Landing on Earth [Invite Liari]

Things turned all topsy-turvy so fast, to Liari, she was barely able to keep up with it all! Matato had grown so strong, so fast, he was actually dodging and dancing around the little blue girl with much greater success than before, his own attacks coming in at a respectable blitzing pace! He dodged her kick, slapped her hands away throwing one of his own UP into Liari's jaw! Her vision blurred as his knuckles SHOT UP under her face, her head shooting UP, her eyes clenched shut in pain! Yes... much stronger, now... Much FASTER... If it wasn't for Matato's face being so close, she might have thought that she was fighting someone else entirely! '

The sayain threw a quick straight-kick at the Majin's belly, Liari BARELY managing to salvage her faculties and but cross her arms between her chest and his foot! In fact, her fingers would close over his boot, holding it still, a cocky, little smirk spreading across her face! She had him NOW! She-

...Oh.

Liari's eyes flicked down to the glowing ball of energy the sayain had just summoned, HURLING it at The Majin's face to either correct his mistake or to capitalize on it!

"EEP!" She gasped, letting go of Matato's foot and BENDING back, the blast BARELY missing her forehead as it FLEW off into the distance and out of sight! Transforming that back-bend into a back-FLIP, Liari would extend her leg to kick UP at the sayings jaw as she flipped, The Majin cupping her OWN ball of energy in her hand as she stood upright! 

"HAAAAA!" She roared, raising her hand and firing a BIG-BEAM-BLAST at the sayain, hoping to catch him lacking but, should he dodge or block, The Majin would use the ensuing confusion LUNGE for Matato, throwing a BRUTAL hook-punch across his sayain jawline!

Liari was actually STRUGGLING... MORE THAN SHE THOUGHT! She was actually having to think about her next moves, use distractions, control the fight! Usually she just fought for fun BUT, even though there was still amusement to be had, she was being made to fight with PURPOSE too!

Oh, the satisfaction Liari felt, nailing a punch across the face of the sayain after how dexterously and easily he had been avoiding her. By now, Liari was starting to feel the difference between them from how MIGHTY his punches had become, how easily he could avoid hers and how well he could take the attacks that landed. He had become much more formidable and stalwart, flinching less and less from her attacks and, instead, making her flinch more and more from his! He was strong... But that's what made it fun, even if it DID hurt! Fighting was fun because it was hard and because she had to try and stuff! The sayain understood it right? Matato was certainly talking like he di-

Liari sprung back as Matato leered at her with the most HIDEOUSLY CRAZY-EYED GLARE she had ever seen on ANYTHING, his grin, jagged and face-splitting, his eyes nearly whited-out from how small his pupils had shrunk! The air that surrounded him went from eager and almost playful to WILD and out of control! 

...It felt kinda familiar actually.

Liari smirked at that, her own little crazy grin spreading across her face, her Majin-blood pumping in the presence of one of her own kind! Finally, someone who wouldn't beg her to STOP when the fight would drag on! Someone who wouldn't allow cowardice to sink its insidious, broken teeth into their neck when they hurt too much! FINALLY, someone who wanted to actually PLAY with her! Matato had NO idea how relieving it was to meet someone who didn't want to outright control EVERYTHING in their path, someone who would put EVERYTHING into a fight... because that's just what they did! 

"YOU WANNA FIGHT FOR SERIOUS?" Liari yelled, hyped up on the air about her opponent! "THEN LETS GO! WE FIGHT FOR REALS NOW!"

Matato seemed all too happy to oblige, SPRINGING at Liari, fist cocked back, arm BULKING with the energy stored within! The little blue girl would meet him eagerly, cocking back her own leg, it too swelling with the power gathered within! She would CHARGE him down as he would her, the two meeting in the middle with their auras clashing so hard, it was as if twin explosions were going off together threatening to overtake and absorb one another!

"RRAAAAAA-URRRF!" Liari gagged as Matato SWUNG his fist around in a brutally vicious arch, SLAMMING his knuckles into Liari's cheek with enough force to nearly stun her into freezing!... Nearly. She matched him eagerly, SWINGING her own foot around in an elastic, stretching whip-of-a-kick, aiming to SLAM into his side with an equally brutal blow of her own!

Liari's and Matato's blows would slip past one another after a vicious clash of power, the very world seeming to SHAKE in  the presence of their conflicting energies! Liari hated to admit this but it was fights like THIS that she missed from her times with Laezi! Yes, she hated her twin with a passion but the FIGHTS... the STRUGGLE! She missed that so much... She remembered how their fists clashed, when space and time TORE itself asunder with their battles! She remembered how planets crumbled with their clashes, stars fizzled between their energy blasts, how reality warped to fit their needs between their magical trades... Granted, Liari would have to settle for breaking rocks and skinning this portion of the Earth but with how suppressed Liari's powers were, she could hardly feel the difference! Matato was certainly having the time of his life over there, his ecstatic, if slightly maddened voice only spurring Liari to fight on that much harder! Could it be that she found a friend in this man, someone who she could fight and play with regularly...? Maybe! She hoped so!

The two fighters would trade blows with such limited defense, their punches and kicks flew past one another with next to NO resistance! A punch would SLAM into Liari's face only for her to retaliate with a kick between the sayain's legs! He would slam his boot into her stomach, Liari would lash at his jaw with a punch! They would go back and forth, their blows blasting away the air between them in ferocious shockwaves, the environment heating and freezing radically between the energy generated from their impacts and the natural environment in which they fought! 

However, much like those fights with Laezi, Liari would find herself steadily being pushed back! She just DIDN'T have the power available to her to outright overwhelm the sayain in a fist-fight! Steadily, more and more blows were starting to land on Liari, more than she could output herself, a massive KICK from Matato sending her FLYING across the icy-landscape and into the mountain wall! She winced as the rock gave way like cheap-glass behind her, huffing and puffing heavily as she fell from the wall, landing on her hands and knees as her stamina struggled to keep up with all the punishment! She would look up... and Liari would clench her teeth in fear, Matato having summoned a MASSIVE purple ball of energy and THROWING it right at her!

"AH!" She screamed, holding her hands out to push it back! "W-WAIT!" Whether it was to the Matato or to the ball itself, it mattered not. It would not be stopped, not even for a moment! Instead of the Majin's hands putting up some kind of resistance to the ball, it instead INSTANTLY vaporized it, sucking her in a fraction of a piece at a time! Her blackened sockets WIDENED with fear, pain and shock as her arms then began disappearing into the ball's hungering maw, soon beginning to chomp at her shoulders and chest moments later!

"AAAAAAAAAAH!" She screamed, the icy grip of terror filling her heart again! "NO! NONONONONNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh..." 

BOOM!


The ball would erupt in a MASSIVE explosion of power, leveling the entire icy area, somehow making it even MORE BARREN than it was before! Little flecks of blue managed to survive the explosion, the pieces starting to wiggle profusely in the air before SHOOTING into one place in the sky! More and more would collect until a writhing mass of blue, rubbery matter would have collected, the mass starting to shape into... a human outline...? Details formed, a sketch of what appeared to be clothes before...


*POP!*


Liari had completely rejuvenated, her whole body reformed from Matato's blast!... However, the instant her body was reconstituted, Liari instantly fell to the ground, huffing and puffing as if she'd just been strangled for the past minute, rolling over on her back as if to take in MORE air!

"Oooooooooow......" She whined pitifully, steam weakly rolling out of the holes along her arms! "It hurt.... badbadbadbaaaaaaaaaad....."

"Neat trick" he says as Liari lay flopped out on the ground after needing to fully reconstitute her body! EASY FOR HIM TO SAY! He didn't nearly lose molecular cohesion just now!

...Still... It was nice of him to say so...

Somehow, through the pain, Liari would manage a smile, the little blue girl slowly climbing to her feet, her aura flickering back to life around her as she gathered herself once more! The sayain would express his worry that Liari might not be able to pick herself up after an attack like that and, in response, she would spit upon the ground shaking the fuzziness out of her head! 

"No, stupid!" she grumbled, her aura FLARING heavily! "I fight until I win! That how game works!" Funny, he seemed the sort to understand that sort of thing... And WHY wasn't his body repairing itself, even from here, the little blue girl could see the bruises on his skin from her punches, the blood pooling beneath his flesh from the blunt damage! Scratches still covered his armor and body from what she could see... Was he not regenerating on PURPOSE or something???

...Maybe he just thought he was BETTER than her! 

She smirked at that... He was gonna see how wrong he was!

"RAAAAAAAAAH!" Liari HOWLED, her aura SPIKING as she focused her energy more and more, the little blue girl RISING into the sky higher and higher, until she was a mere speck in the vast blue ocean above! Raising a hand upwards, a MASSIVE black sparking ball of energy would collect above her palm, SWELLING bigger and bigger until it nearly encompassed the visible sky around them, voltage ARCHING over them like lightning bolts from blackened clouds! The energy-sphere would slowly condense inwards, focusing into an orb roughly double the size of The Majin herself, the little blue girl smirking down at the sayain! 

"YOU!" She screamed, pointing down at her opponent below her! "YOU TALK LOTS BUT I BET YOU SCARED NOW! BET YOU CAN'T CATCH THIS! BET YOU RUN SCARED!" She grinned wider, knowing how SHE'D react if she were in his place. "YOU NOT STRONG! NOT AT ALL! HAHAHAHA!"

Liari smirked at the palpable confidence in the sayain's voice! He actually thought he was going to get up after this! What a chuckle-head! He had NO idea how much power she had hovering above her head, let alone that which she was still gathering! Everything was going to plan... FINALLY, SHE WAS GONNA WIN A FIGHT WITH SOMEONE! The sky would grow dark around them as the Majin's energy-ball radiated a haunting energy, clouds coagulating above them as if to reflect the hostile energies within Liari's attack! The ball pulsated and condensed further, Its massive signature condensing down to a ball barely over half the size of its summoner... and The Majin knew it was ready! 

"STUPID! HAHAHAHAHAH!" Liari would laugh haughtily! "YOU FELL FOR IT! STUPIDSTUPIDSTUPID! NOW YOU LOSE! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

THROWING her arm down, the energy-sphere would ROCKET down towards Matato at blistering speed, almost as if its intent was to BREAK HIM IN HALF before obliterating him brilliantly! The longer he held on against it, the bigger it would GROW, the raw energy inside causing its shape to expand and rumble dangerously, threatening to explode all on its own! The impact with Matato would cause the ground around them to EXPLODE with a shockwave of opposing forces, the loose rock, snow and ice hovering in the air as if in suspense, fearfully watching to see if their existences might end this day! 

...But Liari knew this wasn't even HALF the attack it was going to be! If Matato was having a problem with THIS, she was gonna show him a REAL BLAST!

THROWING her hands forwards, wrists clapped together, The Majin would grin devilishly down upon the spinning, expanding ball of death she had created, by now easily encompassing the sayain, hiding him from view! She was gonna BEAT that energy-ball into him, whether he wanted it or not! Matato DESIRED her best attack, he was gonna get it! All 150% of it! 

"Ka......." She growled, bringing her hands back behind her, palms cupping an invisible space!

"H-... URK!"

Liari grunted as she felt the force of the ball REVERSE slightly in her direction, the little blue girl being shoved HIGHER into the air! Not only was her energy-sphere STOPPED, but Matato had actually REVERSED IT, SHOVING it an inch-at-a-time back to sender! Liari gritted her teeth and hissed in frustration, ENRAGED that Matato was actually taking her attack... and HUMILIATING HER with it, attempting to THROW it back in her face in the biggest "No, YOU" fight The Majin had ever experienced!... But it wouldn't be so easy! NO SIR! She wasn't about to let this dingus undo all that she was preparing for him! Suddenly, the BACK of Liari would bulge and writhe, her flesh bubbling and sprouting OUT as if something were bursting forth from the inside! As if CLAWING its way out, a copy of The Majin would BURST forth from Liari, clothes and all, a perfect replica in every way! Realizing what was going on, the clone would SHOOT in front of Liari and extend its hands DOWN, ending an invisible PULSE of power DOWN upon the sayain, forcing the ball to GRIND to a halt! 

"TCH!" The clone would tsk, resenting, as the original did, the MAGNITUDE of resistance Matato was putting up! Even between the two Majin, they couldn't FORCE the ball down to completely sandwich the sayain between it and the ground, rather, barely managing a stalemate as Liari charged her final attack! The clone would look back desperately at Liari and The Majin would return the look, the two unsure if this would even be enough! If Matato was having THIS easy a time repelling her attack... he might even SURVIVE what was coming next and THEN what would they do!? Both Majin girls seemed to share the same thought, worried that this fight might be over, depending on what state the sayain was in! 

"...No give up..." Liari gasped, returning her focus back to charging her ki! "...He not stronger... WE stronger... WE better! WE NO GIVE UP!" 

The clone's eyes widened... then narrowed with determination, giving her creator a nod before focusing back down upon the ball beneath her! 

"GRRAAAAAH!" The Liari clone roared, pouring all of its energy into SUPPRESSING the sayain's efforts! Even if she couldn't win, she just needed to buy a few seconds... JUST a FEW MORE SECONDS... Then this fight would be decided! 

In their favor... or not.
