APPEARANCE:
BACKGROUND:
Quila Splot was a shy, but bright young lady who loved seeing the brighter things in life. She adored many things such as sweets, animals, and superhero comics. But what she loved the most, was helping others the best she could. From babysitting to tutoring to even walking innocent elderly people across the street among many other things, Quila just loved helping the people around her neighborhood in East City.
Unfortunately, helping others would soon lead to this woman’s demise…
On one busy afternoon, Quila was peacefully walking down a sidewalk until she noticed a woman walking by with folders in hand. The woman tripped over a crack on the sidewalk, and fell over, dropping her folders which had papers spilling out. Quila rushed over to the woman and helped her up before helping the woman pick her papers up. The helpful redhead then saw one of the papers lying in the middle of the road and went for it, believing that it was safe to do so...but she was wrong...deadly wrong.
As she picked the paper up in her hand, Quila heard a loud “Look out!” come from the woman followed by the loud honking of a horn. It all happened so fast, far too fast for Quila to react. She was struck by a vehicle going at great speeds...The injuries were far too severe to recover from….
This was the end of Quila’s story...but the beginning of another.
Doctor Whiskey Splot, a former scientist for a no longer active robotics/machines company...and the father of the late Quila Splot was not going to give up on his little girl so easily. He couldn’t save his wife years prior to this...but he wasn’t going to allow himself to fail his only daughter next. The body of Whiskey’s daughter was too far gone to recover, but he was able to achieve her brain. He could not repair Quila’s body with a few cybernetic attachments, so he thought of doing the next best thing, make a completely new body for his daughter’s brain.
Whiskey did not have the resources to properly build a new body, and was at a loss on how to do this until he remembered a certain project that was being done at this company before going inactive….
Project W.A.R….
Walking Arsenal Robot….
The company was working to create a robot, a machine capable of adapting as well as going up against those far more powerful than the ordinary earthling, specifically enemies who can harness ki. The plan was to create armies of these for the use of the military to defend the earth. The designs went through many changes before settling on a more humanoid design. The company was able to create one...but found themselves running out of resources to truly complete it and ended up going inactive. W.A.R’s original purpose may be lost...but it will still have some use.
Still having access to the abandoned company, Whiskey would start to sneak in and begin working on W.A.R, but for the intention of bringing his daughter back. He would slowly change the droid’s appearance to perfectly match his late daughter with some minor differences like her eye color. The incomplete parts of W.A.R would be filled in with things related to Quila. Whiskey could not get rid of the weaponry that was already installed into this droid or it would run the risk of her not working properly, so the best he could do was suppress those parts. This went on for months, but eventually, the process was complete.
W.A.R was complete! But there was one more piece that needed to solidify this…
Whiskey still had his daughter’s brain, perfectly preserved for this day...but then the scientist noticed something….something he was too blind to notice back then because of his desire of getting his daughter back. Even with these changes, a brain could not be placed into this machine. W.A.R was never designed for something like that. Devastated and utterly destroyed, Whiskey tried desperately to find a way around this, some sort of alternative….until he figured it out. He may not be able to place Quila’s brain into the android...but he can still download her mind. But this idea made him think…
Would she be the same person...or would this make her a robotic shell of her former self….?
Soon, Whiskey gave up on reason and just went ahead and did it. With Quila’s brain, Whiskey was able to download the memories in it straight into W.A.R all the way up until Quila’s death.
Thus, Quila was reborn...at least that’s what Whiskey tells himself.
“Quila” was nothing more but a machine pretending to be someone it wasn’t...and isn’t even aware of this itself. Whiskey lied to the droid, telling it that she almost died in a car accident and that he was able to save her with a few cybernetic attachments. “Quila” then continued to live her life as if nothing happened while Whiskey’s guilt slowly ate away at him….all the way to his grave as he took his own life. This devastated “Quila”, making her go through a breakdown that would start to breakdown the suppressions Whiskey placed on the droid, but this wouldn’t be something “Quila” would pick up on until later. “Quila” never found out why Whiskey did this, but she couldn’t let this hold her back. This in fact only increased her desire to help others, and soon she would start discovering certain things about herself…
“Quila” was starting to sense ki and soon after she figured out she could fly. “Quila” assumed that these were part of her cybernetics and after a while, started to get a hang of it. “Quila” then picked up on how durable...and strong she was, only furthering her curiosity on what she could do with these newfound “abilities” and so like in her favorite comics, “Quila” was inspired to don a costume herself and become someone who can truly help others….a superhero!
“Quila” is determined to do right with the “new life” she was given, but she still has much to learn...both about being a hero...and about who she truly is...
