Suri's frown persisted as her opponent seemingly took her attacks head on without taking too much damage. The only visible damage done to the purple Majin seemed to be the destruction of her outer layer of clothes. Well, it wasn't like she had put too much power into that attack, so she supposed she should have seen that coming...

Then came Purple's turn to start blastin', and... "What in the-?!" Suri exclaimed in shock as she could both see and sense her opponent's power rising. Suri's expression was grim as the purple Majin let out her battlecry before releasing her attack. For a microsecond there, Suri was befuddled by how small the orb of energy was, but soon felt, realized that the sphere was emitting an impressive amount of energy... Suri tried to fly out of the way, but her eyes widened as the tiny ball quickly grew.

"Th-This power-!"

Suri, in a desperate attempt to shield herself from the detonation, put her left arm in front of herself, and used some of her ki to form a circular, pink shield. "Agh-" Suri let out a pained grunt. Her barrier shattered as the force hit it, and then her body, causing tears and scratches to appear on both her clothes as well as her gumlike flesh. Her left arm took the most damage, all scratched up with the sleeve just having been vaporized instantly. Suri grit her teeth, trying to brave the pain and keep fighting.

Before the dust cleared, Suri made her counterattack. Using her ki sensing to pinpoint Gaffa's location, Suri flew forward, charging straight at her foe. And the first thing she did once she got within 5 meters was...

Uh. Blowing her opponent a kiss. "I-It's not what it looks like!" Indeed it wasn't, as it would soon become evident with the sparkling mixture of ki and magic that came out of Suri's mouth when she did. The unstable energy sped up once it passed over Suri's hand, shooting towards Gaffa's feet like a bullet made of light. It would shine brightly once it hit something, before releasing a concussive blast. This was intended to knock the purple Majin skyward and away from the streets as to avoid any more damage done to their surroundings. If that worked, Suri would fly up to follow.

Woah MAMA!
Suri uses Very Berry Barrier to try to reduce the damage from Gaffa's Guac Rocket.

3,000 (40% of 7,500) vs 5,000, Guac Rocket wins with 2,000 damage bleeding through, dealing 27% to Suri.

As expected, the blue majin wasn't able to get out of the energy sphere's way after it increased in size dramatically. Gaffa huffed at the girl's petty attempt to create a shield of a pinkish hue in order to block the attack, only to be overwhelmed by the cursed energy and having that shield shattered to bits as the sphere hit her. The violent force of the sphere absolutely shredded the girl's sleeve on the arm she had attempted to shield with, along with making rips in not only her clothes but also her flesh. Gaffa couldn't tell through the thick cloud of dust her attack had whipped up, but she assumed that the other majin was feeling pretty worse for wear already.

The warped pleasure of having injured someone badly was short-lived as the dust cloud hadn't even settled before the blue majin came bursting out of it, rushing at her purple attacker. Gaffa got ready to jump out of the away of other finger gun attack, but what came next was really confusing.

Instead of using her fingers to attack like before, instead the blue majin... blew a kiss? The majin swore that it wasn't what it looked like, and lo and behold, as Gaffa sensed the majin's magic bubble up from a hidden source and congregate into a bullet of magical ki that shot faster than the purple majin could follow.

"You little shi-"

Gaffa could feel her legs rupturing from the impact of the magical ki burst, leaving the ground as it struck. She could tell that they were definitely going to be bruised and sore later. Instead of hitting the ground like she expected, though, it was almost like the burst of energy combined with a magical spell had sent Gaffa flying, high above the road below her.

The blue majin was quick to follow, using her ability to fly to catch up to Gaffa's ascent above the streets. Anticipating another attack and needing a way to maneuver in the air as she wasn't able to fly like this other majin, Gaffa stretched her arms at the approaching majin-in-flight, hoping to wrap them around her opponent and latch on for the ride. If she could pull that off, then she'd use her elastic ability to gain momentum in the air by swinging around off Blue. "Alright then, I'll play your way and see how you like it!"

Takes the hit! Gaffa is blown into the air and takes 3,750 damage, equaling 75%. Ouch!

Yes, Suri's attack had landed, and had successfully launched her opponent into the air! Gaffa was awefully good at taking the pain, though, unlike Suri...she wiped away her tears as she gave chase into the skies. A minor, momentary distraction, but a distraction nonetheless. The brief moment her attention went elsewhere was enough for Suri to be caught off-guard by Purple's grab. "Wh- Ah! Woah?!" Suri's flight trajectory got messed up due to Gaffa's continuous swinging, too! Suri was falling, and at this rate, she was going to crash right back down to an area full of civilians. She couldn't have that! Suri also didn't try to shake Gaffa off of her, worried that she might fall right on top of somebody, or something. Suri supposed the purple Majin could start flying, too, but she couldn't risk it, and she even went so far as to try and grab her by the arms!

Suri tried her best to correct her course. While she definitely wasn't going to be able to make it past the outskirts of the city, perhaps she could just manage to make it to... that park over there.

If uninturrupted, Suri would do just that, crashing headfirst into a tree, then two, three, and four as her headbutt busted through trees like they were made of paper mache. And eventually, she'd crash into the ground, the impact forming a crack. "Auuuuugh..." Suri let slip, momentarily dazed by the fall.

...Right, the fight! Suri shook her head, and slowly lifted herself up off of the ground with her flight ability. Suri's eyes and senses would search for the purple Majin, if she had not landed in a place nearby where she could see her.

Gaffa's wild swinging off of the mid-air majin was clearly doing a number on the girl's stability, as she was struggling to stay up in the air. Being pulled every which way by something that weighed as much as you would do that. It seemed like the blue majin was threatening to fall out of the sky, which would end up putting Gaffa back on the ground where she could actually fight properly again. Therefore she kept up with her swinging bullshit, at least until blueberry gum got the bright idea to grab Gaffa by the arms and try to hold her more still as the both of them hurtled towards a park.

As the blue majin would smash her face into the first branch and stumble her way into pretty much every tree that just so happened to line up with each other, Gaffa instead went ahead and wrapped a leg around that first branch. Giving herself that leverage allowed her to stretch out as the majin hadn't released her grip on Gaffa until she eventually crashed into the ground, leaving a large indent in the earth.

Gaffa slingshotted back to the first tree and swung around the branch thanks to the way her leg was wrapped, going back into midair. Down below, she could see the blue majin sorting herself out and rising off the ground once more, scanning the area for where Gaffa would have crashed with her.

What she probably wasn't expecting, however, was Gaffa coming full-speed from the sky. Channeling her cursed energy into her arms until they lit aflame with spicy green flames, she held them ahead of her and braced for the full force of the cannonball impact. "CURRY CRASH!" Gaffa shouted.

She didn't have to shout the attack name, really. As she was channeling the magic, however, she remembered how Erebos had commented that naming attacks helped them to be more impressive. She wasn't sure how accurate that was, but screaming as she smashed her opponent was certainly more satisfying.

Incoming Curry Crash (60% plus a 10% POWER BOOST plus 10% for Restrained Might) for 4,000 damage!
4,500 if Suri attempts to clash!

Suri definitely wasn't expecting Gaffa's energy signature to suddenly flare up in the distance, before rapidly approaching her as the purple Majin rocketed down towards her. Her eyes momentarily widened in shock at the sight of her foe flying at her fist-first, as well as the purple Majin's shout. 'Awh, even has a cool name, too.' was all Suri managed to think before her thoughts were taken over by more pressing matters.

Like the flaming fists forcefully pressing against her face.

And the immense pain that followed as her head was blown apart.

Suri was not aware she could still scream without a mouth. And yet, here she was. From deep within her core, a gutteral, pained scream bled out. The only thing that bled out of her, as Majins had no blood. Only gummy flesh, amorphous and alive. While Suri was aware that she could survive being decapitated, that didn't matter. It still hurt so much it felt like dying anyway.

And yet, even through all that, Suri could think. Even without her head, she had all her limbs to fight. Even without her eyes, she had her instincts to guide her, as well as her ki sense. That sixth sense was telling her that the one that hurt her so badly was...

THAT WAY.

Suri's upper body did a 180, turning around to face her palms toward where Gaffa's energy signature was coming from. One after another, with each swing of an arm, Suri's energy would be expelled in the form of two explosive bursts, aimed to knock her opponent out of sight.

Suri needed time. Time to heal, to recover from both the injury and the agonizing pain it caused.

Suri gets hit with the full force of Curry Crash, taking 53% damage to the face. OOF.

She retaliates with good ol' Kisses Goodbye (40%), sending 3000 damage right on back.

As Gaffa's flaming fists collided with the blue majin, a blood-curdling scream rang out through the park. Gaffa herself fumbled a bit on the landing as she rolled onto the ground and smacked into the base of a tree. Not dizzy enough to not know what's going on around her, though, the majin saw that she had torn the blue-skinned girl's head clean off her body. Specs of blue gum-like tissue were strewn around her, some even still on Gaffa's still-flaming fists. And yet, the girl's body hadn't fallen over.

The screaming hadn't stopped either.

Somehow, in some way, the blue majin was still alive. Gaffa had never seen this happen before; in all her times as a majin, she had experienced torture that bent and twisted all of her limbs in the most painful ways, and even felt herself being ripped from the inside out, but as of yet she still hadn't lost any limbs. Especially not one that would assumedly be so vital as her head. Considering that the majin was the same species as her, however, Gaffa couldn't help but wonder if the same thing could happen to her and she still live through it.

The few moments of the headless blue girl's screams were ear-piercingly horrible. As it went on, the purple majin couldn't help screaming back. "SHUT UUUUUUP!" She stomped her foot on the ground, a burst of green flames exploding from it. "JUST DIEEEEE!" The cursed flames from her fists rode up her arms, burning off whatever was left of her tracksuit from the chaotic violence Gaffa put it through during the fight.

The headless body twisted itself to face Gaffa, as ironic as that is, and with two swings of her arms sent the same type of blasts she had blown from her mouth earlier at the purple majin. Said majin was in the middle of reaching her boiling point. Her anger was rising during the battle as this potential prey proved to be a bigger problem than she expected and pissed her off but she had been trying to keep it down and condensed so Gaffa could continue fighting with some intelligence. And yet the headless girl's screams, reaching deep into Gaffa's core, broke whatever was holding that condensed rage back. It came out of her in the form of burning energy made of the same magical curse Gaffa was comprised of, burning bright and green.

As the magic blasts collided with Gaffa's green rage of fire, the cursed energy whittled their magical strength down to what would hit the purple majin with a fraction of what it could've. She huffed the light pain off, glaring at the headless piece of trash who thought she could pull this shit on her. All Gaffa wanted to do now was try and rip this gummy freak to pieces, and that's what she was going to try to do as she rushed at the decapitated majin in a flaming fury.

This was the second time Suri had felt such pain. She'd lost a limb before, once, when Amara went too far and destroyed her arm during a sparring session. Losing her head, though... It felt off... Wrong, even. It felt like something important was missing from her. She felt disorientated, and vulnurable, having lost the ability to see. That feeling was only amplified by the feeling of her opponent's ki starting to burn only brighter, hotter, and stronger. Suri told, screamed at whatever part of her magical mind that had control over her cells to get to it and start regenerating faster, while her arms tried to fend the threat off... to no avail, it seemed Suri's blasts barely slowed the other Majin down.

In between Suri's screams, there were a few screams that sounded like desperate 'C'mon's and 'Hurry's mixed in. Then those screams became growls and grunts through gritted teeth as the blue Majin regrew the lower half of her face, but just before she was hit with whatever attack Gaffa was about to throw at her. Suri's body would be shredded, most likely torn apart and flung backwards from the sheer force. That would only cause Suri's screams to increase in intensity as her pain did, the sound now leaking from multiple crevasses rather than one.

Unless stopped by something, the blue Majin's sundered body would be ragdolled, flung through tree after tree... until she reached an open area, and a pathway.

With people.

Moments ago, these parkgoers were looking toward the trees, wondering what in Kami's name the commotion was. Now, they'd see. And they'd be horrified.

Gaffa sunk her hands into the headless body of the blue majin and with a burning rage, ripped and tore at it. The girl's clothes were burnt off by the cursed flames running along Majin Gaffa's entire body which only exposed more flesh for the enraged majin to tear into. A wicked smile graced her face as she laughed through the anger. The feeling of tearing someone apart was incredibly exciting, and only made her want to do it more.

But the screaming didn't stop. In fact, with every opening the majin made in the blue gum, more ear-piercing, magically-sourced screams would come from the blue majin. It wouldn't stop. Wasn't stopping. No matter how much she tried to break the girl apart, the screaming just Would. Not. Stop.

With one final blow, Gaffa sent the mauled blue gumwad flying backwards through the park, hitting and ricoshaying off tree branches and smashing into a bench, before the ragdolled Suri would land in the middle of a pathway filled with a fair amount of curious onlookers who had seen the colorful fighters flying in from the sky earlier.

An eerie silence filled the air as people looked at what used to be the blue majin. For moments, no one even dared to breathe. Then, the crackle of flames turned a few heads and some of them were unlucky to witness the approaching form of the Majin Gaffa, eyes pitch black and marking stretching down her face, teeth bared and snarling, bright green flames burning the grass and the trees as she lurked forward. She wiped blue chunks from her hands and left them to burn and disintigrate.

A child screamed.

Everyone in the park broke into a panic as they ran off in all directions, shoving each other out of the way and away from this flaming monster. Gaffa fired a few shots of cursed fire blasts into the crowd, catching some people on fire and watching them burn, before accidentally stepping in something. She looked down and saw that she had stepped in what was left of the blue majin. She growled loudly, having thought it was gone. At least she could eat what was left.

Suri felt like death. Like was dead, and she was in hell, being stabbed in every part of her body, every cell being incinerated by hellfire. But the blue Majin—now practically a blue puddle on the ground—was still alive. Even after being completely torn apart by Gaffa, Suri was still somehow alive. She'd have been more astonished if it weren't for the pain enveloping her very being.

And yet, moments later, the pain faded as Suri's regeneration kicked in. It was as if it had never been there. It was like she had always been blue piles of goo her whole life, and not made this way using violent force. Faster, faster, Suri urged her body to rebuild, pushing her regeneration to its limit, expending a considerable amount of energy. Because even in the form of flattened chewing gum, Suri could hear the screaming, the sound of havoc caused by Gaffa. Suri could sense fellow victims of Gaffa's rampage, their lives being snuffed out, slowly but surely.

'No...'

The puddle started to sizzle, bubble... before a hand formed, blindly trying to grasp Gaffa's ankle, with a grip strong enough to cause pain.

"Nhhhmh..." Suri mumbled, her voice muffled, but filled with a desperate kind of rage, power rising up to meet it, and meet Gaffa's.

Then another hand emerged, trying to do the same as the other. It was followed by a set of legs that set their feet on the ground, twisted in an unnatural angle. The rest of the mass twisted, swirled, until it formed a torso, growing a head... Soon Suri had her full body, clothes and everything.

Legs cracking back into place, Suri lifted herself so she'd be on her knees, looking up at the purple Majin with tears forming in her newly-formed eyes. If Suri had managed to grab onto Gaffa's legs, her grip would tighten even more.

"No..."

She'd cry, plead for Gaffa to "stop."

What the hell?

From a puddle of goo, the practically feral Majin Gaffa could feel magical energy increasing as an initially gradual, soon turning rapid, pace. Before she could step out of the blue goop, something grabbed her leg and prevented her from moving. It was a hand?! Soon after, another hand grabbed her other leg, gripping tightly enough to make her wince from the pain. Limbs and body parts emerged from the blue puddle, broken apart like puzzle pieces but moving on their own to fit into place, slowly taking shape until the form of the blue majin was restored in front of Gaffa's eyes.

"H-how in the..." Gaffa was taken aback. She had never seen regeneration before, and especially not to this extreme degree. Was this a skill only this blue girl had, or was it something any majin could do? Gaffa knew that she had some crazy healing times, like when she got a massive scar in her chest that was gone after the fight with Erebos. She didn't know it could fix her from nothing, though.

Either way, the blue girl was kneeling on the ground, gripping onto Gaffa's burning legs and squeezing tighter and tighter as she begged with tears in her eyes for the majin to stop. Stop what exactly? Beating her to death? Burning randos? It was a good guess considering how much of a goody-two-shoes this girl seemed to be. Well, if she didn't want Gaffa to take out her rage on civilians, then she better be prepared to take it all herself.

Channeling energy into both of her fists, Gaffa brought them down on the head of the girl looking up and crying at her. Hopefully this will break her for good.

Suri would have preferred it if Gaffa stopped both actions, but... Oh well. At least her attention had been directed back to Suri now!

And speaking of which—"OW-" Suri let out, being hit head on by Gaffa's sledgehammer fists, which sent Suri's head crashing back down into the rocky road! The force caused her to let go of Gaffa, while completely demolishing the ground beneath her face. Though the attack did not liquify her head like it would have before, simply denting it briefly and bringing Suri even more pain. Suri had been protected somewhat by a white aura covering her outline, revealed when the blow impacted her head.

And she was far from done. Suri would try to lift herself off of the ground with ki flight. If met by resistance from above, Suri would propel herself out of there by firing energy from her hands and feet, kinda like that one guy with the iron suit does.

Suri would hover above Gaffa, looking down at her with eyes that were tear-filled, but also with a newfound determination. For the first time in her life, Suri felt responsible for the safety of her entire hometown. Suri knew now that she couldn't hesitate anymore, otherwise more people would die.

So she'd act fast.

"STOP NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW-!!" Suri cried out, then releasing an ear-piercing scream from her mouth. With it, came a supercharged beam of energy coming straight out of her mouth, aimed to hit Gaffa square in the face.

Suri gets hit by Curry Crash, which deals 40% to her.

Suri retaliates with the exact same amount of power, using Kisses Goodbye(40%, 12000 PL).

Her fists meeting their target, the blue majin was slammed into the ground with incredible force. The ground around the impact cratered from the heavy blow. Gaffa figured that would be it for the sorry excuse of a gumwad, however upon closer inspection it seemed as if there was a glow around the girl that kept her from becoming a pancake again. Oh, so she's using barriers again?! Gaffa'll just have to smash through them like she did before.

The girl was attempting to take off and fly once again. Not having any of it, the purple majin attempted to keep her down with repeated blows to her back, though the white aura around the girl would keep the force of the hits much lighter than they were dealt. Not even Gaffa's flames was penetrating the magical defense the blue majin had constructed.

Unable to be kept down, the blueberry girl began blasting energy from her hands and feet, pushing her assualter off and using the energy to propel herself out and up into the air. She got high enough to turn around and hover, looking down at Gaffa below. The two stared each other down, one shaking from fury and flames while the other shook from tears and a sense of resolve. Then, the blue majin screamed.

"STOP NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW-!!"

The shout echoed throughout the park, the power behind it blowing back grass and shaking trees. Before Majin Gaffa could react, she sensed the magical power flowing through the air and around the other majin congregating into one spot, the origin of the scream.

"Shit--"

Then there was white.

A full-powered energy beam bellowed from the majin high in the sky, hitting Gaffa in full force. There had been no time to evade the attack, putting up her arms was all she was able to do as the burning energy overwhelmed her flames and incinerated her skin with its power, stemming from a source of magic that was practically the opposite of her negative cursed magical energy. It was something pure, karmically righteous, and absolutely gut-wrenching. More nausiating than the croissant that had started this whole skirmish.

Well, now it made a little more sense. It wasn't the chocolate that made the majin sick to her stomach earlier. It was something else that the baker of the goods, this girl, had put into her food. Something that all chefs have but that this magical being seems to literally ooze. A magic of earnesty and love, poured into every single good. It made Gaffa want to puke.

As the beam attack lowered to a sputter and went out and the clouds of dust and smoke it had made parted, the blueberry girl might be surprised to see that her target was no longer present in the burning crater she had just made. Her flames having been put out and her skin burning, Gaffa was on the move to get away from the flying anti-curse embodiment of her own demise. She was out of the park and running down the street, back to a location from earlier.

Reaching the bakery, Gaffa jumped through the broken window and back inside, knocking over a display stand in the process. She'd wait for Blueberry to show back up here, with a new plan.
