Central City; by far Earth's most populated settlement, and the only major one which Faustus had yet to visit. Things hadn't gone well for the Majin at the tournament; though he put up a valiant effort against the Demon Erebos he found himself falling short of victory. He had expected to go further than just the round of sixteen, though Erebos was tough, and as long as he progressed then it didn't seem as bad, so there was a small shred of solace to be found.
But he didn't want to have his mind stuck on the tournament any longer. He knew that as long as Azoth was still in it there wouldn't be any chance of them leaving Earth, which meant he needed to found something to distract himself. It would be an understatement to call Faustus a sore loser, and though he was handling this better than expected he still required something to take up his time until they were ready to leave Earth.
Thankfully the planet was large and diverse, and no where was that more evidence than Central City. If there as anywhere on this rock that he could find something to pass the time with then it'd be here. The bustling crowds and skyscraper made for quite the different kind of scenery than he was used to. Despite the size it wasn't quite as riddled with crime as East City was, which made it instantly more likeable in his eyes.
It was also the home of Earth's leadership, though with a current vacancy in that position he didn't care to visit castle just yet. Now something that sounded a little more livelier was a zoo; perhaps he could find lunch there as well. Being the largest city on the planet meant that there was a wide variety to choose from; he settled for what seemed like the largest.
There was a great variety of animals on display, and practically none of them could be found on Plant. The only choice to be made now was which one would be his snack? Eventually he settled on the lions; vicious creatures which should fill him up for a good few days, and plenty of meat which was probably important, though the workings of his 'muscles' were a mystery even to himself. He slithered through the spaces in between the fence and created a ruckus when seen wrestling with one of the beasts; apparently you weren't supposed to go inside their cages; no one told him that!
A crowd gathered around the small enclosure; their eyes fixated on the pink man swallowing up one of the lions in just a single bite. It didn't take for him to notice the onlookers.
"Is something going on?"
