When she investigated Jackie's tribe with the earthling, Tiamat remembered the stories about the Karin tribe and the tower that should be climbed and the fact that she had not ever seen what was up there, especially because there was never a living being that went up there the whole time she was on observation duty in the kai's world. This was unacceptable, and curiosity got the better of the Shinjin woman, who decided to do the ascension herself. Finding the tower itself was not so hard, although there was some strange cloud formation that prevented her from seeing where it ended... she had never been the physical type, but she would have to do it if she wanted to see what was up there, especially since the tribe was adamant that the first ascension must be done manually... alright... time for some physical exercise, she had never been so happy to be this lightweight.
Did it take her hours, how many? She did not quite keep the count, but she finally reached what she initially believed to be what she was looking for, but upon further inspection, it seemed to be some kind of... resting ground... for the rest of the run. It was in obvious disrepair, although it seemed to have been left there in a relative good state, a staff resting next to the door. This place had a very official feeling to it, but the climb was still on! She got on top of the first structure... and while she could see the next structure, there was nothing to reach it.
Of course, it did not stop Tiamat, who would simply high jump her way to the bottom of the structure, and they managed to climb on the massive ground that seemed shattered.
Once she got on top of it, her eyes widened to take the whole sight in. Something had happened here, and whatever force had been guarding this place was holding it together, even when shattered, which made it looked like this lookout was in the middle of an explosion.
The wind blew through her hair as she looked down... this place... it was perfect to observe the whole planet! She knew it, if she used her clairvoyance, she could see it all from here! It was built by someone who knew exactly what they were doing... but to what purpose... and why had it been forgotten?
