GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Cassie
ALIASES:
AGE: 3 days
GENDER: Female?
SPECIES: Biodroid (DNA Profile: Partially custom-made, includes too many species to count. Unlike the mishmash of species felt in a typical Bio-Android's energy signature, Cassie's signature only feels like one individual. But as a quirk of so many species making up parts of her DNA, to Ki Sensing techniques her energy feels oddly plain, not giving off the "tells" that make one species identifiable from another.)

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: In her current form Cassie appears to be nothing more than a football-sized (a soccer ball for the Americans) white blob with minimalistic facial features.
Despite lacking limbs Cassie has little issue with movement, if not crawling she'll either bounce or roll around, occasionally using ki for quick bursts in speed. Cassie's skin also has a rubberlike quality to it that makes her remarkably resistant to damage.
Due to issues finding a compatible mix of DNA, Cassie's blood ended having to become copper based and thus appears blue.
BACKGROUND: Cassie's first memory was waking up somewhere hard, dark and cold- this didn't bother her nearly as much as the layer of slime covering her body. It was uncomfortable, and her first instinct was to shake it off, which she then did.
However she paused when she heard a sudden strange noise. She snapped to attention immediately and her eyes shot open, allowing her to spot a big brightly coloured thing that was moving around and making noises. Whatever it was, this new thing made her very excited, the sliminess from before forgotten about as her attention was grabbed by something new.
With the desire to investigate whatever was in front of her growing she began to bounce in place, eliciting even more noises from it. This was all too exciting for her, she had to investigate right now. Before she knew it, and definitely before they knew it Cassie released a burst of energy, propelling her straight into the figure-in-front-of-her's chest and knocking both of them down.
With her new viewpoint on the floor, Cassie now spied a lot of other parts of the room to explore, there were many big, dark blocky shapes and tubes and Cassie was going to touch all of them. After many minutes spent bouncing on and prodding several devices, breaking a few in the process, and dodging the outstretched hands of the person after they recovered from the blow Cassie dealt she was finally worn out. Feeling so tired all of a sudden Cassie decided to halt her adventure for now and take a rest, promptly passing out under one of the big devices she'd managed to topple.
When she woke up she was somewhere new, somewhere brighter and comfier than the before but strangely despite her nap she still felt too tired to muster up the energy to want to explore it. To make things worse there also was an uncomfortable feeling inside her that told her she needed something. With these combined putting her in a bit of mood she was content to stay put.
After a while she became aware someone else was now in the room, but as long as she didn't feel so good she didn't wasn't interested in what they were doing, so she continued to huddle inside whatever comfy thing she was placed in. But then the figure came right up to her, leaned down and held something in her face. If it was right in front of her she guessed she could look at it, Cassie shuffled herself forward a little and gave it a cursory sniff, her interest was immediately piqued, it smelled good! That was what she exactly what needed right now! Almost instantly she felt some of her energy come back as she practically inhaled whatever it was out of the figure's hand.
The little blob was already out of what was containing her before and sniffing around and nudging the person for more food. It hadn't escaped her notice they looked like the moving figure she saw in the first room, jumping on them before let her see all of that other room, and now giving her things she liked? They were great! What else would happen with them around? More things were produced to eagerly consumed by her at a rapid pace. Eventually though to Cassie's confusion the flow of food was stopped, and despite doing her best to get under their feet and put their attention back on her they left and closed the exit behind them.
She was immensely troubled by seeing them leave, bouncing against the door a few times to no avail. Were they coming back? She was still hungry! If they didn't who would feed her and show her new things? Cassie had to get them back right that instant, or she'd be hungry and bored forever!
With newfound determination to escape this room Cassie started examining things around her more closely; she couldn't think of anything in here that would help until she spied what looked like a hole in the wall. Being so small she couldn't spy much of what was through said hole unless she jumped but it looked promising- if that person wasn't in the room and that was a way out then she'd see them again in no time! It looked like just a hole but by experimentation, which was composed of her first two attempts where she bounced off the glass, there was some see-through stuff preventing her escape. That would have been a big problem if she wasn't smart enough to realise there was a little space at the top that she might be able to squeeze through.
Taking her chances she'd managed to leap up with enough force to wedge herself in the top window before wriggling through and plopping down on the grass outside. And wow, there were so many noises, smells and new things to look at, if she wanted to find that nice person again she better get going!
BACKGROUND PART 2 - Creator's Perspective: Roger Pecan was a bit of an outcast in his community. After all, doing things like creating flytraps large enough to eat birds and fingers as it turned out and accidentally turning the street's water supply to slime for a week would do that. Whatever he did, he was never going to quite shake the reputation of being a mad scientist. He didn't mind the moniker itself but it tended to drive people away and spending years with minimal human contact tended to drive the best of people to loneliness.
But there was something he could do to fix that, with his previous experience in modifying organisms maybe he could create something new? An assistant or pet perhaps, something with the capacity to think, grow and maybe even teach a few things. Admittedly he could have gotten a dog or something to fill that void, especially since his experiments rarely went well, but it wouldn't be quite as special as something made by his hands.
It took a while, months of finding the right genetic material and tinkering with his vision of what he wanted this thing to be. He knew he wanted them to be smart, have the capacity to learn and grow, but what if he took it a step further and over time they could change physically as well as mentally to better adapt to the environment they'd be living in? Even if that environment would mostly be his home and in the laboratory set up in his garage, why would he want to unnecessarily stifle their potential?
He might have been getting ahead of himself with what he wanted out of this, but over time he became quite attached to the thing he watched growing in a test tube, so much that he'd even come up with a name for her. "Cassie" was starting to feel like a child to him.
On finally being released Cassie hadn't been quite what he expected, much more energetic and plenty stronger than he initially thought. She'd managed to make quite a mess of his equipment and inadvertently bruise a rib or two of his before finally wearing herself out, quite a hassle really, and as soon as she passed out he hastily scooped her up into a blanket and moved her to a room she couldn't do quite as much damage too.
That could have been a warning she might be more trouble than she was worth but Pecan wouldn't give up on her for doing something any baby might do, he was certain there was no malicious intent behind her destructiveness, only curiosity and behaviours he'd have to train her out of.
Cassie had slept through the night undisturbed, giving him time to rest and plan his next course of action. Based on his predictions she should be very hungry by the time she woke up, food shouldn't be a problem, he'd designed her to safely digest theoretically anything she'd be able to fit in her mouth, regardless if it was food or something else she picked up while he wasn't looking. The problem was, would she be interested in what he could scrounge up?
He'd brought into the room several items of food Cassie might want, to his concern it didn't look like she'd moved out from her makeshift bed yet, but with how quickly she perked up after getting a whiff of the hotdog he held out for her, it seemed she was just a late riser. The few items of food he brought in went remarkably quickly after Cassie was fully awake, she practically inhaled everything he had to offer after no more than a quick sniff. But she still wasn't satisfied, continuing to nudge and bump into him up until he managed to slip outside for a quick break and to figure out exactly what else he could find lying around that he could use to satiate the little rascal's hunger.
Roger made a quick sweep through his kitchen, filling his arms with as many cans, cereal, and other miscellaneous items as he could possibly carry. He must've been gone for less than ten minutes but the room seemed much quieter than he left it before. Carefully opening the door just in case Cassie decided to make a run for it, he was concerned to see there appeared to be no sign of her. He turned the room upside-down looking for her, but eventually he had to face the possibility she'd escaped somehow. And in a place as big as South City, there was no telling where she'd end up.

Light Attack || Pow!ADDITIONAL NOTES: Going without a Sparking tech and would like also her starting transformation to not be listed as I plan to obtain both at a later date.
Cassie expels some energy, propelling herself forward to slam herself into an opponent at high speeds.
Power: 20%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Light Defence || Zoom!
Cassie releases a burst of energy to propel herself out of the way of an oncoming attack.
Power: 60%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: Evasive
Medium Defence || Whatever you can do
With whatever means she has available Cassie will try to replicate an incoming attack. Should the two techniques collide without her defence breaking this is flavoured as them being evenly matched in power and as a result both cancel out.
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants:
Utility Technique || Unlimited Potential
Over the course of each stage of Cassie's life her body records information on the experiences she goes through that is used to influence the direction of her next transformation. These experiences could be anything from the environment/weather to how she is treated by others to her diet.
An example of how this could influence a future form is if Cassie spent a long amount of time in a cold region her next form would likely gain some means of coping with low temperatures, like possessing fur or having feet more adapted to walking in snow. Another possibility is developing some form of armour after taking a lot of hits.
Each transformation also builds off the previous one, so if Cassie ended up developing bird-like traits in one form the next one couldn't be completely aquatic, but the features of the previous form would develop further upon evolution to accommodate the new adaptations.
Utility Technique || Metabolic Regulation
Cassie possesses an unnaturally high metabolism that requires her to consume huge amounts of food to keep her energy levels high. However in the case food isn't available/Cassie overexerts herself, in order to compensate her body lowers by slowing down certain functions until the energy can be recovered. This effectively lowers her energy output at the cost of making her more lethargic than usual.
As Cassie matures and reaches higher forms this form of regulation becomes less necessary these later stages are more refined and don't burn through energy as fast. As this occurs Cassie will likely also gain conscious control of this process and be able to lower energy output at will without suffering from the same level of lethargy of the uncontrolled version.
