GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Flamel
ALIAS: 'Lord over Death' to his inner circle, but he doesn't use it himself
AGE: 2,169 (Alchemically extended, but he is NOT ageless)
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Alien (Terran)
>> MY FINAL FORM: While in your strongest available form, you may activate 10% MP Power Boosts on all of your Attack Techniques for free. This halts your momentum regeneration for that turn. However, you may not use any Power or Ki Boosts on defensive techniques with your MP in your strongest available form.
>> FASTEST IN THE UNIVERSE: You can use a free 30% evasive defense technique twice per thread. These cannot have their power boosted in any way.
>> GALAXY BRAIN: You may use multiple Offensive techniques in a single post, to a maximum three techniques. This is once per thread, and is only usable on Standard Techniques
GENERAL TRAITS -
>> ANTISENSE: Your ki is invisible to energy sensing and scouters, even in the midst of combat - this can be toggled on and off. In addition, escape techniques have a boost of +20% to their total effectiveness and your first escape technique per thread costs no KP.
>> AVENGER: Once per thread, upon the defeat of an ally, you regain all your momentum. For your next three posts, all momentum effects are boosted as follows:
Power Boost - Additional +10%
Transformation Boost - Gain an additional +x1 per 150k base PL, starting at 0. Caps at +x3.
Ki Boost - Subtract an additional -1 KP from cost.
STARTING PLANET: Plant
HOME REGION: None
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Like any Terran, Flamel shares an inexplicable similarity to human-type Earthlings on a purely cosmetic level. Alone he is fairly plain, with tanned skin, black hair and eyes, and an average build. Of course he nowadays hardly spends even a microsecond separated from his armor and weapon, and by extension the gemstones that took him so many years to perfect.
His armor is separated into smooth segments made of a glossy black material with no frills or decoration - simply mere utility. A dark purple cloth underlines the sections in which chinks inevitably form. Different parts of the set each house a uniquely colored gem or pair of gems which are inlaid beneath the armor itself despite appearing visible from the outside. Blue in the chest, orangish-yellow in the gauntlets, Green in the boots, Red in his warhammer, and White in his helmet.
BACKGROUND: Flamel has lived a long life, and the majority of it has been spent in an exile of toil and failed experiments. Born a peasant boy in the overcrowded slums of Planter Terra, it didn't take long for him to become entirely disillusioned with standard technology and corporations as a whole that dominated his home. If destiny had its way he would die young on that overcrowded planet, another nameless faceless body to add as a tally in the population count. But early on he took an interest in scarce stories of the arcane. Of power beyond what science could understand, of gods and demons, of magical processes that could not only extend one's pitiful life but grant immeasurable power. Certainly a story that would call to an impoverished, bitter alien.
Of course, it was all thought to only be that by most - a story. Magic certainly wasn't real. Those tales were just fantasies for the downtrodden to indulge in for brief moments of escapism. Yet a single written page bought with street change off an uncaring vendor and cast in red ink described a process most heinous. Take the life of another above a ritual circle and be rewarded. With chalk and oiled wicks setting up an ominous site was easy enough, and baiting a drunken homeless man to his impending death wasn't hard either. A promise of a bottle had led the victim into the trap, and with little hesitation, Flamel spilled his blood onto the scribbled pavement. While nothing happened at first, Flamel never felt even a flicker of doubt, confident that this would be real.
And it was. The corpse and blood were wiped away within the confines of the circle, wicks blown out by an unfelt wind as all that was left behind was a single tiny gemstone. While unimpressive, Flamel had it fenced (and was fleeced for the price along the way) - yet still had his hands on more money than he'd ever collectively held in his entire life. Had he desired Flamel could've escaped Terra for good and went to live a normal quiet life among the masses of the stars. But he didn't. Desperation morphed into a dark desire. Surely if this simple ritual had worked, the rest of alchemy must be fact over fiction as well? Years of low-brow, discreet murders and incantations in slums can only get an aspiring alchemist so far. Flamel had become secretly rich and imbued himself with an unnatural vigor not befitting of a seemingly gaunt Terran such as himself, but he was growing bored with such paltry things. He wanted more. Actual power. To become someone strong enough to wipe away swathes of civilization with a thought. It would be the ultimate revenge in his mind, a fitting advancement for gutter trash left to die as a nobody.
Finally, he absconded from Terra and went into deep space, pouring over scrolls and texts of procedures that promised power. Power condensed in the form of near-indestructible gemstones tied to the creator that allowed a once powerless being to rapidly ascend in strength. The only problem is it required a monastic lifestyle of constant isolation and dedication to the formation of each gem, away from the masses. One would think hundreds of years of near-total isolation would drive a man to insanity... and perhaps it did. Little would know what came from his research except for the creation of his "Dark Matter" armor and matching gems. The one interloper who did stumble upon his work, a haughty Shinjin by the name of Kowlin, was quickly subdued and bent to his will as a puppet.
Flamel has little time for gods or devils, only pure results.
MACGUFFINS -
Mobius Star: An energy core of alchemical origins which serves as a replacement 'heart' for Flamel. It is essentially a self-sustaining battery with zero energy loss and is capable of passively recharging. By perfecting its design and capacity over time, Flamel plans to use it to fuel his mystical Gemstones of Power.
Χ Gem: Otherwise known as the Chi Gem. This focuses on the manipulation of Ki energy as Flamel is naturally inept at it. This allows for powers such as sensing the Ki of others and more notably empowering the rest of his Stones with an augment. It is located in the chest plate.
λ Gem: Otherwise known as the Gravity Gem. This stone can exert a distant force of multiple types upon objects and bend the effects of gravity itself for its' wielder. Most useful for movement and clever combat techniques. A split pair is located in the gauntlets.
Σ Gem: Otherwise known as the Vortex Gem. It is capable of exerting a 'dilation' effect of sorts. While not quite time manipulation, Flamel can (with great difficulty if met with resistance) change the perceived and actual speeds of things around him. Useful for long-distance travel and dodging attacks. A split pair are located in the boots.
Ψ Gem: Otherwise known as the Infernal Gem. It is capable of turning fuel directly into raw, dark power in the form of blackish white flames. Most commonly used as a standard offensive tool in combat. It is located within Flamel's warhammer.
ξ Gem: Otherwise known as the Matter Gem. It can flip-flop certain types of matter into dark matter and vice versa, allowing for a simulacrum of creation & destruction magics alike. It is located in the helmet.
COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES: You start with Three Standard Technique Slots and One Sparking Slot that you can use any way you like. Some species start out with additional slots, or access to certain slot-based abilities for free. You also start with two additional Utility Technique Slots.
STARTING LOADOUT: 15,000 XP -> PL
AIEN FORMS -
Ein (x4): The budding form of Flamel's experimental Mobius Star. It's power is dim in comparison to the galaxy's greatest and the Gemstones of Power have only the slightest reaction, but it's enough for now.

-
You may opt to increase all techniques by 10%. This will drain Momentum at a cost of 1 per turn and prevents you from using evasive techniques, escapes, and blocking escapes. You will be unable to gain any momentum during this effect. If you run out of MP while using MAX Power, you lose its effects immediately and can not gain any MP on your next turn. You may only deactivate MAX Power at the conclusion of your turn. You will still lose MP for the turn you turned it off on.
Heavy Offensive Sparking || Omega Darkflare
Flamel draws upon a huge reserve of power within his Star, combining the effects of the Ψ-Ω Gems to create a technique of pure, widespread destruction. Dark arrow-headed streaks of lethal unstable matter rain down upon the battlefield without discretion.
Power: 90%
KP Cost: 6 KP / 5 MP
Variants: Quake, Splitting+
Utility Technique || Chi Sensing
Flamel channels the Ki-linked Chi Gem to visibly 'see' the energy and power of living beings.
Utility Technique || λΣ Flight
Flamel combines self gravity manipulation with the at-will propulsion of the Vortex Gem to simulate flight as many others can already do.
