Korado was giving a last look around the planet of plant. Korado wanted to see the world he was going to soon leave in the dust. To head to earth and live a peaceful life. A life that was worth living. This life on Plant was just war and violence. It was not some life that he wanted to forced to go too. But he didn't wanna just leave not remembering this planet. He knew one day he may want to return. To see what happened to this planet. But he just could not stomach being involved. He hoped that both sides would find peace but he knew that day may not come. So he'd turn his head and not watch. Even if that was the immoral thing. Korado and and Sickle marched through the Ruined Metropolis. They just gonna enjoy the battlefield. It was pretty dangerous since it was between a war between the Tuffles and the Saiyan's. But Korado was going to be careful to avoid any of those people. If he kept his eyes out and his scouter ready he'd know if anyone came towards him as he toured the ruined buildings, the sign of how this war had torn apart this one glorious city.
Phakk wasn't sure what she was supposed to be feeling. The Shinjin woman had only recently arrived upon Plant, and already there were multiple signs of things affirming what she had seen from orbit. The planet was... rather neatly split into thirds, it seems. Two sides, and in between them... nothing. Worse than nothing. Ghosts, ruins, torn and destroyed battlefields. Explosions from multiple simultaneous battles had bloomed and blossomed across the planet from where she had been descending, but now that she found herself among the ruins of one of the cities caught between them, she heard none of that. No roars of rage, staccato of blaster fire, cries of pain or surprise. Now there was... nothing but the creaks and groans of this... decimated, massive grave. Any secrets it held went with it, replaced with nothing but the howling of the wind.
Of course, that didn't mean it was empty. There was a curious little purple gas floating around, that made Phakk feel... good... when she touched it. It was odd to describe. She felt more... firm? She supposed? It was distracting, but still. probably best to leave whatever mysterious vapours within the tomb city by themselves, and to instead follow that odd ki signature she could feel a small bit away. It felt out of place, even for here. Too... active? She supposed? Compared to the others she felt lingering nearby. As such, the Shinjin began to fly closer. "H-hello?" She calls out once closer, her voice bouncing off of the scarred and tattered walls. "Is anyone there? I can feel you!"
Korado kept walking around but his scouter began to blink. Someone was it near him? Korado glanced at the number. It read out a power level of <36,000>. Korado felt himself freeze up a bit. Why was everyone so strong? Korado was really starting to wonder that. Maybe Plant was just not as strong as he thought it was. It was just back water. A few weeks ago he thought a power like would belong to only an Ozzaru. He doubted this was an Ozzaru too because he didn't see one. A giant monkey was pretty hard to miss. Now it was a question of what was giving off the power. He glanced at his pet Sickle, "Be careful, not sure what is coming." Korado mentally prepared himself to fight, even if he knew he stood no chance.
But as they turned to see what was coming towards them. It was a purple-haired woman. Korado was a bit confused, to say the least. She didn't look like a Saiyan. Nor was she really a typical truffle. Maybe she was someone not from this planet. They were a lot of theories he could propose on what she could be, but she was strong. That was good enough for him to stay on edge. Even if she didn't seem that mean. "Hello, yes I am down here." he waved towards where his scouter pointed out Phakk was. He was going to assume though that hiding around would do no good. She knew they were around here so no point to delay. He just hoped she was friendly.
"O-oh! Hi!" Phakk blinked, noting Korado for the first time as he responded to her, a smile blossoming on the Shinjin's face. Descending as a gently pace, Phakk moved to hover slightly in front of the... Tuuuuffffllleee? He didn't have one of those monkey tails that she could see, so it was probably best to just assume Tuffle for now. "Sorry, I didn't m-mean to bother you. Just... I didn't expect someone else to be here, really. Well... not anyone still living." This place was definitely destroyed, right? She hadn't accidentally just landed in a proper, if poorly maintained, city? She might need to rethink those spiritual signatures she had been sensing earlier... "O-oh, sorry, I also didn't introduce myself. I'm um... I'm Phakk! I'm new to Plant, so I thought i;'d see this city. I'm not uh... doing anything bad am I? This isn't a place I'm not allowed to be?" Oh, how bad would it be if her first act on Plant was to step foot on some ancient burial ground? That would would be a horrible start!
Glancing between this Tuffle and the other signature she felt, Phakk blinked at the sight of the... thing next to him. What... was that? It looked like something Phakk herself made, when she inadvertently tapped into her powers. "U-um... hello! What's your name? ...s?" She originally asks the creature, but blinks and embarrassedly glances towards the Tuffle as well. Be polite, Phakk!
Korado looked towards Phakk as she came down, she said she didn't mean to bother him. She didn't expect anyone to be here. He understood that this city was pretty empty. "Yes, I don't think anyone lives here anymore. They were people once but this city has been mostly destroyed. There is still conflict between Saiyans and Tuffles but they are fighting not here right now." Korado sighed. Once a wondrous city and now it was ruined. But that was just what war did, it left everything devastated. Phakk introduced herself as he nodded, "I'm am Korado. I'm a saiyan though I am neutral in the war. Just trying to leave this planet to get away from all of this." Korado waved his arm. "Anyway this down here is my pet Sickle as well." Sickle formed a hand to wave to her. As for her question, if she was not to be here or not, Korado waved, "No this is fine. We just need to be careful as well. AS long as we are careful we should be just fine." Korado checked his scouter to see if they were any other powers nearby. But they were no powers that were close. "Plus you are pretty strong. I'm sure if someone came around you could take them out." Korado said waving his hand. "Anyway you wanna come exploring with me."
"Oh. that.. I'm sorry." Phakk sighs, not wanting her information to have bee right, if she was honest. For such a horrible thing to have happened, and for there to still be so much grief and death after obviously so long... it was beyond disheartening. But! That wasn't the topic of conversation right now, as Korado and Sickle introduced themselves, the two of them getting a smile from her and Sickle a wave in addition. "Well, it's lovely to meet you two." She responds, making sure to remember what she could about those step by step friendship tutorials. "And sure! I'll come exploring." After all, it was a ruined city. This felt like it could be an interesting time!
Descending from the air to land next to the pair of them, Phakk offers Sickle and Korado another wave of greeting once nearer, before glancing at the city. "Is there... anything in particular that you're a-after? Like m... like a ship? To help you get off planet, I mean. Or is there another reason you're here?" It could be like why Phakk was here. Curiosity, or some need to see exactly what was going on on this planet and witness its results first hand.
Korado nodded, she seemed really nice and she seemed to be fine with walking with them to explore the city, "Alright let's go." Korado waved as he began to walk. Sickle bounced after Korado as he looked over the ruins of the city. He passed by a street that looked pretty damaged, if he remembered correctly this was where he ran into Onnio, Vocado, and Zuqqueta. He still needed to pay back Onnio for the beating he took. But he had not gotten much stronger and the Ozzaru would easily be his undoing. He turned back as Phakk asked what he was after. Like a ship, or another reason. Korado paused as he looked around the city in thought. How to answer her question.
"I suppose I'm trying to find a reason." Korado let the words hang as he glanced around the city. "How these people could fight each other. I've had the opportunity to live between both sides of this war. I was born a Saiyan but I have tuffle blood pumping in my veins. Even if it is not a lot. I have been able to see both sides and I think I got a pretty good idea. They were pretty different but I don't believe they were destined to fight. Something must have happened when the Saiyans arrived here that sparked the war. And they have been fighting since. And this city like this is an example of that." Korado then grabbed some scrap off the ground, "Secondary is helping me build my way off this planet. Because no matter why this war started, I don't wanna be here to see it finsh. I want to leave this all behind and just live peacefully."
"Oh." Phakk blinks at what Korado had to say, looking down to the barren ground as they walked. "...Hm. Well um..." How much did she want to do this? The shinjin cranes her neck to look back to the sky, before huffing. She had only met him... but what was it that she was always telling Ward? Have some faith in mortals? It was right that she'd listen to her own advice. "What if there was a way to stop it? Or at least... show them a better path?" She starts, tentatively glancing towards the Saiyan. "I... Well. That's why I've come to Plant. I... Believe I might be able to separate the two of them. Put up a barrier her,e in the wastes, to stop them from battling. Keep the tuffles to one side, and the Saiyans to the other. If we were able to separate them, and keep the bulk of their forces from being able to fight one another, they'd have no other choice but to experience peace." Was this really the wisest of ideas? Maybe not. But she wanted to give him hope.
"If I can show them the virtues of peace, and not fighting... maybe they'd forget about wanting to kill each other. And at the very least, less lives would be lost. If you... if you want... You can join me in that? I'll be attempting it soon, and it'd be nice to know that someone with a noble goal like yours is there to support me." She offers him a smile. "Feel free to say no, though! There's no pressure of course. I-i just... I dunno. it's scary. I know some people will want to keep the battle going." There's a shrug from the Shinjin, before she looks around at the results of exactly what she planned to stop.
Korado glanced at Phakk began to speak, that maybe there was a way to stop this war. Maybe something they had not seen. She admitted she came to name because she believed she could separate them. Maybe put up a barrier so they could not harm each other. Some way to stop this fighting that tore this planet apart. Korado glanced at his scouter, she had been pretty strong. But he doubted enough for her barrier to stop both sides. At least not for a long time. They were a lot of strong saiyans and tuffles from what he had seen. More from the saiyan side, but the tuffles had their destron gas and other dangerous technology that allowed them to keep up with the saiyans. He finally sighed, "I wish you had that strength but I don't think anyone has. I think peace has to come organically between the two sides or one of them leaves this planet." He assumed the latter would be the case sadly.
Anyway, Phakk spoke about how the virtues of peace, maybe if they learned that they could become together. She seemed to really think they were pretty savage. Korado glanced, "Uh, well I think they know about peace. They are just..well they are just stubborn. Both sides have something they want. The Saiyans want a place to live. They don't have a home and they landed here. So might as well try to make this their home. As for the tuffles, well it is their home and they're being invaded by the saiyans." Still, Phakk was giving him an offer to join her to help sort this all out. Phakk seemed to really need help to understand this conflict but Korado wanted no part of this war. He sighed, "I am good thank you. I don't wanna stay on this planet. I just wanna leave its fates. I don't have the strength of fist or mind to change this world." He shook his head.
"I think you'll find I'm stronger than I appear." She gives Korado a smile at his comment, feeling the Dark roil in anger at his claim that she wasn't as strong as a bunch of mortals, but alas, Phakk tamped down for the umpteenth time upon that urge. Although to was somewhat hard, as Korado continued to talk, and she felt a rare spark of annoyance. He pointed out the obvious, yet didn't seem to actually give any reason beyond 'they're here so they fight'. Obviously there was more to it than what he claimed. "It's not stubbornness, it's selfishness and greed. They both want more than they need. They have what they desire already, but don't realise it yet." She points out to him. "The saiyans have laid claim to half the planet, as have the tuffles. The Saiyans have no right to continue to aggressively invade the tuffles, just as the tuffles don't have the right to attempt to force the Saiyans off anymore. This is their home too now, and both need to come to realise that. Separating them and leaving them only with what they currently have will show them that."
The Shinjin sighs, looking up at the ruined and dilapidated skyscrapers. "But... Sorry. I didn't mean to rant. And if you don't want to stay here to try and fix it, I respect that. Lets um... lets find you a ship? There probably is one around here." She begins to float a little further up, squinting and peering around for something that might look like an old spaceport, or a particularly large and formerly rich looking house. Sadly, it was to no avail.
Korado nodded, "No, I didn't mean to say that you're weak. I used this device actually to see your power." He points to his scouter. "You are very strong no doubt, I have just seen a few saiyans that were really strong too. Though I guess you might have more power you just not using it. No reason too since there is no fight going on right now." Korado nodded. Still, Phakk explained how these people were just greedy. She spoke about how the saiyans didn't have the right to push the tuffles off the planet but the tuffles didn't have the right to turn and throw the saiyans off the planet. Korado nodded, "Right, I agree with you on that. The idea that neither of them should be allowed to force each other off the planet." Korado rubbed his head.
Still despite all of this, he was not sure Phakk idea would work. She must have been really confident in her power to force everyone to separate. Sure if that happened, maybe it could help but did she really think she could do it? She was stronger than most no doubt, but he had little doubts that she was trying to bite a little more than she could chew. Anyway, she focused on the fact that maybe she could help him find a ship. Korado nodded, "That is nice but I actually already got a ship. Mostly I just need to grab scraps to help me build up a ship. If you want to help me out with that, then that would be most appreciated." Korado bowed his head in respect to Phakk.
"Wait. So you... a-already have a ship? But... you need... things to build a ship? What?" Phakk had to admit, she was a little confused by what Korado was saying. But maybe it was aa tuffle thing? She had heard that their tech was lightyears ahead of all other races, so maybe they needed extra things to make one of their own ships. That sounded right in her head, at least. "O-oh, you don't need t-t-to bow! I'll happily h-help! What um... what s-sort of things are you after?" She waves her hands to frantically get him to stop bowing his head to her, the woman experiencing a flush of heat across her cheeks in embarrassment. She had just invited him to help her, and yet he was the one bowing his head? Talk about rude of her! It was enough to earn a small groan of embarrassment from the woman, who returns the bow despite her own words.
"I-I'm not very strong, b-but I can keep an eye out? If you just need normal metal, I th-think over there might work." She points towards what looked to be a partially collapsed, dome like building. It looked to have once perhaps been an amphitheatre of a sorts, but nowadays its very peak was caved in, as if something large and heavy had hit it, and it was listing to the side. Its supports, a series of interlocked and criss-crossing iron bars, were twisted and rusted, unable to hold up such weight and resulting in the dome like structure to have slightly collapsed into a nearby parking lot. "Th-there's p-p-probably a l-lot of metal there." She murmurs to Korado.
"I mean that I have a ship made but I still might need a few more things. Basically, just the frame and engine stuff are done but there other parts I still need to do. Parts that I have less experience with. Also the last time I made two ships they broke apart once hitting terminal velocity. Therefore, I decided I need to create the ship with extra shielding." He of course also needs the coolant that Cheri had suggested but that part they probably not find much for that. As for the bowing part, she told him he didn't need to bow. He looked up, "Uh..right sorry." It seemed that really embarrassed her. He didn't mean to do that. He just felt it was the right thing to do.
Anyway, Phakk was a really odd person, as before she had been really collected but now she seemed pretty shaky on her words. Now she seemed to be doubting her strength. Of course, Korado had sort of done that but it was more in the context of overcoming an entire planet. She was no doubt very powerful. As for metal, she suggested one of the ruined buildings nearby. It did indeed have a lot of metal from the looks of it. "Right I'll take a look." Korado began to walk over as he spoke, "So what brought you to plant. You said earlier you are new to the planet. Was it just the goal to create peace or did you have something else in mind." Korado might as well ask, he thought they were was little reason for anyone to willingly come to this planet.
"O-oh! I think I get it. R-r-right, yeah, that makes more sense. Heh." Phakk blinks, nodding in realisation. Yeah. How could she have missed that? Honestly? it prompted something of an embarrassed blush on her face once again, the Shinjin looking away to spare herself from having Korado notice. Come on, Phakk! Remember to think. Although her embarrassment was readily killed once she registered the last part of his sentence. "They broke up? How... how did you survive?" She asks, blinking at the Tuffle. Not even she could survive the depths of space. At least, i her current state. Admittedly the woman wasn't sure what she was capable of, but the point remained. Phakk was pretty sure that tuffles didn't survive the vacuum... Maybe she was part Oni? Like Meister?
Floating her way over to the ruined amphitheatre with Korado, she blinks and glances down towards him at his question. Why had she come to Plat? Well... she would have liked to end the horribleness, off course,. But also... there had been another reason, right? It wasn't her war. Why was... why was she he- "Kh!" Phakk's mind began to tremble in pain as the Darkness surged, interrupting her train off thought, the woman clamping her hands to her head in an effort to ward off the pain and sinking in the air somewhat. "S-..." She starts, swallowing. "Sorry. Um... Uh. I... came mostly t-to stop the war. It's starting t-to... to spread out." Her words were halting, as if only coming to her in the moment. "And... something should be done. It's a responsibility of my people to... to guide the mortals..." Right? Is... is that why she was here?
Korado glanced back as Phakk really seemed embarrassed by all of this stuff. Guess she was not that tech-savvy. Few were of course. He should be careful to use language that is easier to understand or just be more clear about what he meant. He was being pretty loose with his terminology right now. She then asked how he survived as Korado glanced, "Well I got lucky both times being near planet orbits. And I did make them pretty sturdy. But I honestly should have died both times. Guess I got graced some good luck." His life had a lot of bad luck so maybe it was finally balanced out in this situation. Then again, good luck would have been not crashing in the first place. That would have been preferred.
Korado then began to gather the metal as Sickle was watching Phakk. He noticed her holding her head and looking pretty much in pain while Korado was fully focused on collecting what he needed. Sickle tapped Korado as he looked back to Phakk but she was fine by the time he looked back. Phakk explained she had come to stop the war as it was spreading out. He had not seen that but he was also not focused not the war effort. Were the Tuffle and Saiyans making plays off-world to gain support? That would make the war much more messy and result in far more people dying. But the last part was interesting. It was her job to guide the mortals. Did that mean she was not a mortal being? Korado was confused by that and decided to of course ask what was that all about, "Are you some sort of god or something?" Korado didn't believe much in gods but how Phakk had been talking before and now this? Maybe she was some sort of godly being.
