This felt...odd, quaint. Rime had seen the spaceport, he had seen the capital city, even some of the wastes in the distance. So far, he'd avoided getting in one himself, but fight were all over the place. From what he understood, this was some kind of Saiyan bonding exercise where they would beat the absolute living daylights out of one another, then simply get up and continue drinking or talking, or whatever it was they had been doing before. He just didn't get it. What was that all about? He knew that physiologically, Saiyans were driven towards battle - they were deadly fighters and had a habit of getting stronger once they had been beaten to near death. Yet, he was here to understand Saiyan psychology and culture; to begin to 'get' what made them who they were.
Somehow, he had found himself in some kind of shop, mostly to try and figure out what it was that Saiyans valued. There was lots of food, which was normal. There was a shopkeeper who kept staring at him like he was freakish, which was also not out of the ordinary. There were some things here and there that he expected, mostly battle-centred items and even a set of armour over in the corner. That looked Arcosian-made, didn't it? Even out here, they found some success, at least. Rime continued exploring the place, trying to find something in it he could take, that would speak to the Saiyan mind.
Eventually, he stopped, and saw a small painting that had been done, amongst some of the other items on the shelves. It showed a mysterious figure, Saiyan in appearance but with a shrouded face and identity. They gave off an aura of power, of something greater. Even he could almost immediately tell what this was. The legendary super saiyan, perhaps? What an interesting idea. He did often regard the 'Super Saiyan' as an idealised version of the warrior, a nigh-mythical figure they all lived up to. If there was something to get into the Saiyan psyche, this was it.
Rime left with his bag in tow, and wondered if he must have looked a tad silly. He appeared just as a tourist doing shopping, in what may have been one of the roughest planets across the galaxy. He knew that in this smaller, quieter town, he would get more looks. Usually, this would be a bad thing, but he wasn't supposed to be covert on Plant. Besides, he had to know more. What made a Saiyan want to come here, away from all the noise and fighting? More importantly, which way was he supposed to go from here, again? He looked up at a sign directing him where he was. W Fasha Drive. He hadn't been on this street before. Perhaps exploring some more of Tarbel Village would help him find whatever it was he needed to learn.
