It Came From The Sewers! (Kyoha)

It didn't take much for Flubba to listen to Kyoha, dropping the bear man almost immediately. They seemed to take the Human's words to heart, swearing not to kill someone again, as well. It was all enough to bring a little smirk onto his face. He's actually managed to achieve something pretty good here.

"That's great, big guy. Glad you learned something."

Giving him a thumbs up, Kyoha would then turn his attention to his assailant. They seemed rather pathetic, laying the floor of a sewer, groaning in pain. The bounty hunter knew what kind of person they were, though. This isn't the first time he's dealt with someone that uses these methods.

Stooping down next to them, he grabs the hair on the top of their head and raises them up to see him, eye-to-eye. The thug seemed conscious, at least, though understandably dazed. Flubba really put them through the wringer.

"Alright, you've done a pretty bad job to cover your tracks, slaver. The people up above already were getting suspicious of you, even before I came here. So, you can either tell me who you're working for here or I'll cash you in and get the police to figure it out for me."

"I-I'd rather die, you bounty huntin' filth!" Even now, in their sorry state, the brute still seemed uncooperative, snarling weakly between their broken teeth.

"Well that's a shame. Sleep tight, then," Kyoha mutters before bashing the back of their head with his sword's pommel, knocking them out cold. Hoisting the slaver up over his shoulder, he turns to Flubba.

"I'm going to go turn him in. For now...Honestly, you're free to go. Keep your promise to me and try to not kill and I'll just let you do your thing, big guy...Hmm, I need a proper name for you. Say, what do you call yourself?"

Flubba. What an odd name. It almost felt fitting in a way because of just how odd it was, though. Real easy to remember, too.

"I see. Well, Flubba, my name's Kyoha. If we meet again, please make sure it's not because you were causing trouble," he says with a happy tone of voice, though inside he did dread the idea. If Flubba got into too much trouble on his own, they'd probably put a bounty on killing him, even if Flubba didn't intend to do anything wrong.

"I'm a busy guy, so I'm going to have to be leaving now. Got bounties to hunt and money to make. Well, goodbye."

Without another word, he floats up off the ground and flies towards a nearby manhole cover, popping it out with ease and heading out of it, giving Flubba another wave before putting it back in place.

It didn't take Kyoha long to find some police in the area. As he suspected, they were all over the place, trying to catch the killer of the man in the alley. With only some weird sludge left at the scene, they really didn't have much to go off of, which was probably for the best. Flubba wouldn't handle being a criminal well, he'd have to imagine.

When he presented the bear man on his shoulders and how he very likely was the culprit for the disappearances, the police immediately got to checking the evidence from the sewers before taking him off of Kyoha's hands, promising his payment would come as soon as they could confirm his story.

With him in custody now, Kyoha should feel good, he'd taken in someone that needed to be caught, and yet...What if the police don't find those missing people? Were they already sold off the planet? He shudders at the thought before making his way for his hotel. A nice shower and a rest would help him forget all of that nasty stuff. It always does.
