A long time had passed since Tiamat descended into the mortal realm in search of answers. In that time, she had managed to make alliances, interesting encounters, and even friends. This planet was quite interesting in terms of fun, and getting a better understanding of social interaction, as well as simple concepts of enjoying one's life had been discovered, and in the excitement of it all, Tiamat had neglected her duty, the reason she was sent down there. To investigate the mysteries of the mortal world, but also to restore a form of peace down there, to make sure power fell into good hands.
This day, while the sun had fallen to the horizon and night came, Tiamat was reminded of that by one of her superiors communicating with her. Having been pulled away from a night's sleep that she did not exactly need all that much, she made her way to the only place she knew still had unanswered questions, and to hell with the guards on the way there. She knew people were protecting the place, but also she was certain that it was hiding a lead that would allow her to know what was the next step in her travels.
It took only a few minutes for Tiamat to arrive on the lookout. This gigantic broken structure that, with a good tips from someone she met before, she would navigate by flying, to prevent some bits and pieces to fall off, even if the gravity-based spell seemed to work fine still, even with the structure in pieces.
As soon as she set a metaphorical foot on the squares that made the remaining parts of the thing, she looked around, both with her eyes and with her ki-sensing. There was bound to be someone there, just like last time, but hopefully, they would not try to stop her once again. The answer she needed, they were probably deep in the bowels of the labyrinth she could partly see inside the structure. At that point, going through the main door was just courtesy.
