Durability - Once per thread, after all other damage reductions, reduce an incoming attack's power by an additional 40%.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
BACKGROUND: Glacier was born in the Kold Kontinent of Arcose 25 years ago. At the time of his birth; his family was of some incredible prominence on the planet of Arcose. So much so that his father held the ear of the Emperor. It was a disappointing thing to learn then, that Glacier was born incapable of hearing at all. It's unclear what happened to cause this, but his power hungry father considered it an embarrassing shame. No sooner was he born than he would have been slain were it not for the fact that he presented a rare opportunity as a guinea pig. Glacier was claimed to have died at birth and he was forced to spend 21 years, more than his entire childhood in a facility in the Bitter Poles. There his father used him as a way to test new equipment and serums as well as explore the possible methods of curing his deafness. His days were spent being a living experiment and his nights combat and image training to keep his mind and natural battle power from waning in isolation. The experiments would end in failure when his father did what most high ranking Arcosians do eventually and die under mysterious circumstances. The facility collapsed any remaining family went into hiding and Glacier found no one was stopping him from leaving.
Now free to pursue his own life, Glacier joined the emperor's army; spending the last 3 years as an up and coming soldier and forging for himself a life beyond the ones others have chosen for him. Though at first small time, he would do well as a soldier. In the 3 years he began to develop and refine his own ability and in the heat of battle he would eventually develop techniques to help mitigate his own weaknesses. Among them the ability to communicate Telepathically; this was the ability that launched him into minor prominence as he effectively became an instant communications relay that couldn't be shut down as long as he focused. An entire corps could be organized through him from low orbit. Glacier spent 3 years as the Emperor's loyal soldier before said Emperor would disappear. When he did, Glacier took a leave of absence; he would not serve an Emperor he doesn't believe in and would not be a weapon for a regime he doesn't agree with. He is currently waiting to see who will win before he decides on a course of action. In the meantime he roams the universe eventually landing on Earth where his story will start

Having spent so long in other's minds, Glacier knows how to strike directly at them. Glacier focuses his ki into the black plate on his chest and releases a beam of psychic energy at an enemy. This burst of negative psychic shatters an opponent's mind resulting in serious physical and mental damage.

The answer to being born deaf; Glacier spent years developing his ability to hear others and eventually speak back to them. He honed this ability in his 3 years of war till he could eventually speak to people all across the battle field.
