What Does History Mean To A Shinjin?

Kamae had been busy in his efforts, setting up the possible chance to become president. He worked hard to get into the Arcosian empire, to meet new people and to grow his own strength. He was relatively unknown to the rest of the world besides his moniker "loki" which had fit in quite well. He was feeding information that was about earth to Odin, learning what he could and keeping tabs on things. He was beginning to learn about a crime syndicate that had shown up recently named the dirty snakes and had learned they were in hiding. 

But more than that, he had met Flamel as well, and was beginning to understand what he had signed up for. It was a group effort to grow rather than an organization that sought domination. They were an effort to work together and that much was enough for Kamae. As he walked through the side door of the temple, Kamae yawned as he entered the main room. He was working tirelessly, and even if he couldn't actually get sleepy, it was a habit he had never gotten read of. His thoughts of work having an unconscious effect to make him feel tired even if he was physically or rather... spiritually unable.

"Crow what are you doing out here in the middle of no where?"

Kamae asked, making his way toward the shinjin, lazily and aloof as he usually did. The last time the shinjin had met him, Kamae looked like a faceless ghost, but with his newest magic he had put on a mask of sorts to blend in. 

"Shouldn't you be out... I don't know, slaying mortals?"

It was a half hearted joke, but one that simply asked why he was in the middle of no where with no one around. Kamae had come seeking him out to tell him what he had been up to that was productive. Yet he had found the Shinjin sitting... er meditating in the middle of this abandoned temple? Kamae hadn't met anyone on the way in so he assumed it was.

"Anyways I got a status report, and I need to tell you whats going on so we don't step on each others toes."

Kamae stated, stopping a few yards from Crow as he looked out the front door at the icy fields in the distance. He fucking hated the ice, and really didn't like places like this. It held no miracles of science like forests or water. It just... was. A frozen barren shit hole with the OCCASIONAL frozen dead thing. Ice was the worst thing ever... 

Kamae watched as the other approached, revealing their real name to the demon for the first time. Not surprising given Lord Mori versus the name Flamel. He had also acquired a codename thanks to his efforts in the field, and as such was glad they had names separate from everything. If it came down to it now, he was certain that he could keep his real name a secret from the world just a little bit longer. The demons eyes returned to the area out in the field then.

"So I met this Flamel, or Lord Mori as you call him. He and I got along fine. But the important bit is this. I've gotten in with the Arcosian Empire, not going to reveal details cuz if you run into them and let slip by accident I work for em... all my works up in smoke."

Kamae stated, rubbing the back of his neck, best to avoid mentioning employers and things of the such. After all, he was certain this was going to go well if he could keep things under control as it was now.

"I go by the codename Loki now, but the next thing is... Don't mention my name period to anyone. I'm doing the same to you, unless its someone I know for a fact is apart of our little group."

With that Kamae would hold up his hand and snap his fingers, his Chameleon spell suddenly switching his clothing though his facial features remained the same. He now wore a black hat with a long black jacket. The black vest with matching tie highlighting the white dress shirt underneath. His green hair now visible out from under his hat while he closed his eyes into a squint. He wore dress pants, neatly steamed and twin brown leather belts alongside a silver chain that held a pocket watch on the end. His brown shoes having metal pieces on the toes and heels.

"I'll be running for presidency soon enough... I'll need you to keep your... activities away from me at all costs as Crow..."

Kamae stated, looking at Kowlin with a straight face, tipping his hat at the man. He felt good wearing refined clothing again, after all it had been ages since he got to dress nicely... even if it was just an illusion.

"If I can manage this... we will have connections in the Empire on Arcose... and be able to move more freely on earth. I just need you to NOT spoil any of this understand? I've got a lot riding on the line since we last talked... So don't go ruining this for me..."

Kamae's eyes opened then, flashing green with a sinister air, but he quickly closed them once more before snapping his fingers to go back to his previous appearance. The yellow jacket hood covering his body once more. He doubted he would have problems with the Shinjin but Flamel was absent to relay messages through, and they lacked a meeting spot that can be dedicated to them.

"Not that I suspect you'd do anything to undermine me... but I just want it to be clear on what I am up to... and that I am to not exist... at.... ALL.... Unless its directly related to our group... and make sure everyone gets the message seeing you meet Flamel and... whoever else we have, out in the field."

Kamae was to busy to keep track of everyone, he was focusing on tracking Mint and Fend mostly. Not including his studies of human culture and the legal system tied to their government. It was a pain trying to get this all sorted and he was frustrated. He didn't want problems to arise from their own group... and he didn't want them getting in his way. He was committed to working with people, but only if they didn't undermine his own operations.

"The Arcosian empire is snooping around Plant, wanting to decide who to side with. Azoth is their emperor... he is a good man so don't expect any sort of favors with him. I've learned of Rime, though vague details at best. He works for them as well, and I think he is information gathering or some such... Mint is a criminal syndicate boss... If you ever meet Azoth OR Mint... Neither of them are to know I exist. If you give them ANY hints, my ties with them are cut... I need absolute radio silence when it comes to the Arcosian empire...."

With that out of the way, Kamae leaned to his other foot then, sighing heavily as he thought about the work a head. He needed to figure out how to get the Arcosians involved in the war on plant sooner... he wanted them tied up there so he could work his magic on their world...

"Anything I should know about you Kowlin? Perhaps you wish for me to remain silent about your name and any plans I should avoid?"

He was offering the courtesy to ask about Kowlin's plans... and as long as they didn't interrupt his own or destroy his cover, he was willing to help. But given the nature of how this people were constantly seeking to kill each other... he doubted he could do much. His power was limited in convincing anyone to do anything as of right now.

Kamae looked to the shinjin as he spoke, warning him of the arcosians and the power they wielded. An appreciated warning to say the least, as he knew only that they were strong. He didn't know for sure how strong they were, but he supposed that was a good enough warning. The demon returned his gaze to the outside as he let his thoughts roam. He had dealings with them, but he needed to find a measure of truth to lure the Arcosians here. He needed to find a way to make them WANT to invade earth, to cause a war... but that was going to be difficult. Perhaps he could hire some mercenaries to attack this planet, and lure the good emperor here to "contain" this world?

"Yea... appreciate the warning. I heard they were insanely strong, so much so that many avoid them. I just need to be careful in my dealings..."

Kamae's eyes half lidded as he thought about the future, the work a head of him. First he needed to apply for presidency, get a hold of the arcosian emperor, become friends or at least offer a profitable trade... then he needed a way to fake an invasion of enemies... Even if he couldn't become president, he could find a way to get the empire to invade... he just needed to find a way to move the right pieces.

"Given they are focused so heavily on the planet known as Plant, I am able to move pretty freely until they lose interest. Azoth has a strong arm about him, and many supporters... but they can't track a demon who can teleport. It will be hard for them to pin down my travels and report back to their master. I am well aware that if I am not careful, I'll be crushed by their powers... at least until I can retrieve my body. If I get my body back, no force in the universe will be able to stop me."

Kamae stated, rubbing his neck and rolling his head on his shoulders to stretch. He needed to find a way to synchronize with the Sankishin so he could get back into his body. He also needed to retrieve it from the vault.

"But with presidency, I'll be able to pull the empire here and hopefully... if things go well, prey on their good will. Yet there are a lot of loose ends running around. A girl named Fend, becareful of her as well. She wields a blade known as Palibur, its a blade of light. It can shed my Sankishin from me and prevent me from using my strength. I don't know what it can do to you, but it can sense darkness in ones heart and warn her. She is also strong."

Kamae stated, finishing his stretch and looking down at his watch to check the time.

"Well I've got a meeting to attend too... Anything else you want to tell me? I assume we have got more members than just Flamel, me and you? Anyone I should seek out to know better?"

Kamae asked, waiting patiently to see what the shinjin had to say. Surely just the three of them was enough, but never hurt to be informed..

Kamae was surprised by the description of the two other members. He had actually met them before, and to think they were apart of the group! He placed a hand to his chin while he considered how lucky... or perhaps fate did guide his hand. That thought pissed him off thinking fate guided his hand, as he didn't like thinking something could take credit for his power and plans. But regardless, he would shrug it off before looking to the shinjin and nodding.

"Aye, that weapon is a pain in the ass but once I am whole again it won't poise a problem for me anymore."

Kamae stated looking back to the frozen wasteland, thinking of the future before walking toward the exit. The demon putting his hands in his pockets as he ran over the appearance of the two. Celeste and Katsu huh? He would need to speak with them again in order to get to know them better... perhaps they could aid him given they were humans? yes... he could use them effectively if they were willing to cooperate with his plans. He needed to find them first though and it was a big world... Perhaps he would stumble upon them again some time.
