before jerking it in the air. A sword seemingly pulled from a quickly vanishing portal as it would be forced to interpose itself between the short stack and the saiyan-looking Suki's empowered jab. It's long blade harmlessly bouncing off the thrown strike as she continually tried clearing the girl's reach. being so big though, even getting behind her wasn't enough to keep out of that grasp.

The demon wasn't able to bat away the hand with full leverage as she recovered, feeling her small neck grabbed and body tossed with force enough to knock brick loose behind her. The demoness hissed and then laughed as she pulled herself from the wall, giggling to herself for a moment before sizing up the competition again. Her free hand dusting off a bit of rubble from her shoulder before gripping the katana by two hands. Keeping it's end pointed towards her.

"Ooooh! This will be fun! You're a sturdy target!"
Usumi went and jumped at the girl in much the same manner, this time brandishing a long sword that she swept with both hands. Attacking much earlier in her hop while keeping a distinct distance between Suki and herself. She didn't want to be grappled again, that was apparent.

Well, if Suki had any good gauge on sensing ki, she could feel this blade. No, really. There was a residual part of Griselda in there in some form. It would explain its perfect sheen and cutting edge. Most people know a soul can't be cut so easily, and it is surprisingly a hardy material. And she would get to see that as the swing came in at her face; Well, not quite at her face.

Usumi had to switch it up a bit when they realized small needle prick attacks were headed their way. Turning the wide swing of a purple-ki-infused strike into yet another deflection of attack. Swiping a few times with the blade in front of her to deflect the incoming needles with her blade. It shouldn't have been much of a surprise. Bullets were probably in the same category of cool samurai things to deflect, so the technique was similar. Her hop would end with her crouched down low in front of Suki.

"Down low!"
He declared before maneuvering and trying to attack the shins with that elongated blade. Putting some down tilt pressure on the large lass. Landing these were less a point to deal damage and more to see what Suki would do. Gauging their reaction to a lower attack with a few non-commital swipes.

That was all in good fun. Griselda only laughing upon realizing the larger saiyan-lite was taking her high five jokes with them when they danced around each other's moves. Even laughing a bit as the burly gal drove her down into the ground like a hammer striking a nail. Face-first into the pavement. It became muffled laughing as demoness could sense that stomp coming at her from a mile away. The small woman decided to roll on out from her crater, barreling several times before hopping back suddenly to her feet. The sword was used temporarily as support with its point in the ground while she picked herself up.

"You've got an arm on you. Have a name, mortal?"
The being amused them enough to warrant grabbing a name from them. The more to carve into their tombstone as the lazing demon suddenly whipped the sword back from its rest in an upward strike. Meaning to hit the woman's inner thigh while she gets it proper back in her hands. Ready to strike again when the big one moved. She had a few ideas now on how the saiyan was going to be dealt with.

Usumi was going to quickly realize he was on the backfoot with that simple assault. Those red eyes darting when it realized the sheer amount of power being coursed through those arms. One of her hands slips off the handle to quickly conjure up the sword's sheath, her entire body trying to backpedal away from the large woman while she put the sword away and charged her own strike. She was far too quick to get a proper amount of purple energy collected on its edge though. Trying to strike at the woman's hand with the draw of the blade would only result in the blade bouncing off harmlessly. Soon she knew, the small demon had her leg grabbed.

"Get o-"
The poor woman would be thrashed about. Feeling every bone and muscle in her body forcibly shoved around and bruised at multiple points with each hit. Her body was absolutely flailed about like a ragdoll. The raw hits make her cough up blood and yell in pain at every other or so slam, finally feeling a crackling pressure in her entire back when she's thrown one more time into the wall. her entire body put into it's brickwork while Usumidori spits some more. That poor dress she has on too is scuffed about and ripped in multiple spots, not to mention the several bruises, cuts, and dislocated arm.

"... Hah..."
The small woman's body tensed and shifted in her embedded tomb, squirming to free herself from it with grit teeth and hissing. Eventually dropping to a knee when the wall no longer supported her. She had to take a breather after that one.
