Kyoha tilts his head as Tiamat continues on about the methods of magic training. There had been a slight hope that he could just work hard to do both her proposed methods to get at it faster, but it seemed like that wouldn't be possible.
"Hrm, just physical then. That's probably more my style anyways."
He really didn't have many expectations for what would come about from this magic business, but he was definitely wondering how either a physical or mental path would both lead to learning magic. It just feels like one of those things that you'd have to be taught in a specific and difficult way since it's not exactly like sorcery is commonplace, but what did he know?
From Flubba, Kyoha heard a concern about pain. A fair worry, honestly. There probably were very few things that could hurt a sentient blob so anything that did manage it was probably really unpleasant.
"Yeah there's no need to worry Flubba. We wouldn't try anything to hurt you randomly. No need to worry about that," he declares, waving his hands dismissively towards the biodroid. The last thing Kyoha wanted to do is harm a nice guy like him for no reason.
As he did this, the bounty hunter would hear a gentle swish through the air before some wooden club banged the back of his head. Wincing in pain, he reaches back and rubs at the spot before looking at the object that had struck him. His eyes would wander down its length until they settled on Tiamat, seeming to have clearly and intentionally hit him with that staff of hers before following up with a question on what had happened.
"Uhh...You hit me? Not much else to say other than that I'll send you the bill for the concussion you gave me," he teased.
