Seal Me Again!? (Nasu)

Nasu… had nothing better to do than moving up the Frozen North that day. It was cold, way colder than even Saiyans could possibly resist. And a Saiyan was nearly as warm as hell. One could easily have proof of that fact by touching him: the man being the mass he was, and with his height and power… basically it did not grant him cold resistance but he was at least tolerant to low temperatures. Of course up here it was worse than that, to the point where even the unyielding man would have packed up to leave the place.

But he decided he could not do that yet, not now at least. He felt like he was on the right path to finding what he sought: a crest. The reasons as to why Nasu even sought a crest, was perhaps something unknown and yet not entirely relevant to the current events of the day. It was most likely that perhaps one day people would hear of the tale in a second moment’s notice, but now the man struggled in the cold.

He was dressed up in his undershirt, nice and warm. For the most, and yet cold daggers struck through him as they were unrelenting and deadly. Not literally, it was literally just the temperature being that low that it made him feel very strange: he felt half-warm and half-cold. If he imagined his whole person being in one sole part of his body, for example, a part where he felt warm, he would feel comfort. But the fact was that his body was a half-way between comfort and discomfort, due to the odd climate.

Winds and snowstorms were probably the norm around here. But that was not what intrigued him, even in his clothes that were somewhat revealing, and his crimson cloth donned as a gown served as the greatest generator of cold: it allowed him not to fall sick and ill. Therefore he was lucid enough to feel like he could not imagine things, but he was pretty sure that all of a sudden he could hear something.

It was a voice, at first. He did not know what or whose it spoke of, but it was pretty clear to the hearing. And he could tell what it was saying, but of course he did not understand it. He had no clue and even his senses began to go a little off: there was somebody else, that was for sure by now. He decided to try and give it a look and soon upon his cloud he flew to where he could hear explosions, and the air itself carried a burning stench. Not that he could tell the ‘smell’ all that great, due to his nose being frozen, almost.

He reached the destination, and even before he did, his eyes began to acknowledge the damage being done to the ground and soon, he leapt off and with a sturdy knock into the ground, he did his ‘superhero landing’, more or less. He pushed himself off the ground and looked up to the stranger.

“Oh… not again.”

Nasu said to himself, he could easily recognize that kind of person: she looked a lot like that demon that attacked the city once. Except the demon was strangely and curiously buff, tall and small all the same. This one looked almost normal, she would probably manage to carry an adorable vibe if not for the mass destruction tendency this strange batch of demons seemed to share.

Well. He guessed it was the same old one two again. It was true no one lived there, but if she was this much enraged, he doubted that she would not possibly go around and possibly harm someone, even accidentally. So he figured he had to do the dirty work again, and he pulled his leg back indeed and watched her, for any reaction or move. His tail wagged a little bit in curiosity.

“Hello! I am Nasu. Who are you? Do not take offense... but I think I heard you across the mountains, so you can talk, right?”

He figured he would ask, since his last experience was with a Majin that could not even speak, apparently. He did not know if that thing was a common trait of the species or if it was just him, but well, no harm in asking.

Nasu approached the other with very little concern, he knew that even if she was to suddenly go nuts like the other one he would have been able to stop her. And of course, that was actually the case. Not a moment went by that the Majin suddenly ‘did’ indeed, lose her shit.

In a manner of speech that could be either elegant or uselessly long, but she suddenly began to blabber words out and more like… a kid. Nasu was a bit stunned, mostly because having been father of three kids he was basically used to hearing and seeing stuff like that.

In a way he began having some kind of flashbacks. Those kind of moments where you would suddenly fall into a world of infinite time, while outside it would have been one second at best. However, even his children felt a little numb in the image of his mind.

They were hardly shadows and mostly empty bases, it was almost like he did not remember them. He did not know why, but he figured it had just been that long that his mind knew they would look different at this time and age, therefore he had a hard time thinking of them as they used to be.

Then again he did not even know if they were alive.

“(...What am I doing with my life?)”

He blinked briefly, by that point he began to doubt if Majins even were supposed to ever look like kids.

He was pretty sure this one was too young mentally to even converse at this point, which was a problem: a kid with a considerate power level on a planet of weaklings was a remarkable danger to the well being of the Earthlings.

He sighed a bit, after all, maybe he would have had to fight her. But he decided not to immediately go for it, and instead tried to soothe her down a bit.

“Look. I do not have the slightest idea what you want or are looking for. If you want help, I will help you.”

But of course she did not probably listen thoroughly at first, as the entire area continued to be victim of her ki and mental explosions, to which Nasu simply observed quietly. He did not seem to be widely concerned from the view alone, and instead was more curious to see what the blue creature had to say for herself.

The creature, of course, put down the matter of ‘a missing ball’. She was looking for a ball. Did she lose her ball while playing with it? Strange.

He doubted she would be that mad for a toy. Or well, it was not impossible that would be the case but he sure hoped not. Instead, the man ruffled through his contents and had nothing on himself, besides a banana. Therefore, he offered it to her.

“All I have. No ball of yours. I was saving it for snack, but eh.”

He would have liked saying: “(If that helps you shut up, you keep it. My ears are hurting.)”. But Nasu was not dumb, thankfully, partially. So he knew that even being bold would have only made things worse, but his ears were indeed ‘throbbing’ at the moment. But he decided to try and forgive, he was not going to be aggressive about it. Even though it hurt, so at the moment he was making a mental effort not to show it and remain calm.

There was no way, of course, that he was going to reason with a Majin apparently. He tried, he really did. But no matter what, it looked like this kind of people were just unreasonable and outright crazy.

Most of the time, at least. But now Nasu was left with very little choice, because this blueberry Majin was going on non-stop about how apparently this man was a liar to the bone. Even though he could not remember the last time he said a lie, the guy decided that it was pointless trying to fight it. Verbally, that was. Of course, the only way this was going to stop was obviously confronting her.

“All I do is lie? You have known me for about thirty seconds, how would you even know me?”

The man was pretty straightforward, with his deep voice and straight face: surely Nasu was not exactly the happiest looking guy on the planet, but he was fairly good and honest, despite his scary face and never ending frown. He could not even address this creature properly: he did not know what it was or why it felt like all of them just liked wrecking whatever was around them, but by now Liari too, much like that other pink one, suddenly began to splash her frustrations on the entire area.

Yet. Something was different. Didi blasted and destroyed the area, this one… just turned things into food?

“What?”

He blurted out himself, without too much time to realize that this one was quite literally turning things into candy. Truth be told he kind of wanted a taste now, since he could use some food in a cold place like this. But from what he could see, it was mostly rocks and whatever, therefore he did not get quite angry about it but a concern was given birth to in his mind: could this work on people too? In any case, the moment he turned he found himself in the way of a large blast that exploded right into his face.

A large wall of smoke of course had to take scene, and for a moment, perhaps Liari could believe that Nasu was gone, but that was until the smoke began to clear out that she would still find him standing straight where he was standing earlier. His expression was unphased, unlike his top whose sleeves had been torn away. But otherwise he did not look severely injured.

“I see. Well. Since you want to act like a child… I will just have to beat your ass until you finally listen to me.”

The man spread his arms wide and soon enough came up running towards her, the intent was simple enough: a grasping hand to snuck all five fingers tightly into her face before he could hop off the ground and ride upon his flying cloud, the goal was to basically try and drag her through the air until he found a large boulder he could try and smack her right into it while he was still holding her by the face.

By now the man had already cracked through the stone nearly with his thrust. It was incredibly strong, nevertheless but it looked like that by now even the Majin had to have stopped. The one and only fact that could back such a thing up was the fact that his ears were now free of any further noise, he felt free finally. It felt much better. But as he looked down now he nearly choked on his saliva to see the Majin reduced into… what the hell was that even?! Of course the Saiyan began to kind of sweat and feel severely worried.

Did he kill her? No, there was no way. He could still feel she was alive, but even then, only by now the man realized he was not suppressing his energy and allowed his hand to smack his own forehead, not fully but only by the wrist area. He sighed and soon began to watch, he was not sure how to feel about it. He felt like he had seen something similar with that other Majin before, or maybe not. He was not sure about it by now, but he could see it move and it was all piling up and together.

“(So she is coming together again. Wonderful creatures. But with those tantrums, they are almost wasted. I wonder if you can actually befriend one at this point.)”

The man thought to himself while his feet led him not too far away from the scene. A lot of the area elements had been turned into sweets now. Naturally he was curious to see for himself, as he picked up one little sweet and shoved it inside his mouth. His first approach with his teeth was cautious, to check if it would taste like a rock or perhaps actually be a sweet. Surprisingly it was indeed sweet and it tasted good.

He hummed. He began to pick up a few more, and by the time he did so, the Majin had come back to a physical form he could recognize. He turned and watched her, she did not seem to be antagonizing him right now. Well, that did not mean she was not going to suddenly jump him again but he felt bad, honestly. His heart strained a little, therefore he tried to at least be nice.

“Sorry. Will you be alright? I guess you will be. You are really cool, you can get back together like that so easily.”

His hand reached out with some of the sweets he had been collecting, wondering if she would want to grab some of the delicacies she made herself.

“Do you have a name?”

Nasu was not sure what to expect at first. Mostly because her snap-like moment basically announced an imminent reaction that could have possibly caused another ruckus in the area, which of course, would have meant he was probably meant to knock this thing down and leave if she really would be that sensitive about seeing the man just because he happened to be in the area during her distress.

But the reaction was quite different instead. He was not sure if he could see right, as the Majin had a blue shade and it was different from that other Majin but he was sure that her complexion was even a little darker now around the cheeks. Was that a blush? What was she even giggling about?

(“This feels like a prank almost. Are cameras about to pop out or something?”)

He kind of began looking for them, because he trusted most of his instincts that something was not right at the moment. But that was not for long, as his attention was once more stolen by the Majin. He did not know much about Majins, but she looked at her own creations like she was a kid in a candy shop. Even if she was basically the owner of the shop, given the fact she made every single one of those. He stared at her, confused.

But his expression did state a little bit of surprise when she almost begged for those. Somewhat in a polite tone, too. This was new, he expected all Majins to be chaotic beings twenty four hours a day by now. But instead he was seeing a new side of these people for once.

It was strange, too. Having been father to three children, this sight alone was nostalgic and adorable all the same, just a bit. And even in his mind, voices nearly came to whisper. What a strange feeling. He sighed and nodded.

“Here. You can have it all. I am not hungry.”

He let go of the fingers that held the bag together and just let Liari take it, whether she would grab it or not stop its fall, it would not make much of a difference. He proceeded to take some distance in front of Liari and sat on a nearby slide of the crater, allowing him to sit up just fine.

“I am Nasu. I am not sure if I already told you at this point, though. But you can eat up, it is all yours. Say, what is this about a ball you lost? I will help you out.”

Truth be told. Helping her looked like something a little hard to really gauge. Not because he did not want to but he did not know how to, apparently the whole key to this was about finding a ball of sorts. But the world was full of balls, that was the issue. The ball could have been anything with the amount of information he had been given thus far, he needed something more that could really help him out detail the object in his mind. So, Nasu did not immediately say yes. But in a way, he probably meant to help by asking those questions alone.

"Alright, calm down."

First, he addressed this issue. He wanted this Majin to try and keep her head high if he could help it anyhow, he needed her not to throw some weird tantrums or suddenly snap in half. Either that or he had to crush her into a rock again, but he breathed out and rose a finger for her to see.

"Let us begin with the first issue at hand. What is this ball like? Is it blue, red, green? I do not know. I am not a ball expert, so you will have to give me a few hints here. Because sure as hell this whole place is large and wide, and this ball could basically be anywhere at this point. Do you not agree?"

The man also had to know why this ball was also so important. He did not understand a large series of things, why was this ball a problem at all? She was trapped inside it once, but she did not explain why or how she could not break out of it or tell why exactly the ball was important. He supposed it belonged to her at first, but if she was this scared about going back into the ball, he figured there was probably a way to seal her into the ball. It was curious. He wondered if you could seal all of her kind inside a ball.

He would probably have to look into it later. Not to do it on her but just in case the skill could ever result to be useful, after all. The man left his post as a sitting man and propped the Majin to do as well. He looked around and basically left his stare upon Liari once more, as he eyed her.

"So, where to? What was the last place you saw this ball? Or if you have any clue at all as to where we should begin looking, this place is huge."
