Hazel's legs were giving out just as Yangcong caught her, her skin would nearly feel like she was a flame as she leaned on his cool skin, she was too exhausted to deny his advances, even tiredly smiling at him as he grabbed her chin, but it quickly faltered at his outrageous suggestion, with the little strength she had she pushed him away. She actually looked disgusted at him, then laughed at him like she had many times before, though it did fade into a weak chuckle as she collapsed to her knees,
"With a mortal like you? I had demonic royalty begging at my feet for offspring, what really makes you think you're worthy??"
She growled while laughing, did he really think she would understand his plight? She was truly a cold creature, she didn't understand any pain of loss other than her own life. She would lean back placing a clawed foot on his face to prevent him from touching her,
"Your past is your past, keep it to yourself. And I've only given you SOME power, if you plan to protect me from my enemies you surely don't have that power yet. Even I was stronger than you are now."
A sick adist smile slithered onto her face and her eyes glowed with joy from belittling him.
He'd had chuckle, taking it as a joke rather than an insult. He would push her foot out of the way and beagan to mount on top of her as he entered his transformation state. Getting more bulky in size and shape as he looked down at her with a grin.
"I can crush anyone with my power. Even you..."
He'd attempt to grab her by the throat as he started to put a little bit of a squeeze to it.
"And this mortal is your favorite huh? Tell me Hazel, if i'm your favorite. Tell me why..."
He'd let her go and still was on top.
"I want to know why you have an interest in me. Do you really care about me or do you care about the protection more than anything? If I wasn't worthy you wouldn't have let me done the things that I have done to you."
He'd stare at her in the eyes, getting up from her and walking away with his arms to his back. Perhaps choosing her was the wrong option. He'd look out at the atmosphere of space as the ship continued to drive. He wonder if he was just simply a tool to her.
For a moment she would be startled trying to back away before he grabbed her, but there was something different when he squeezed her neck, he would feel the pressure as well,
"Do so and you break our contract, trust me you won't survive it,"
Despite her smug tone there was an undertone of fear, she was in a highly weakened state and he just powered up, easily a worrying situation after trusting him earlier. She looked at him confused, when he babbled on about being her favorite, starting to wonder if she hit him too hard in the back of the head the last time.
"Are you really that dense? Truly? What interest I had? It was consuming you, you reek of the sins you've done, it was delicious! Of course you're a tool for survival! Are you stupid?"
She tired to struggle to her feet hating feeling physically lower in statue to who she was arguing with,
"Like you don't do the same? Use me as a tool for your weak specie's survival by requesting an offspring from me?! Worthy? That was another way my species FEED, hell it used to be the only way I used to feed until I decided they didn't deserve that anymore and I started to consume them a whole to take their entire life force!"
Despite her anger, she still smiled while speaking of taking their entire life force,
"Did you really think a demon would understand your kind and your plights? We don't even know what love is, just survival."
She sighed it out losing steam when black veins spread downwards from her eyes over ivory skin, she was at a critical low as her breathing became more ragged but despite her speech on survival she didnt ask him for help, looking away from him instead.

She had a point, he really didn't know the intended affects of not finishing the ritual that they had signed together. more so, he didn't know what he would do without her. He then so easily towered her again and being much more strong and taller than her gave him the clear advantage.
"So you did all this just to eat me huh. Then go right ahead."
He would proceed to give her his right arm for her to bite off.
"Here's your chance. Take it."
He waited for her to react, wondering if she would really go for it. He wasn't sure whether or not she was telling the truth, but he would still wonder if she would still proceed with it and try to eat his arm.
"You don't know what love is, then I can show you what love is. If you really wanted to eat me, you would have done it to me while we slept. So I really don't know what you are waiting for. So if you want my arm go ahead. Give in to your demonic desires."
He'd step closer to her as he had his forehead against hers.
"As much as you want to deny it. I'm becoming more and more like a demon and you know that."
He would show his tongue at her, that would then morph to a snake as it slithered close to her mouth as the snake started to calmly hiss at her. He wondered what she would do...
Hazel growled while she glared at him, shoving a verbal spike into him, "I can't consume or hurt anyone of the dirty snakes, it's the contract I have with Derry. Seriously how are you so dumb? Did my blood not fix your dementia?" Making it seem like she had no emotional attachment to him at all. Although in truth she did dislike him less than most mortals but his tactlessness was forever surprising and pushiness was a deterrent to the freewilled Demoness.
"I'm bettering you because that's our contract, that's what YOU wanted, I can't break our deal anymore than you. Seems official to improve allies strength, don't you think?"
Again she laughed at him coughing as she did, "You really think you're a demon now because you drank a little blood? Nothing about you is a demon, the blood is only unlocking existing untapped potential, I'm not a fucking jinn," Her arms shook while they tried to support her, she turned her head away from him, side eyeing him coldly, "Remember your place mortal……." She felt Nally collapsed completely her consciousness fading out slowly as she struggled to stay awake, while more black veins spread up her arms, she could go to the smaller form to keep her self from the pain but at this moment she was wary of him.
He'd recoil his tongue back into his mouth as she continued to speak ill of him. He stared at her and then just walked away from her. If he wasn't bounded by her and needed her, he would have killed her by now. Sadly enough, she was worth keeping around if it meant power in the end. As she saw her collapse, it was clear to him that she was still weak from that last attack and since he didn't where she she kept her vials of his blood. He would proceed to slice his wrist and he grabbed her by her throat and forced her mouth open. He would proceed to pour the blood into her mouth, hoping it would be enough to wake her up. As much as she wanted to talk shit, she needed him just like he needed her. Hopefully it would be enough blood to wake her up as he just stood over her as the blood kept pouring out.
"Come on my dear, wouldn't want you to die out here in a place like this? Now wake up already so we can continue to argue. I'm not done with this conversation and I expect neither are you."
Hazel's eyes fluttered back open as warm crimson liquid graced her dry mouth, like predator instinct, she automatically latched teeth into his arm, she could feel a similar pressure in her arm, snapping her out of her daze, she quickly released him her eyes hiding slight panic as she dug through a bag she brought, pulling out a familiar vial, her anti-venom. She marched back over shoving it into his hand as she stood and walked to her seat. She was eerily quiet despite her normally talkative nature, a part of her seething with unlying rage. She crossed her arms while tapping her tail in clear frustration, if he approached her she would give him a very cross look, while holding up her hand,
"Get away from me before I cause both of our deaths," her tone of voice echoed. She was far more than just displeased with him right now.
"When we get back, don't talk to me until you're next dose, you are obviously misconstruing our contract for a relationship, god you mortals are clingy."
Her voice was firm and absolute, as she turned her head away to look out to the stars as they traveled home, but the reflection showed black veins still running from her eyes as her angry seethed under the surface.
207 // 3,639 // Exit // 12 postHe had received the anti venom from her again as he took it. It seemed like she was angrier than usual. As he tried getting closer she would speak to him. The look on her face and what she had said had truly gotten to him. Clearly Yangcong had seen the contract as a relationship instead. He shook his head as he just couldn’t believe he could allow himself to think that way. He would give her, her space and allowed her to be by herself for the remainder of the ride. He would head over to the mirror in the bathroom and just stared at himself.
He had allowed his emotions to get the better of him like that. He had sighed to himself and pulled a picture from his pocket. The picture was the last and only photo of his newborn and wife at the hospital. He muttered to himself harshly as he placed the photo back in his pocket.
Instead of sleeping on the queen size bed, he opted to sleeping on the floor and to just give her the bed to sleep in. He rested his eyes and finally got some decent sleep from it. All he thought about was counting sheep.
