How many months has it been since the Namekian warlord felt the wind of Namek wisp across his face? Travelling to Earth with Nasu was not the first time he had left his home, but it was the only time he felt forced out. The first instance he went gallivanting across the galaxy was in search of allies to aid in his plans of conquest, but with the Saiyan it was different. Though it would appear to have been a rescue, from the eyes of the Namekian he felt like little more than a hostage. Never had he felt so powerless before; never again could he allow himself to be appear like that.
Even now, though his strength had been restored he still carried a heavy mark he could not remove. A curse in the form of a tattoo was etched into his face which no magic he knew of could remove. Even when he tore his own face off and forced it to grow back, it did not do so unburdened. To hide his shame he bore a white oak mask which obscured all but his eyes.
But that chapter was behind him now. His time on Earth had been decidedly less eventful than his first; now ready to return back home he had only one goal in mind: revenge. His first 'attack' was in his own mind purely philanthropic - he wanted to help his people, but what he found instead was that they spurned him. When the battle was over not one Namekian came to his aid; instead he was forced to accept the help of Nasu else risk being finished off by the others. If that's how it was going to be then to Hell with them! He wanted co-operation, but now he wasn't going to give them a choice.
The people of Namek needed to be sent a message; something to let them know that his intentions were different. As he exited his ship he chooses not to travel back to the capital of Dend as he has two months prior, but instead to fly in the direction of Porunga. The Shrine of Porunga represented in many ways the heart of Namek - it was sacred to all Namekians, including Shakuhachi. Though his desire immeasurable he couldn't help but detect a slight hint of hesitation in his actions; to do what he was planning to do was sacrilege.
But on this day, whatever was left of tradition within Shakuhachi was destined to die, one way or another. Touching down just below the mighty statue he felt what could only be the old magic of Namek; the planet knew what he had come to do, and it wanted to stop it. It attempted to enter his mind and fight from within, but this wasn't the first time an ancient force had barged into his thoughts unwelcomed. He shut himself off to the voices and turned to the few villagers that were praying. By now they had all noticed Shakuhachi, but none had recognized him.
To those skilled in sensing power it would have been obvious rather quickly who was there, even with the mask on. The last time this sort of thing happened there was a great speech of his intentions, but things were much simpler this time. Of the nine Namekians who were praying, Shakuhachi killed three of them within in a flash, then beat the others into submission. He pinned the group to a small boulder nearby, and turned them so that they were facing him. Standing in from of the Shrine now, he tried to explain his actions as quickly as possible.
"Just two months ago I attempted to integrate myself into the capital; no doubt you lot know about that. And when all was said and done where were you to aid me? This time things won't be so pretty. I realize now that place myself atop of the Namekian hierarchy I mustn't just eliminate the Guru... I must eliminate our God Porunga himself! That's why today, you six shall bare witness to me destroying the great Shrine of Porunga, and from its rubble I shall build anew!"
