The New Ruler - Invited Mint

About that time Yangcong had recognize such a familiar face and it was Mint of course.  He would stare at the man and start to chuckle like a clown would with their annoyed laughter.  His voice on the other hand was a high pitch voice that would annoy anyone who wasn't a kid. 
 
"The Names Jester, but most people call me chuckles because of my comedic humor!"

He would grab the free water that was on the table and splash it over his own face. 

"TA DA! Did ya like it?!"

Yangcong was now all soak and wet. Sensing Mint's power level to be close to that of his own. 

"I can tell you are a bit strong ya self and dat eye patch ya got there! Are ye a pirate? Argh mate!"

The chuckling wouldn't stop as he banged his closed bone fist against the table in a rude manner that would add to how funny he found the situation to be. 

"I am ruler of the underworld, I am Jester the common! That is my title and creed. YUP!"

He nodded a few times before twiddling with his own fingers just to add to his crazy like nature. 

He'd chuckle yet again as he mentioned if he was the grim reaper. He'd stare at the man before folding his hands together.

"Tell me, do you have any enemies that you want to get rid of?"

He would casually lean back in his booth. Taking in the scenery as he saw random folks just idly playing pool at the corner of the bar. The waitress bringing food to other guest. The bartender cleaning glass cups with a rag. He'd look at the man with a slight smirk.

"We all have enemies in this world and even allies. When I heard about the events on what happened to this Capital City, I was shocked. To think a madman tuffle was behind all of it and now this city has someone on the throne. One of the heros who stopped that madman."

He'd chuckle even more and shook his head. 

"Seems like other events involving the arcosians as well. Emperor Azoth that killed that old General guy. Such a shame that over the years, it's the old people of this world that tend to do evil deeds. We have to look out for the newer generation coming in. We have to make sure that they are safe in this world."

Trying to gauge Mint’s placement on the planet was a small fraction to the overall scheme. If they were still somewhat allies then perhaps the game of cat and mouse could end shortly. Yangcong would put his hood on and his skeleton hand against his face. Placing it back down to his side the waitress would come by asking the both of them if they wanted to order something. Yangcong looking to her and smiling.

“I will take ya cheese burger and ya fries.”

After Mint would be done with his order and the waitress went about her business he would speak again.

“Of course I eat. We demon skeletons survive off food as well. I wanted to ask you this. If you hand a chance to be on the throne for arcosians would you take it if you had help defeating Azoth? From what I have heard, he wants to take care of General Hibernal’s adoptive daughter Ise. If she grows any stronger, then any claim for the throne will be that much harder. You are a business man from what I have heard and not exactly a legal one. You don’t have to run the casinos anymore, you can run the whole planet with help from a friend.”

He would fold his hands together as he stared at the arcosian.

The man wondered how he knew so much and Yangcong just let out a sly smirk.

“Follow me.”

He vanished from his position, now appearing on a high vantage point building and reverting back to his form of being Yangcong again and ditching the voice but keeping his changed ki signature from drawing any unwanted attention. As he stood on the rooftop of this building, he kept his hands in his robe pockets as he leaned against the wall and awaited for the arcosian to follow suit.

“I heard the tale of what had happened in regards to Azoth becoming emperor. You can take the throne if you wanted to. You don’t need to be the man in the middle like how you were with General Hibernal and Azoth. You just waiting on the sidelines to see who would rule. Now that he rules, you are again following behind him. I know Azoth to be a good man from appearances alone and the way he acts.

I am in a group known as the Dirty Snakes. Powerful warriors from all walks of life. I believe Azoth’s goal is to rid anyone who has done wrong in his eyes.

The assault that I did to this city could be seen as evil. But with the war still ongoing after 60 years of nothing being done about it, what else can an old fossil do? People will call me a war criminal, but war is all I have known since I was a child.

Azoth wants to get rid of me because of that, along with aiding a Saiyan child in trying to get her on the throne. All I ever wanted was peace to be made. But there nearly impossible with the Demon Queen. She has the ability to turn saiyans into their oozaru states. Heck she did the most damage to this city with that alone.

Of course I am no saint, but I also am not a man who has the ability to control people using demonic magic. I am willing to have an alliance with you. I can aid you in killing Azoth, and you can aid me in my war in killing the Queen. You may not want to get rid of Azoth, but one day he may put an end to your career if he sees you doing anything that he doesn’t agree with.”

Yangcong simply staring into the arcosian’s eye.

“As much as I would love to stretch my old bones and fight you. I have never gone all out in a fight and if I did, you wouldn’t be standing here once it was over with.”

Yangcong had tossed the robe to the side and immediately showed his bare chest and black pants. Now his monkey transformation had shown without any power increase at all. This was a monkey state that he was able to achieve with the help from his demonic powers. He continued to stand firm and folded his arms across his chest.

“You can report me to Azoth if you want, heck you can even tell the Queen that I am still alive. But criminals like us, we don’t get a second chance at redemption when people have founded us out on our evil operations. You may not trust me and just see me as a weasel trying to trick the next man.”

He would briefly walk over to Mint as he pulled out his tablet and showed him the screen.

“These are the official numbers of many outpost still being attacked and reported while I was away.”

He would scroll back to the events before his attack. The numbers were relatively the same.

“We are fighting a war out here. Something that you planet have never known before. As much as people would like to call me a villain. I have helped millions of people, the population of the Saiyan army during my service as their spy.

Many will never understand what a spy must do to help their army. We aren’t the frontline soldiers, we risk our own lives entering enemy territory in hopes we don’t get caught and killed.”

He would swipe his tablet once again, showing the amount of Saiyan missions he has gone. Based on the report, it’s in the thousands.

“I have never failed a mission as a spy, but as a person who fights the frontlines I have. I’m no saint and won’t ever claim to be. The world won’t miss me and many will be glad when I’m gone from this world.”

A tear escaped his eyelid.

“I’m trying to stop a war that’s been going on since I have been a child. Peace can’t be established through talking with the saiyans. And even now with a demonic Queen that can brainwash the saiyans to do her bidding since I have witness it myself. It makes it that much harder for the peace to happen.

General Hibernal, was known to be a one man army and dangerous during his glory days. I don’t want my planet to suffer the same fate. I would gladly give my life if it meant peace for this planet.”

The last thing that he would show him was a picture of himself and his wife and son before their demise.

“This was a future I wanted. It was stolen from me and even though I can’t get that back. I hope to give others that opportunity even if I have to die in this war.”

"If that's what it takes then I will see it through then."

Yangcong would give him his new frequency on his scouter so that they could contact one another.

"I have also given you destron gas in the past to aid you in your endeavors. Have you had the chance of using them yet?"

Whether he did or didn't use it didn't matter to Yangcong that much since he would begin to walk away from Mint after he had responded to the question. With a slight raised arm towards the sky and looking over his shoulder, he smirked with a slight chuckle. 

"Making a friendship with me is eternal. You won't ever be betrayed by me."

A strong gust of wind had blown against Yangcong and finally, he vanished with the scattered leaves brushing forward and against the ground. Yangcong had headed to his nearby cave home and decided to take a nap after a long days work. He looked over his picture of his wife and son as he smiled just looking at it. 

"I'd be a different person if I didn't lose the both of you."

He closed his eyes as the burnt scar across his face was the motivation for him fighting a war that he knew that he could lose some day.
