… Wait, Korado was half-tuffle? Why hadn’t he told her in their previous encounter? Of course, with decades of political experience, Cheri’s expression did not falter; for all anyone could tell, she already knew that. But, to think, there were more half-saiyan half-tuffles out there… it was a pleasant reminder that, even after so much war, there were still Vegetans whose selves had not been consumed by it.
A saiyan raised on Earth, that made enough sense. Vegeta wasn’t the only place the Sadalans escaped to, merely where the majority (leadership included) fled to; Earth would be a decent place to escape to because saiyans already highly resembled that planet’s major species and because, in coming over in comparatively small numbers and without headstrong leadership, the want to conquer the planet would be much diminished. Alternatively, it could have just been a Vegetan who escaped Plant because they’d developed the self-awareness to realise it was an inherently toxic and destructive culture, that was also quite possible… actually, it was the only thing that made sense, if they’d buried something in the Saiba Wastes. Dang. One day it would be non-Vegetan saiyans, and what a wonderful day it would be.
”The wastes are not a ‘dead zone’.” The planet was divided, conceptually, in three: the part of the planet controlled by the tuffles (which, due to that area once being called Lychee Sector was called that still, thereby showing the tuffle insistence that, at the end of the day, it wouldn’t be the only tuffle sector), the part controlled by the Vegetans (the eponymous ‘Vegeta Region’ or ‘Vegetan Region’) and the part controlled by no one and, thereby, by the saiba. ”They are where the battles are fought. If you go out there, you risk attack from Vegetans looking for a fight, capture and questioning from tuffles who will assume that you’re a saiyan, mindless attack from all manner of saiba monstrosities and ki-extinguishing destron gas.” Fun fact: destron was attracted to powerful ki signatures and would move towards it to suffocate and ‘eat’ it. ”Are you entirely sure this treasure hunt is worth the risk?”
For, if it was, Cheri wouldn’t need much more to do with the situation.
