Crotona VS Pracross

As Pracross was removing the weights, Crotona responded to his remark as if he had offended her, causing the boy to shake his hands. “N-no, that’s not what I meant!” The Saiyan said with a nervous tone. “Monster is an expression, it means you’re, like, super scary good!” The boy slapped his forehead. “Not like actual scary, like comparison scary, like you have a lot of- Oh, nevermind.” As the boy dropped the leg weight onto the floor, the Konatsian asked what he was doing and this was no time to be removing clothes. “It’s weighted gear. It helps me keep my strength to a lower level, but seeing as how you’ve powered up, I see no reason to hinder myself any longer.”

With the weights removed, Pracross began to roll his arms. Not only was Crotona’s patience appreciated, but it gave the two a small bit of recovery time. With his breath caught up to speed, the Saiyan was ready to take the brunt of Speed Demon to be able to dig deep and find that anger. It seemed that patience had just run out, as the Elf shot forward just as Pracross’ lightning began to spark out again, allowing him to meet the Elf just enough in speed.

Dodging her opening cut, Pracross leapt to the side, unable to take a risk with being so close to the edge. However, Crotona wasn’t done, swiping blow after blow to try and corner the boy again. Running backwards and angling himself in a circle, Pracross tried his best to avoid being hit, but a good few of the sword swipes cut him up with cuts. Hissing in pain, Pracross knew he’d have to make a move to avoid falling victim to her assault. As the Elf made for a higher slice, the boy ducked down and slammed a palm into the floor, throwing his leg at the enemy in an attempt to trip her. However, while Pracross’ speed increased, his strength was still half of his opponent’s, meaning he’d still need to keep himself on high guard.

Pracross Used His [UT] Speed Demon to match Crotona's speed!

Crotona glanced as Pracross said that not what he meant, "Whatever you said. It was still super rude." Now he was even calling her scary? Her scary? What was scary about her. Oh, wait those monsters might scare people. It must have been really odd to see and things that people saw as odd would become fearful. Then Pracross explained that what he was taking off was training weight. Crotona narrowed her eyes. She was not sure how much these things weighed but would Pracross be able to match her power now? She transformed, and this human was using weights? She had to wonder how serious this guy was taking this. Well whatever, she was going to assume Pracross was going all out so there was no need for her to hold back.

Crotona launched forward but Pracross was able to dodge her blows. Her follow out blows did not good either. Pracross was really fast now, 'maybe he'd just fast as I am?' Crotona was a bit annoyed, it seemed even by powering up the gap in power had not actually changed. Guess that made the fight pretty even. She smiled at the thought, she needed to stop being so negative. This was a fun experience, she was too focused on trying to win. Crotona moved forward as she saw Pracross tried to trip her. Crotona fell back but she landed on one hand. She glanced, this guy was fast but he had so far only dodged and gone for a trip. Pracross could not keep her at bay forever. She kicked off the ground swinging the sword down towards Pracross and aim the sword with another barrage of strikes, 'I'm sure he's got a weakness I just need to find it.'

Crotona VS Pracross

Pracross managed to pull off the trip attack on the Konatsian, allowing him just a moment to process the upcoming moments. Pracross’ could feel some of his energy returning, but at the same time, his body was starting to pain under the pressure of the constant use of Speed Demon. No doubt that if he kept it up, he would find himself unable to keep fighting. If only he were as pained as the previous times… He knew he couldn’t rely on anger, so the Saiyan knew he’d need to rely on something else, but what? Surely she wouldn’t let another Cosmic Cannon slip her by a second time.

The Konatsian wasn’t out for long unfortunately. She had managed to catch herself on the floor and use that to carry out her swings, which Pracross knew he could only afford one more wave of onslaught before he’d have to cut Speed Demon dry. It was time to think, and quick. Crotona made a few slashes, which Pracross instead opted to deflecting instead, cutting the use of his speed demon down to not cost him more energy than needed. It didn’t go without punishment though. Blocking a sword with your hands was painful and Pracross ended up with far more cuts that the previous assault. However, he was able to meet his opponent head on this time, meaning he’d have a chance to get his revenge.

As the Elf swiped wide on a blow, Pracross attempted to ram his forehead into the alien’s nose, followed by hopping back and firing a sea of ki blasts to block her from forwarding and maybe garnering a lucky hit or two. Regardless of her advances, Pracross cut the tap on his speed technique, causing the lightning to stop. In a last ditch effort to pull out his rage, Pracross began to think back to his home and the war on it, the mentors he had failed to meet and impress, the chance this tournament would be for him. It didn’t spark anything, not yet at least. It seemed he was going on his last legs.

Pracross uses Speed Demon to help block an attack, then cuts it off to avoid over-exertion!

Crotona rushed forward as Pracross was deflecting some of the sword strikes. That was really interesting, she was not sure why he thought it was a good idea. But guess that was the best option he had in this situation. As she was swigging Pracross head came forth to try to slam in her head. But she just brought her head to match to go head to head with Pracross. It hurt smashing her head into Pracross but it was better then having her nose smashed. Though considering his speed, Pracross didn't seem that strong from. The ki blasts that flew at her into her but she deflected most of them with her sword. One of the blast did hit her but she pushed forward. 'He'd fast but he does not have a lot of power? this is really odd.' well it was not as if he was weak but she had increased her strength fourfold. Even though Pracross speed matched her own the power did not. That meant she needed to do one powerful blow right. Crotona rushed forward with all her speed to reach Pracross. She lifted the blade over her head ki surrounded the weapon. "Take this!" She swung the blade down to break into the arena and smash Pracross in the floor. Hopefully that be enough to catch Pracross off guard and take him down!

Pracross was surprised that Crotona would counter his headbutt with one of her own. No doubt both of their heads were pounding as a result, at least Pracross assumed. His head was splitting, but that attack would have only had value if it was direct, meaning the whole thing was a bust. When he fled to the edge of the stage to buy himself with ki blasts, even that idea would fall flat. Crotona was gaining confidence, running through the barrage with her sword to cover her attack. It wouldn’t take her long to realize he didn’t have much left in him from here.

The Elf made her way up to the Saiyan and raised her blade to the sky, aiming to slam the entire thing onto him with a ki consumed blade. Dammit, I can’t afford more strain. I gotta rely on my natural speed! Pracross thought, crouching down to prepare himself to move. As Crotona shot the blade down, Pracross would vanish into a mirage of his previous self, moving so quick as so the audience couldn’t catch his movement. When the crowd would manage to catch him again, the Saiyan would be revealed to be behind Crotona. “I’m not out just yet!” He shouted, running at the Konatsian. As he cut the distance between them, the Saiyan would hop up and prop up his legs to drop kick the elf, hoping to knock her off balance.

Pracross uses his Afterimage to avoid Crotona's attack!

Crotona kept moving forward not allowing Pracross to escape. She was gaining on Pracross and she seemed to be him right in the perfect spot. Once her blow landed then she could hopefully knock Pracross right out of the ring. Crotona moved forward swinging her sword up but as she was about to hit, Pracross was to avoid the attack with a burst of speed. "What the heck, you are really fast!" Crotona slowly turned over to see where Pracross went but he was moving with superhuman speed. Crotona tilted her head as she heard Pracross's voice behind her. Crotona was kicked in the back knocking her off balance as she began to step forward near the edge of the arena. "W..woah!" Crotona tiptoed back to get herself back in place.

Crotona turned to face Pracross. "How can you keep dodging you're so fast!" Crotona was so confused. Pracross speed was super fast but his power was lacking. Guess he was all about being fast. Still, Crotona was really not sure how to handle this. Crotona raised her blade as her small statues began to glow. The one of her father flared once more as Belial slowly formed over her body. She was going to have to attack with her Belial again. "Belial let's attack again!" The Demon lurched up with its ax and sword. The two weapons came down to smash into Pracross and blast him to the ground. "Let's see you dodge this!"

Belliel: Spectral Chop (Medium) | 3 KP 50% Attack |

The Charm of Belial is activated, summoning Belial who rips a spectral sword from his body and swings at a nearby foe. Can also be enchanted to Crotona Blade to swing at things instead.

Pracross did manage to hit the Elf in the back, almost knocking her over the side. Unfortunately his strength was not enough to finish the job. Backing up to keep his distance, Pracross stood in the center of the ring. His enemy asked how he was so fast, which made the boy smirk. “I’m not known as the fastest Saiyan in the universe for nothin’!” He said confidently, though there weren’t many people who recognized him for that title. He wasn’t going to admit that here, though.

It seemed that Crotona had finished playing around, reaching under her coat once more for one of the strange idols. Pracross knew that if those things fed off of her power, then there was no way he was going to be able to avoid it. Instead, Pracross would need to take it and hope it didn’t kill him on impact. Surely she wouldn’t attempt that due to the rules, but the monster didn’t feel as though it cared. As the undead demon rose from behind the Konatsian, Pracross would raise his arms, clenching his teeth and prepared himself for hell.

As the axe slammed down onto the Saiyan, Pracross felt himself almost immediately black out from the pain. The axe slammed through his guard and sent a large gash through his chest. The boy locked up, stunned by the pain. His muscles, his bones, even his brain were all screaming in agony due to the pain. The Saiyan fell to a slump onto the axe, staring at the floor as he fought to stay conscious. Was this it? Did he lose…?

Something boiled within the boy, causing Pracross to recoil. He stepped back off the axe, clenching his fists. “No…” he muttered, slowly adjusting himself to standing position. “No! I’m not out yet! I refuse to lose!” The Saiyan got into a charging pose, his energy rising as his anger grew. A sudden burst of pride and rage had overtaken him, the memories finally starting to flow. “I’ve got too much to lose by giving up here. I won’t lose, not here, not to you!” Pracross let out a roar, his purple aura firing up to be twice his size.

Pracross began to march towards the Konatsian, trudging through the dust as a ball of energy appeared in his hands. “I plan on finding a mentor. I didn’t search for the past year, almost dying time and time again, just to give up now.” The Saiyan growled, slowly raising the ball to be angled at the Konatsian. “Now let’s see you dodge this.” Pracross would shoot forward and attempt to grab the Elf by the shirt, attempting to toss her toward the main building of the fighting center in a last ditch to keep himself from hurting any watchers. Regardless, the boy would release the energy in a beam, aiming to take out the Elf once and for all.

Pracross tanks Belial's attack, taking 125% damage, surviving mostly due to Impossible Recovery!
Pracross activates Saiyan Pride (+10% to techniques while at 100% damage) and Wrathful (x5)!
Pracross burned his MP, using Transformation boost and taking him to a x6!
Pracross Uses Cosmic Blast (50+10%) for 28,800 PL!

"Fastest Saiyan in the universe?" This guy was the fastest saiyan in the universe? She was pretty sure that was a bluff but what if it was not a bluff. Guess that mean Crotona was as least tied for the fastest saiyan in the universe! That is awesome! Anyway, Crotona swung her sword Bellial coming to and swinging with all her might. She watched as the attack hit head on and it looked really painful. He was cut open by the axe and now Crotona was really worried. Crotona was worried that she killed Pracross. He had been pretty fast but if his strength was anything in line with his speed, then Crotona was not sure he'd be able to take the blow that well. Crotona didn't move into attack. Crotona just kept her blade ready as she waited to see if Pracross was ok. Hopefully he'd get up and surrender. She was not sure she had the stomach to hurt this guy anymore.

Sadly for her, Pracross got up and he seemed really mad. Guess he didn't want to lose. Something how he had given up a lot to get here. Crotona frowned, was this guy fighting for something. She had just been finding for fun. Maybe she just surrender. But uh she didn't think she'd have a chance at the guy was really cross. Crotona kept the blade raised as she focused her aura. Seems it was going to be their final clash. She was not sure how much time their was left. Crotona felt sweat come down her forehead before Pracross went to grab her and throw her. She didn't even get a chance to stop it. That how much Pracross speed and power seemed to increase. Regardless, Crotona rocketed into the air towards the building. She kept herself angled towards the ring as the beam came towards her. "Oh...come on." Crotona raised her blade up.

"Bellial: Chop!" She resoummoned Bellial once more as her aura flared, considering that big aura that Pracross created his power must of increased a lot. She would need to increase her power. She dug deep drawing as much energy as she could. The Axe Bellial made grew as he swung forth smashing into the beam but the beam overwhelmed her. She was hit by the full blast and slammed into the arena floor making a large crater. Crotona had angled herself to land at the edge. Just enough where she didn't fall off. Crotona slowly pushed herself up blood coming of her mouth. It hurt a lot. But honestly she felt something deep down she never felt before. She was enjoying this. The thrill of a fight. She never been in a fight like this where she was fighting for something so important. She had tough spars but never a real fight. Crotona got up planting her feet as blood came down her face. "I'm not done yet." She was in trouble though being at the edge, it was still possible she'd be ringed out.

Pracross’ energy continued to increase, stopping only when he had released his attack. The attack had gone mostly as he had envisioned it, throwing the Konatsian and firing the beam, which would be met by some form of counter attack. Crotona had called Belial again to slice the beam in half, but the power was overwhelming. Now Pracross could feel a power gap between the two. Both were badly injured, but after so long being in Crotona’s shadow, now Pracross had the extreme advantage. He might be able to rely on his base speed alone to out maneuver the elf.

After being bombarded with a deadly beam, the Konatsian managed herself back onto her feet with her sword held high. The Saiyan tossed a glance to the timer. There was only a minute left. They’d need to wrap this up quickly if they wanted to decide a winner on knock out or ring out. “I hope you’re ready, cause I’m not going to take it easy on you.” Pracross said, letting his aura grow as his energy began to rise. Moving like a bullet in the eyes of his opponent, the boy would attempt a punch onto the Konatsian’s shoulder, following it up with a vengeful knee for her jaw.

Crotona got up breathing hard as she looked towards Pracross. He seemed ready to go still. He was not going to allow her to get away so easily. But there seemed to be a light time left. Crotona heard him speak as his aura raised, it seemed he was a lot stronger now. Crotona rushed towards Pracross, she knew that if she waited on the edge she'd easily get knocked off. She had no time to sit around and see what happened. As he moved through, Pracross seemed to vanish. She only realized where he was when a punch slammed into her shoulder causing her severe pain and then a knee that slammed into her jaw. Crotona staggered back and fell to a knee holding her jaw. That really hurt. He was really strong, what was she supposed to do? Could she win? Even if she won it'd probably be ring out or time out. There was no way she'd knock out Pracross. Crotona got up once more raising her blade, "This may be just for sport but I can't give up. That wouldn't be fair at all." Crotona launched forward swinging her sword at Pracross. She knew she had no chance right now but her father and mother never taught her to run away. That meant she just needed to push forward!

Crotona got winded by Pracross’ successive attacks, staggering back. The Saiyan was surprised though, despite the new level of strength between them, she still charged at him to attack him before he had gone for his own move. Even after, the Elf stood up tall and raised her blade, talking about not giving up. If Pracross were in his right mindset, he would have loved to ask her to try sparring again after the tournament. Someone who loved battle and had such a unique move set would make a great training partner. Even in his prideful rage, Pracross couldn’t help but smirk.

“Let’s end on a high note.” He said, getting once more into a fighting position. This time, Pracross ran forward and tried to slide right past, aiming an elbow at the Konatsian’s back, cutting the distance and letting her have the greater total of the arena. “Now get ready, cause this next one’s comin’ at you with everything I have!” The boy shouted, returning back into the position to start up his cosmic cannon. He was charging his energy up, but he didn’t want to fire until his opponent was ready themselves. Maybe this would be a good time for a counter attack from Crotona? Or did she want to save up to meet the beam when Pracross decided to fire it?

Crotona sighed as she charged forward. She was getting tired as her attacks didn't land. An elbow instead slammed in her back knocking her down. "Guha." Crotona slammed down right on her head before leaping back skidding across the ground. She saw that Pracross was cupping his hands, just like that last attack he used. The cosmic. Whatever it was. Point was getting hit especially with the increase in power Pracross seemed to have, it would not be good at all. She pushed herself up raising her blade trying to figure out what to do. She needed a way to defeat him right now before he fired the beam. She looked at the arena floor, that was it. Crotona swung her sword into the arena floor to cut it down the middle. Even if it didn't cut she'd still send a powerful ki enchanted slash to cover Pracross view. If it did break the arena that would mess up Pracross footing. The point though to was draw Pracross focus away. Crotona ran to the left and rushed with her sword. She went to rush forward towards Pracross and blindside him to kick Pracross towards outside the ring so she could force Pracross to fire his blast down and destroy his own footing. It was a desperate gambit but she was in a desperate situation.

Pracross could feel his energy reach its peak once more. There was no more holding back from here, but what of his opponent? Crotona seemed to be struggling to keep up, but he was hoping for the last minute, she would still put her metal to the metal. As Pracross called forth the four point star once more, he looked his opponent in the eyes. His enemy had raised her sword into the air and coated it in ki once more. Another slam attack? But the distance between them was rather large. Did she intend to cut it? Pracross could just fire now and block her from advancing. No, she wouldn’t be that careless.

Pracross stared down the blade, watching as the Konatsian slammed the sword into the ground, sending a crack down the center of the stadium. Was she giving up? That felt uncharacteristic after saying she’d give it her all. Pracross was about to give a cocky remark when he felt the ki rise from the blade and release in a large arc through the crack, forcing a block and breaking formation. Sighing as he shook of the surprise, Pracross realized he had barely felt the blow. It had forced him to back step closer to the edge, but the pain was a light sear at worst.

Now with a bit more of a braver mind set and look of determination, Pracross gave Crotona a smile as he put his hands in a circle once more, the wind from his growing aura flowing through his hair and clothes. “I gotta say, it’s been fun, but I think this is it.” The star began to grow, touching the inner circle of his hands and giving the Saiyan a growing shadow as it grew brighter and brighter. The clock was counting down, so he couldn’t afford to hold it any longer, but the attack took time to charge. It was all up to these next few seconds.

Crotona swung her blade down but it barely moved Pracross down and he seemed to be ready to keep going. She was not able to even get the chance to knock him in the air. It was really not good at all. She was not in a good spot to say the least. Crotona was pretty sure there was not much else she could do. Crotona though was still not going to give up she just had to find an opening. This guy had to have some sort of weakness. Plus he seemed pretty cocky that this was the end. Crotona leaped back raising her blade. She was wracking her brain to figure out some way to get out of this situation. She just decided she just needed to just take Pracross's attack and then take him down. Crotona raised her blade pointing it towards Pracross before moving it to guard herself. She would use her other arm pulling out the statue of her mother. She had showed two her monsters abilities but she still had one more. She needed to block this attack then strike back. That was on her only chance, "Lets see what you got. I got my own tricks myself. So don't think it is over just yet!" Crotona waited for Pracross's attack.

Crotona VS Pracross

Pracross - Saiyan - 8,000 PL

1/6 KP - 5/6 MP - 125% - Wrathful (x5)

It seemed Crotona was truly ready. Not only did she reclaim her sword, but she called for the Saiyan to attack. Giving a nod, the Saiyan let the purple aura rise to it’s limit. He poured all of his last remaining energy into the star, almost instinctively letting lightning coat him as the Speed Demon technique acted. It did not raise his speed, at least not noticeably, but it always seemed to appear in his strongest attacks.

The star transformed into a ball of ki, which the Saiyan ripped in two for a second time. “Then let me see your last surprise.” Pracross shouted as he slammed the ki back into each other, recreating the singular orb into a far larger shape then before. “Here it comes! Cosmic Cannon!” Throwing his palms forward, the beam streamed forward, no doubt eating away at the stage as it rocketed to it’s target. As it moved, the white wisps floated off the attack and those same purple rings rippled off, showing off in a display that could be seen from even outside the arena as it darkened the nearby area. From the other side, Pracross would watch his opponent’s energy, watching carefully for any fluctuations in his opponent’s energy, making sure to cut the tap off if it managed to knock out his opponent, but even now, Pracross has a feeling she might make it to the end.

Pracross uses Cosmic Cannon! 36,000 (80+10%) PL heading towards Crotona! Intended to KO from Critical Damage!
