"Warning. Warning. Crash Imminent. Brace for Impact." How long has Faustus spent cooped up in his pod only for it all to end like this? If the ship was of his design then everything would be going according to plan, but whatever; he'd make it work. Tiring away with inputs and calculations as well as quick nap the Majin was able to coordinate the landing to safe spot on the planet Arcose away from any prying eyes. Faustus did not want anyone to know that he was; if things didn't go according to plan he would be off just as quickly as he had arrived.
The conditions of Arcose would take some getting used to for him; the cold exteriors matched the rumors he had heard of their people. Apparently there was some sort of law that Arcosian government must be lead by an all-conquering emperor which gives them an icy reputation among the rest of the universe. That being said could they really be much worse than the Saiyans? Whatever the case may be Faustus needed to find the quickest way to a city as being out in the boonies any longer may cause his bubblegum like skin to freeze and crackle.
He wrapped his arm around a latch on his ship and tied it into a knot tree times over for safe keeping, then he took off in search of the nearest city. He wasn't sure what kind of hospitalities he could expect to find; if this were Plant then the Saiyans would likely detect his movement and treat it like a threat but this place was different. Upon the capital Kuriza first coming into view there was a powerful feeling of serenity and purpose which Faustus could not help to admire. While the Saiyans and Tuffles had torn their planet apart the Arcosian people had prospered in the shadows.
The wore torn environment of his past had allowed for adequate work for him. There was always an abandoned factory to scavenge from or dead bodies he could dissect; but what was the end game? All the good stuff was destroyed or being employed by the militaries to enjoy. Staying there would only hold back his potential which is why this change was so needed. Saying goodbye would be difficult, but given the ambitions of the Arcosian people he had a feeling he'd one day be back with new friends and new toys to test on them.
Touching down at the entrance to the city he was meet with a valet like service who offered to store his pod for him. Such civility was new to him, but he quickly untied his arm and allowed them to take it away. Where to go first? The bright lights and almost heavenly atmosphere had an almost crushing weight about them. Where was the violence? Where was the destruction? Living on Plant had lead him to believe all planets were war torn but this was something else entirely. Adventure could wait though; he needed to seek out the one who was in charge.
After speaking to a couple of locals he learnt that technically there was nobody in charge; not officially. There was speculation of certain individuals pulling strings behind the scenes with political machinations at hand, but no one was elected emperor at this point in time. A few names kept popping up during this chats though, one of which was Azoth. Arranging a meeting with this Azoth proved to be difficult, after all he had no connections, really no friends to speak of whatsoever on this planet. What was his next move?
There was a place he was informed of that might be able to provide him what he was looking for: the Regal Citadel it was called. Apparently it was the head of the government; a place where all the important people would go from time to time. It seemed like the logical place to look. The Majin took off in search of the most spectacular building he could find. After touching down he walked through the front door and ignored a few of the strange looks he received. This place looked civilized, so rather than his usual methods he simply asked around for the one called Azoth.
