GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Paige
ALIASES: N/A
AGE: One Hundred & Eighty (180)
GENDER: Female
SPECIES: Shinjin
MYSTIC ARTS [CORE]: The Kais are well known for their adept magical abilities, and Paige is no exception. She may spend 3/6KP to heal a target for 75%/150% damage. Self-healing is only half-effective.
KAI-KAI [CORE]: Kai-Kai allows the Shinjin to move about the universe performing their duties with minimal strain or time for travel. This grants Paige 1/Month Free Travel with up to 5 People, even across dimensions. Once per thread, may use a free dodge of 60% strength.
CREATOR [OPTIONAL]: An advanced form of Magic Materialization, Paige is able to duplicate especially potent items while in the midst of combat. Once per thread, you may use a consumable item an additional time. Healing items are half effective the second use.
GENERAL TRAITS -
>> ANTISENSE: Paige's Ki is naturally attuned differently from that of mortals, which makes her nearly invisible to energy sensing and scouters. In addition, escape techniques have a boost of 20% to their total effectiveness.
>> HOMEBOY: Used to flitting about time and space, Paige can quite easily designate two regions for 'Homes', if she were ever to chose.
STARTING PLANET: Namek
HOME REGION: No starting region.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE - (Has a female cadence but generally appears more 'neutral' due to an effort to emulate a perfect Kai.)
BACKGROUND: The Shinjin are a species also known to be Gods, but even among the divine ranks such as this, there is hierarchy. Some are born of golden fruit and immediately ascend to the highest echelons of existence's bureaucracy, and others are born of literal low-hanging fruit that destined them to be little more than glorified servants. The Greater Kaioshins hold sway over much of Otherworld with their lessers doing the grunt work of the operation. Even the Gods themselves toil away at menial labor in order to keep the universe in check, after all. Born of the core tree's fifth lowest branch, Paige's entire life had already been determined the moment she came into existence. Her sluggish start at picking up on etiquette & proper procedures combined with her naturally quiet and seemingly shy disposition netted the girl a spot as low-brow servant to the more 'important' of her kind. Even there her skills were somewhat lacking. Preparation of food and creation of comfort for their masters was of the upmost priority to a servant Kai like her, yet despite Paige's genuine efforts even that fell flat. She was left to be a seemingly untalented, antisocial mess of a 'deity' that had no right bearing the same title or species as her kin. Superiors sought a way to indirectly rid themselves of her for decades, before finally something came up - a task that she could do brought forth by a particular Shinjin by the name of Hangan.
Hangan was one of few Greater Kais that felt sympathy for Paige, and recognized her attempts as full effort and wholehearted. He knew that the other Kais wanted her gone, and so came up with a plan to have Paige leave for the mortal realms. This would ensure that she'd be free of constant servitude while also appeasing the other Kais. The job was simple in theory: Travel to the realms of the mortals and gather information firsthand on the different species and the moralities that govern them. While it was true the Shinjin could watch from above in the Heavenly Realms, it was said that this mission to gain knowledge from direct experience was a critical one to sustaining their full understanding of mortals. And so she departed from her home, not suspecting the true motivations of Hangan and simply dutifully carrying out the next task laid before her. Paige began in the far reaches of the galaxy, encountering primal and primitive civilizations first and foremost. Her recordkeeping was pristine, detailing precise and detailed, and for a while her faux job went smoothly. That was up until her encounter with an Alien wizard by the name of Ishu, an evil mortal with the plan to create the perfect minion to serve by his side as he gained control over the known universe. This plot horribly backfired, of course, but not even by the hand of Paige. She had simply stumbled upon the scene when his magic of creation went awry. While a magical being was successfully created... he accidentally slipped and fell, knocking his head on the edge of the cauldron and meeting a humiliating defeat. The creature within bubbled and gurgled out, taking shape. And then it turned to Paige...
"Hiya!" Thusly, Salabi was summoned.
As it turns out Ishu had not made a Majin himself, he had summoned an existing one to his location. A very... eccentric one, to say the least. Paige had moved to leave the scene, unconcerned with what the wizard would do from here out, but Salabi had taken a particular interest in the blue Kai. It wasn't everyday that one got to meet a god, after all! In fact, since she had been summoned to be a minion and the original summoner was out of commission, this of course meant that Paige would have to take his place as the boss. ...Paige wasn't really as excited about that prospect as the Majin was. Yet nonetheless shaking a old, well-traveled, regenerating, magical being off your tail was a very hard thing indeed. Though unwanted at first, the Shinjin begrudgingly accepted her as a 'guard' of sorts, filling in for fighting given that Paige's own combat skills were non-existent. To say their relationship was amicable would perhaps be a bit of a stretch, though it was clear that Salabi at least found it enjoyable enough to continue to stick around. There was the issue of the Majin being a creature of chaos - specifically, she continued to do evil deeds ranging from stealing candy to blowing up minor cities on other planets. Paige didn't particularly care all that much. Mortals would balance mortals, and her mission here was to gather intel, not protect the denizens of the universe. Salabi at least had the decency to let Paige finish recording what she needed before doing anything TOO reckless.
Her latest destination was the mystical Planet Namek, a home to a much more powerful and well-known species throughout the local galaxy at large. The Namekians led seemingly simple lives, though even now internal strife tore through their ranks. While the Shinjin had little concern for the politics or battles of a single mortal species, Salabi was definitely itching for a fight...

Ki Sensing | UtilityADDITIONAL NOTES: Paige's x4 will be called 'True Power'
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP use.
Magic Materialization | Utility
Characters with magical abilities can conjure objects or structures. Larger or more complicated things will take more energy and focus to create. This technique is passive and does not use KP use.
