Enforced Evolution [CLOSED]

Rosemary enters with 64,380 PL and her Dark Nimbus.

Something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong.

Rosemary paced back and forth across her throne room, drowning in the cacophony of experts and military generals arguing over the news they had received, and the distress call they had intercepted. Hatchi City was under attack, but that was nothing too distressing on its own. These things happened, and now, it was her duty to decide what to do about it. However, what troubled her so was the information they had managed to gather already. It was no pirate or mercenary that had attacked the capital city of their rivals for dominance over Plant...

It was Virus. The very monster who had declared war on herself and her people was now attacking the Tuffle directly, and her stomach churned at the only reason why that dared to come to mind.

"Quiet!" As the queen commanded, so did her subjects obey. The room fell silent following her terrifying outburst, except for the rhythmic clacking of her boots upon the stone floor. Even with the silence she'd desired, her anger only built and grew beyond the confines of her ability to suppress it. Just the thought that Virus had done this... It could not stand! "What are the readings from our long range scouters?"

"Uh... Fifty thousand, ma'am, with room for error up to five thousand. The scouters weren't designed for that kind of dista-" He was silenced by a gesture from the queen, whose tail was now thrashing in anger at how the monster had grown so powerful. If only she had destroyed him on that day, reduced him to nothing but ash that couldn't possibly have recovered from her attack. She was kicking herself for being so weak that something as simple as regrowing a head had made her hesitate.

"Inform the captains that Virus has been located. I want the capital on high alert, and all soldiers with a battle power of fifty thousand and above to head towards Hatchi City. We can't afford to let that thing get any stronger than it is now. It dies today." Rosemary damn near growled her commands, and smoke poured from her mouth with every syllable. As she began to be engulfed by her own magic, the men and women of her court scrambled to carry out their orders, and the void swallowed her...

Moments later, the sounds of chaos and the smell of blood hit her senses like a wild Oozaru. As smoke poured into the street from the corners of the world itself, Rosemary stepped out in all her glory. Dressed in a form fitting red battle armor with gold accents, long red cape hanging from one shoulder, golden bands around her biceps and thigh, and bearing the crown of her rule atop her head, her eyes glowing with a deeply sinister red bore down on the monstrous figure of her hatred. Briefly, her attention shifted between Virus and the Saiyan who stood up to him, and her amusement twisted her lips into a smirk.

Yes, she felt quite proud that one of her own people had already stepped up to stop this creature.

"Virus!" As she spoke with a loudly booming voice, her anger and hatred for the creature reached out to its very mind and grasped at its sanity like cold claws that sought to rend it apart piece by bloody piece. "You dare to show yourself now?" Her tail lashed at the air behind her, and with seemingly no effort at all, she swung down the heavy, black iron club in her hand and smashed the ground underneath her feet. The tremors might have been felt for several blocks; a simple threat to show her intentions towards the bug.

The queen remained silent as the creature taunted her. Her anger festered, like a disease that grew and grew and ate away at any sense of reasonable action she might have felt. Her attention fell to the young Saiyan who demanded she let her have this fight, but she was hardly feeling generous as the creature reminded her of how it had grown so powerful in such a short span of time. Then, its power doubled...

And, it fell into a very familiar fighting stance. Her heart skipped a beat, and she grit her teeth as a low growl built in the back of her throat. Her tail lashed again, and a single, long breath filled the air around her with a sickly dark smoke. A deep and sinister glow came to life within her eyes, quickly consuming them in whole as if the hybrid's body had been taken by the Oozaru itself.

"If it were anything else, I would let you have your fight." Rosemary addressed the Saiyan girl's demand, invading her mind with all her anger and resentment she felt towards both Virus and herself. However, she didn't move, even as the creature rocketed towards her with newfound speed. Her hand tightened its grip on her weapon, and she raised the other...

The air and ground shook with a massive, repetitive thumping; like the beating heart of a great monster whose power was too much for its body to contain. Virus' knee had landed squarely in the queen's palm, but she still had barely reacted. Instead, she simply squeezed, and felt flesh and bone bend like soft stone underneath her fingers. Then more hands appeared from the smoke, all reaching and grasping for the creature that had earned her ire so effectively. More and more and ever more of the hybrid's hands reached for their own piece of the creature, to hold it in place and make sure that it could not escape.

Still, those eyes stared at Virus with their menacing glow. The queen scowled at the object of her sheer, abject hatred. Without a word, she allowed the creature a moment to process what was happening. She wanted it to know, to feel, and most importantly, to be afraid. She squeezed a little harder, searching for that telltale pop, and then...

Then, she began to pull.

From every direction, she pulled.

Harder and harder, she pulled.

There was no flash of light. There was no catchy name shouted to the sky. There was no pomp and circumstance or even gravitas given to the situation. This was a monster who threatened her people. This was a monster who had challenged her. This was nothing but an insignificant insect, one which would learn just exactly where it fell on the food chain.

"Let's see just how much you can heal from." She smiled, baring her rows of inhumanly sharp teeth as a monstrous and maniacal cackle began to spill out telepathically into the minds of anyone and everyone within the city.

Rosemary activates Makyo Mastery to rise to the Makyoozaru's (x5) power without physically transforming. She uses Dark Manus to conjure more arms with which to restrain Virus. She retaliates with Dark Pummel (128,760 PL). 107,520 PL in overflow damage is directed at Virus!

The queen's mad, telepathic cackle only continued to grow in intensity as the creature fought its way free in its pitiful state. Bits and pieces of its carapace remained in her grasp; the puzzle that had been abandoned that belonged in its broken and incomplete form. The scent of its blood filled her senses and wafted on her tongue, and had the creature been any sort of threat to her, she might have thought it tasted like victory. Now, however, it was merely the taste of a weakling she was to put out of its misery.

"Is that all your powers can handle?" Rosemary smiled wide as her many hands crushed what remained of Virus' carapace between them, and even the dust was consumed by her otherworldly magic. "You regrew a whole damn head before with ease, so I thought you must be something near immortal! To see you can't even heal yourself completely now... I'm disappointed, Virus. It's almost like I'd given you more credit than you deserved, and never had anything to worry about in the first place." She turned his taunts right back against him, even as his blood acted with a mind of its own and attacked the Tuffle who had arrived to defend themselves at long last.

Although not near as pronounced as her anger when the creature had admitted to devouring her Saiyan people to grow in strength, her subtle reaction to this new act of petty maliciousness still remained. Her eye twitched as she watched the Tuffle soldiers fall, relieved of their heads and let to stain the ground with their blood. Her tail flicked, but she did not attack just yet. Instead, the girl had chosen to take the initiative this round, and was assailing Virus with her own blasts of energy.

In that chaos of energy blasts and retaliation, the queen's figure simply vanished from sight. The rhythmic beating of her colossal heart ceased to drum against the ear. However, the smoke she had already conjured remained. Though the hands that had emerged from it had disappeared along with the body, a very bright and potent energy shone through from within.

Then the power ball lifted into the sky above, and the queen's massive roar shattered the windows of nearby buildings. The air grew thick and deadly, like trying to breathe it alone was poisonous. More smoke poured in from the corners of the city, surrounding the trio as though to cut off the creature's attempts to escape. Then the monster finally appeared, in all its horrific glory, beginning with the massive boot that stomped and sought to pin Virus to the floor with its sheer weight. Like a mirage coming into view, the queen's body materialized on top of the creature which had sought her ire, and the twisted maw of the Makyoozaru stretched itself into a terrible grin.

Poor Virus.

Her voice pervaded the creature's mind without sound.

You were never a threat to me. You can't even heal yourself now. All you are is another stain underneath my boot.

Rosemary roared as her mad cackling began anew in the minds of those present, and slowly put more weight on top of the creature which had so wrongly assumed itself more important than it truly was.

Rosemary assumes the proper form of her Makyoozaru! She attacks Virus with a Great Pummel (64,380 PL) refluffed as a stomp!
