"Its hoooooot!" Liari complained shamelessly, her deep-blue skin ALREADY covered in a thin sheen of sweat! "WHY IS IT SO HOT!?"
The little blue girl had traveled to this part of the world completely on accident, searching for someone she had met long ago. A sayain, he was, their first interaction nearly blowing up into a full-on fight... but he was fun and she was bored! She had flown from her mountain home until it became warm... and then HOT, touching down to observe the city and the strange environment... and regretting it moments later! Yes, the rolling beach-dunes were nice and YES, it was still better than freezing her butt off in the winter nights but it was still BRUTAL, this place! HOW DID PEOPLE LIVE HERE!? The sun beat down on poor Liari as if it were an untouchable assailant, the Majin holding her hands above her eyes in some desperate attempt to give herself some kind of shade and block out the blinding sun! Humans walked by in sleeveless shirts and weird half-rimmed hats, scarcely as disturbed as the blue-skinned girl by the intense summer sun!
"BLEH!" She huffed, flopping herself down in the shade of some scrawny, flakey-barked tree, its wide, sheet-like leaves giving the girl a nice bit of shade to relax in! She sighed happily, crossing one leg over the other and closing her eyes, weaving her fingers together over her chest as she ABSORBED the coolness of this spot! Golly-gosh, she had NEVER appreciated shade before now! In the mountains, you did everything you could to get to the sun, its heat NEVER being as viscerally HOT as this! Sometimes, you would even go a whole DAY without ever seeing it and even then, its touch was a mere ghost of what it was here! Now, all she could think to do was get away from it, but she didn't dare FLY away! After all, she didn't want to get even CLOSER to the sun while it beat on her like this!
"Like this tree..." She sighed, patting it with her hand JUST hard enough to shake it a bit. "It nice and cool an- OOOOF!" Something CRACKED into the top of Liari's skull from above like a fist from an attacker, rolling into her lap as Liari's eyes SWIRLING in her skull, disorientated and in vertigo!
"Uuuuuuuuuuuugh..." She whined, slowly managing to blink the disorientation out mind! Looking down, Liari would spot a big hairy brown ball in her lap, three notches at one end almost like a bowling ball! She clicked her tongue curiously, poking it, then squeezing it a bit between her hands, feeling it was REALLY HARD... ESPECIALLY FOR AN EARTH-THING! She felt its rough exterior, almost those hair-hats humans wore and, upon shaking it...
*SLOOOOSH SLOOOOSH*
The Majin's eyes widened. It was only just now that she felt how THIRSTY she was at the sound of what resided within the hairy ball, her throat as dry and rough as the beaches that made up the coastline of this city! Liari would cock back a fist... and PUNCH off the top of the hairy-ball in her hand, its head SPIRALING OFF into the dirt, revealing a DEEPLY contrasting white-pure inside and, within that... a pocket of water! Without hesitation, she raised it to her lips and drank deeply, flinching only once at the prickliness that was the hair poking into her chin! It was sweet... sweeter and creamier than normal water, heavier too! It was like something she could eat AND drink!
"AAAAHHH..." She sighed heavily, a WIDE smile on her face! It sat well in her belly, filling her up but not uncomfortably so, the Majin giggling and laughing as if the sun hadn't been torturing her for the past several minutes!
