BACKGROUND:
South City may be renowned the world over for its community, culture, and cuisine, but that doesn't mean the city doesn't have a darker side. One summer, a roaming hoverbike gang tried to move in on one of the City's more developed urban districts. In doing so, they not only ruffled the feathers of both the existing organized crime in the area, but the area's residents themselves. Though it was only a matter of time before the city's authorities stepped in to restore order, one young martial artist took it upon himself to try to save his community from the sudden surge of lawlessness. That martial artist was a seven year old Kohi.
Kohi's upbringing was rather unremarkable. He came from a loving family, but one which was always concerned by the distractions of the city. Rather than send him to conventional public school, they instead sent him to study in a monastery on one of the Southern Tropics' lesser-populated islands. The monastery provided everything a young scholar could hope for: a curriculum of arts, humanities and science, spiritual guidance, and a healthy dose of martial arts. Although the monastery had produced several capable fighters in the past, they could offer no silver bullet for gaining strength -- and by the time Kohi decided to face down the hoverbike gangs, he was still decidedly green. His training had made him stronger, but not strong enough.
He managed to knock a few of the hoodlums off of their bikes, and disarm a couple more. But by the time their enforcers brought their weapons to bear, his fight was a lost cause. It was only some sense of criminal honour that kept the bikers from doing him any serious harm after his guard was broken. Still, the defeat was a severe humiliation for Kohi, and it led to a rather sudden change in his demeanor. Even though he was an average, mild-mannered student in previous years, he returned to the monastery that fall with a sense of renewed, even unhealthy determination. His academics began to slip, but his grasp over martial arts improved at an astounding rate.
That defeat in South City helped to solidify two things in Kohi's mind: first, the overriding importance of personal strength. Second, the importance of authority and order. The two were intertwined. By the time he was a teenager, he had taken it upon himself to combat bandits in Earth's lawless regions, his new mastery of his monastery's martial arts putting him at a distinct advantage over most he encountered. But while some labelled him as a hero, the cracks were starting to show even then. He was distinctly unconcerned with protecting people or communities, the motive that had led him to stand up to the bikers all those years ago -- instead, he wanted to create order, and to punish those he viewed as the guilty.
Kohi has remained driven by those two interlocking principles, to the point that they have long since overwritten any of the spirituality his monastery attempted to impart upon him. But his efforts rarely yielded results, no matter how much more powerful he became. His attention has begun to shift away from taming the bandit-infested wilderness or gang-controlled city streets. Instead, he has started to look toward a larger goal -- bringing the Earth itself to heel, so that its citizens can finally establish the order he believes they so desperately need.
If he needs to look to the stars for allies to do that, then so be it.

COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES:
Light Attack || Red CrushADDITIONAL NOTES: Would like my first transformation to be called Abyssal Might.
Kohi manifests his ki in the form of a crimson red sphere. Its intense glow radiates and coats the surrounding area in red light. The simplest of his monastery's techniques, it is thrown at the opponent where it explodes on impact.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: None
Medium Attack || Crushing Tide
Kohi creates two spheres, similar to the Red Crush ability. Rather than fire either of them, he brings them together before him and fires them at once, their energy exploding in the form of a brilliant red beam of energy.
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: None
Light Defense || Kiai Keshi
Kohi creates a shockwave using air currents, aimed towards an oncoming attack. This can shed some of the energy off of an attack, or even dissipate it entirely.
Power: 40%
KP Cost: 2 KP
Variants: None
Heavy Sparking || MAX Power Bakuharamune
Kohi brings his hands together and begins to channel a massive amount of ki between them. Though the energy shares the crimson tone of many of his other techniques, the sheer amount concentrated of it causes it to crackle as the ki barely remains bound. He then thrusts both hands forward and releases it in a powerful beam attack.
Power: 150%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: Overflowing
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP use.
Utility Technique || Four Witches
You grow two additional arms on your back for even better grappling and punching power! This technique is passive and does not require KP.
Support Technique || MAX Power (Turtle School)
You may opt to increase all techniques by 10%.This will drain Momentum at a cost of 1 per turnand prevents you from using evasive techniques, escapes, and blocking escapes. You will be unable to gain any momentum during this effect. If you run out of MP while using MAX Power, you lose its effects immediately and can not gain any MP on your next turn. You may only deactivate MAX Power at the conclusion of your turn.You will still lose MP for the turn you turned it off on.
