Oozaru Onnio closed his eyes and took a meditative breath as he listened to the litany of Tuffle insults. She probably thought he was too dumb to understand what she was saying, but he understood everything perfectly well. She thought he was dumb. Really, really dumb. That was good. People misunderestimated dumb fighters. But she wouldn't be misunderestimating him for very long...
Opening his eyes as Cheri finished, Onno stuck his thumbs in his ears and waved his hands back and forth, sticking his tongue out and giving her an Oozaru-sized raspberry. "I know you are Pinkie, but what am I?"
When Delia launched her attack, those cool twin orbs, Onnio busily started gathering dirt. He took big cakes of it, and mashed it together, rolling it around in a circle. By the time the smoke cleared, and Cheri emerged, predictably alive again, Onnio had a ball of condensed rock twice the size of his giant ape head.
We can't let up on her. He thought, flying back up into the air with his ball of rock. "Hey nerd, catch!" He yelled, hurling the huge stone back at Pinkie. It probably wouldn't phase her much -- she had some kind of dis-honorable Tuffle shield. -- but it could make her mad or throw her off her aloof little attitude. In battle, it was important to do the unexpected.
KP: 4/6 MP: 5/6 Damage: 144%/270% Onnio has thrown a big boulder at Cheri for non-mechanical damage!
The young woman came to a screeching halt after her orbs of Ki were launched, dirt and the like flying up into the air behind her. Even if it wasn't the most damage she was capable of sending out, surely it'd at least cause the Tuffle to slow down at least a little bit while she tried coming up with a new plan- one that would hopefully result in the Oozaru she had been fighting alongside of to remain standing for the time being.
The smoke and whatnot cleared, Cheri coming into view once again- more damaged than previous, thankfully! "Terrible?" Delia relaxed her stance some, a hand coming up to wipe a lone tear from her right eye. "I thought you'd be at least a little nicer! After all- if I really wanted to, I could've made it hurt way more than that!" Her hands move to rest on her hips, the young woman letting out a laugh.
Even if she had said that, at the moment the young woman honestly had no intention of tapping into the Oozaru's strength in this particular match. One person tapping into that power was enough for now, right? Her hands slid off her hips after her brief fit of laughter. "Still- surprised it didn't seem to do more than that! Could've been pretty scary to fight you if you were still in your prime."
She looked over towards Onnio, watching as he proceeded to chuck a rock right at their pint-sized opponent. "Oooh- hopefully that doesn't end up crushing her.." Delia says, eyes shifting to the Tuffle once again. "Guess I'll go ahead and keep trying to beat her, too!"
A deep breath in was taken, the faux-idol trying to summon up some strength from somewhere. Maybe it'd be better to hold off for a brief moment, though. Instead, the woman smashed a nearby boulder into a million little rocks. "You can give up whenever you want, Cheri! Just let me know- and maybe I'll let you run off!" She shouted, before scooping up a whole boatload of those rocks. They were promptly chucked one after the other at the Tuffle, Delia deciding to join in on Onnio's rock throwing.
Delia starts chucking a bunch of little rocks at Cheri!

When Onnio made his mocking motions, Cheri appeared to not react. But, on a closer examination, her hands would vibrate, her left eye would vibrate, her left eyebrow would flicker, all motivated by barely contained annoyance bordering on slightly uncontained absolute rage. But, visibly, she really just didn’t care and, further, took the opportunity: ”Not even you know what you are. And it’s a good thing, too, because otherwise even you’d be disappointed in yourself. I’d say you’re the textbook example of missed potential, but you missed the potential to even be that.”
Cheri watched Onnio roll up a big pebble in much the same way one might watch a distant acquaintance’s four year old try opening a child-proof lock by licking it. For the sake of her own sanity, she chose to address Delia, ignoring that which could have been interpreted as an underhanded insult. ”I would hope it would have been. While I express it with technology, all of my powers are, ultimately, derived from me, from my ki, from my mastery of it. Like it would be the case for anyone else, long enough periods of non-training can lead to… losing progress.” While falling from the power she had in her prime was unfortunate, she did not exactly regret it, for in the time where her focus was elsewhere she managed some political action that, in the long run, she’d consider worthwhile.
Then, Cheri looked back to Onnio, and… oh, that was actually kinda scary. Maybe she should… Oh, I know exactly what to do! Cheri moved her hands out, straight and near each other, in front of her. Programmable matter moved up them, to her hands, where they formed a strange… claw? A claw with particular nodes upon each of its three ‘digits’ that translucently sparked between each other like tesla coils that weren’t entirely convinced they were there. ”Oh, I can catch alright!” When the giant boulder was thrown at Cheri, she activated the device. Suddenly the boulder lost in velocity, continually, more and more, until it came to a complete standstill only a few metres from the tuffle. She moved it around, subsequently, to shield herself from the many smaller rocks as sent by Delia. She smiled, glad that the new tech was actually working, before she’d, using the Prototype Powercatcher, throw it back at Onnio. It was faster this time, as expected given their relative power. ”I won’t tell you to catch it, in case you might. So instead I say: choke on it!”
Cheri uses a basic, non-KP version of the Powercatch. Cheri didn’t have the Powercatch at this point, so this is an introduction to that through a far weaker, non-KP version of it.
Onnio was proud of his antics. They didn't seem to have an effect, but -- he must have had a sixth sense for this sort of thing -- that's how he knew they did! She'd gotten all still and didn't have a sly comeback, at least not one immediately rendered. Onnio was good at fighting, but also good at being a general annoyance. Maybe his ancestors had been court jesters to the Saiyan kings of yore.
Now Delia was getting in on the rock-throwing game, and doing a pretty good job of it. She was certainly winging 'em harder than Onnio could in normal conditions. Onnio cheered her on, feet stomping the sky up and down in a march as he pumped his arms up and down in the air. "That's it! You've got an arm like a turbo drive!"
But then, Cheri went and fought back. Her shield deflected most the rocks, and she'd somehow managed, with her nerdist rage, to heave the boulder back at Onnio. Well this is unexpected. Onnio thought dumbly as the boulder careened into him, only raising his arms at the last moment to prevent major injury.
Still, catching it that way hurt, and it flung him through sky, head over heels. Spinning, he growled with anger and crushed the rock with a clutch of his massive arms. "That's it! No more mister nice giant monkey!" Brushing crumbling stone off of his body, he soared high into the air, putting the sun behind him so Cheri would at least have to squint to see him. It was an age old battle trick, using the sun.
Grinning, Onnio began growl. His hackles rose, his muscles hardened. She'd seen his best move, yes... but she hadn't seen it when he put all of his heart, and all of his soul into it. He'd done this once before.
An aura started to ripple around the Great Ape, one much like before, pink and red and flourishing. Only this time, it seemed somehow deeper. A darkness bruised within it. "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He started to scream, straining as his power raged.
If Pinkie's scouter was active, she might notice his battle power rising.
Her grin widened some as she heard what the giant monkey had said. "Aha- thanks! These rocks aren't anywhere close to as great as that giant one of yours!" Delia shouted back. Had she felt like tapping into the Oozaru's strength, surely she too could've pulled off a feat like his- but these smaller ones would do for now! The young woman's eyes remained fixed on the Tuffle in hopes of seeing them pull of some sort of neat trick.
Her little rocks continued to be chucked, though nothing really came of it! Though, she wasn't expecting her little rocks to do much more than be a mild annoyance. From this little match so far Cheri had managed to endure what most people would end up vaporized from, so rocks obviously weren't going to do very much. Onnio's much larger rock, on the other hand, may have proved to be a little more worrying- but it seemed like the Tuffle general was more than prepared for a scenario like that. Out of nowhere, a giant claw of some sort took form to catch that massive rock, only to chuck it right back at it's sender! Almost immediately afterwards, her rock throwing ceased. ".. what in the world? That's, uh.. neat! I've never seen anything like that, that's for sure!"
Of course, Onnio probably didn't think it was pretty neat given the fact as though it smashed right into him after being caught by Cheri.
"You okay up there, dude? Not getting worn out yet, right?" Delia asked, shouting up at the giant ape. That question kind of answered itself, though- given that she definitely noticed the aura pop into view alongside the Oozaru's power seeming to spike out of nowhere. Delia clears her throat a little bit, then proceeds to do a few flips backwards to get away from the area- just to be safe!
"Uh-oh! Looks like you made my friend mad, Cheri!" Delia shouts towards the Tuffle. "Hopefully you can handle, uh.. whatever it is he's about to do!"
Delia doesn't do much- aside from cease the rock throwing!

The large boulder smashed into the Oozaru and, well, what else was there to say? It was absolutely hilarious. The way a big rock was smashed into a big monkey and it went kablooey, haha. If she had just one criticism it was that the Great Ape was too large so that, in relation, the big rock seemed just a rock. It was precisely that sort of thing that, were this translated to live action, would look even funnier: imagine the actor for Cheri ‘throwing’ it through lots of wires and whatnot before, cut to the Great Ape, it’s just a guy in a monkey costume having to pretend to be hurt by a much smaller scale replica. Anyway, Onnio caught it and smashed it, but that wasn’t as funny and therefore not relevant.
Cheri considered, briefly, what she was going to do after she won. Onnio, definitely, would be brought in for questioning, blutz-banned, interrogated, judged and incarcerated. Delia, though… she was just a stupid kid. So was Onnio, mind you, but he was an actively evil wager of war. No, she’d need to figure out where she was from, because it certainly wasn’t here, and send her back. And maybe have a few strong words with whoever her legal guardian was, too.
”Oh, no, don’t worry, I’ve seen this before. It’s all ‘I’ll show you the Saiyan Power’ and ‘you’re not dealing with the average saiyan warrior anymore’... but, as it turns out, ‘already seen it, not impressed’ and ‘indeed, you’re a good bit below that’. I’ve seen it all before.” She looked to Delia more directly. ”And, let’s be honest with ourselves here. That,” she said, clearly referring to the screaming primate, ”is not your friend.”
So she looked, once again, to the monkey for whom lung capacity was a mere suggestion. She noted the rising power on her scouter, but she did not seem alarmed. ”So here’s what’s going on:”
She made the preparations in activating her shields.
”You’re thinking, ‘this one last attack could do it’! You’re thinking, ‘if I pour my everything into this, she’s sure to die’! But I’m here to tell you, before you waste your chance, that it will not play out that way. Possibly you will deal some damage, sure, but… well, I’ll leave you to try it and find out the hard way.”
As Onnio drew into deepest well of his power, his battle point exploded to heights he'd never achieved before. He felt himself swell with it. The sky above him rumbled with thunder, black as night, a dark aura that eclipsed the sun. Lightning crackled, and shadows grew. Rocks erupted from the stony earth, floating in the air, buoyed by a howling wind.
Glaring down at the Tuffle, Onnio heard her words. She claimed she would survive his attack. Perhaps so. But he would break her technology. Her flimsy nerdist shield would be devoured by his pure Saiyan might.
"Worn out?" Oozaru Onnio asked Delia, grinning at his new comrade in battle. "I'm just gettin started!"
Channeling his strength into his fists, Onnio thrust them down towards her. A black star shone around his fists, flaring wild pinks and reds. "Hey Pinkie..." Oozaru Onnio started, "I got a present for youuuuu!" His hulking muscles strained and bulged.
"HOT FUDGE SUNDAE SHREDDER!"
Ensorcelled by shadow, sheathed in a malignant black ki, a fluttering beam of pink and red energy boomed down towards Cheri. Roaring, Onnio put all of strength into it, every ounce of his blutz-borne power.
KP: 0/6 MP: 1/6 (-5 for SPARKING) Damage: 144/270 Hot Fudge Sundae Shredder headed towards Cheri for 37,500 PL.
Honestly, Cheri didn't seem all to phased by Onnio's rising power, which Delia certainly found pretty odd. Heck, had she not been capable of pushing her power beyond where it was resting for now, even Delia would've been pretty worried! The young woman's eyes remained fixed on the pink-haired woman, grinning all the same. "I guess it's a little bit of a stretch to call him my friend, since I just met him!" Delia shouted back at the Tuffle. "But- he's still an ally, at least! Whatever he's about to do is surely gonna give you a run for your money!"
Things seemed to be growing rather dangerous and Delia was definitely glad she had decided to further the distance between herself and the Oozaru. Whatever they were doing, it definitely wasn't good. Delia did her best to maintain proper footing where she was at, pretty interested to see what the Oozaru was up to. Would the chance for Onnio to finish this little fight right now be coming? "Aha! I can tell! Let's see how much you manage to do!" The tailless Saiyan shouted towards Onnio, continuing to back up a little bit more. Though she had wished to fight a little more than she currently was, in fights like these- she figured it best to wait for a better opportunity to strike. If things went well enough, maybe she'd be able to swoop in and get in a quick hit while Cheri was worn out- like last time!
".. yeesh." Delia let out quietly, watching as the Oozaru shot forth a massive beam of power straight at Cheri. Had she been on the receiving end of that, Delia would've been torn to pieces instantly- unless she transformed, of course! Her eyes shifted back towards the Tuffle, wondering if they'd have any way to deal with it- or if they'd be forced to take the full force of the attack!

The earth trembled. The air shivered. The minute traces of destron left in the soil moved closer, if only by a millimetre, attracted to the power. The wind moved against the soil in such a way as that it seemed, if only for the slightest of moments, to sing. The battlefield screamed in thunder. The sky blackened in awe and the sun dimmed, knowing not to bother competing with such a power. Light and dark seemed to fall apart from each other, conceptually, as the whites became lighter and the blacks became darker. The soil itself began to erupt, to sing, to cry! Cheri sighed and briefly looked to a programmable matter watch upon her wrist.
”Not even slightly. You couldn’t wear out a shoe sized for your toe by wearing it around your hips.”
Cheri erupted in triumphant pink power. Cheri’s aura, as usual, was thin, always close to the skin, but more opaque than others’... and, yet, it erupted all the same, but in the negative sense. Around her the earth trembled, but in the other way as it had for Onnio so that, in one spot between them, there was perfect still. Those floating rocks closer to her remembered that that was not what they ought to have been doing. If one looked at her sky through her aura, it seemed perfectly clear, the sun perfectly bright! ”As I told your ally here…!” As opposed to ‘friend’, on Delia’s behalf.
The pink spots of her battlesuit began to glow with a new power as more and more of Cheri’s own power entered into the system. For these bare few moments, ki moved through veins and through circuitry as if they were one and the same. ”... I’ve seen such tricks a thousand times before!”
The Shredder was fired! Local reality’s heart skipped a beat!
Cheri only smiled knowingly as she brought enough energy into her Personal Shield...
KA-KABOOM!!
The attack moved dust into the air in a terrifyingly massive plume of doom! Cheri was rendered entirely out of sight!
If Onnio was again too arrogant to check his scouter first, he’d have noticed the first sign of Cheri being alive was the scouter-aimed Lightspeed Shot, moving far too quickly to track, that came out of the dust and precisely aimed to the spot between Onnio’s eyes.
”As promised: the ’hard way’.”
When the smoke cleared, it was clear that Cheri was suffering from some serious burns and was dealing with considerable fatigue. And, yet, she managed to give Onnio the classic ‘told ya so’ smile.
Cheri uses a Transformation Boost, increasing her transformation modifier by 1 and her Power Level to 45,000. Cheri uses a Personal Shield (4,500PL, Shield) against the Hot Fudge Sundae Shredder (37,500PL). It is reduced to 33,000PL and, through Shield, to 23,100PL (51.3̅% damage). Cheri then uses a Lightspeed Shot (18,000PL, Homing) on Onnio.
Despite what Cheri might think, Onnio had no illusions that his Hot Fudge Sundae Shredder would vaporize the proud pink Tuffle. Quite the opposite. He realized he was hopelessly outclassed after she absolutely defeated his first Shredder. Now, he was just buying time.
It was an age-old Saiyan battle tactic, one that Onnio had bore the brunt of many times. It accounted for most of the scars littered on his body. He was the ruse. While the enemy focused their fire on him, his allies would get the chance to gather their strengths. No matter how smart Cheri was, no matter how clever her Tuffle-sized genius, she had fallen for that old trick, and wasted precious energies on the lesser fighter, while Delia, the stronger of the two, was fresh and ready.
Even as her lightspeed shot hit him square between the eyes, cratering into his face, sending a fan of blood spraying from his snout as he fell to the ground a dead weight, even as it rocked his brain into near unconsciousness, leaving him hanging onto clouds in the sky that were now vague shapes, even as he slammed into the earth and drove into it a great crater, Onnio grinned.
It took several moments for Onnio to realize he wasn't dead.
Coughing blood, one eye swollen shut from the attack, the hardwearing Oozaru slowly sat up. Wriggling a tongue in his snout, he spat out a huge fang, and coughed some more. Her attack had almost ripped his head straight off. I guess my thick skull came in handy. Onnio thought. His vision was bad, and not just from the eye. Getting hit in the head by such an attack had given him some kind of concussion. He was seeing double, triple, depending on how fast he moved his head. And he had a galactic-sized headache.
Trying to stand, Onnio fell. Befuddled, he glared down at his feet. One of them was twisted the wrong way. He had landed from too high up. I can't feel my right leg. Onnio thought, smacking his knee lightly and getting no pain response. Great.
Still, he had a job to do. Laborious breath pouring through flaring nostrils, he squinted over at Delia. He hoped she was planning for some kind of attack, a devastating follow-through. He didn't know how much more time he could buy.
With all the willpower he could muster, the battered, bloodied, and burnt Great Ape rose again, favoring one leg with its weight. Most of his armor had been blasted away, along with great patches of his lining. Some of his fur was scorched off too, around blackened wounds. In short, he was a wreck.
"That was pretty good, Pinkie, I admit it," Oozaru Onnio said. "But as you can see," He said, spreading his arms and grinning gap-toothed. "I'm fine."
"Y'know," Oozaru Onnio said, lurching forward a step, dragging his right foot behind him like a club. "I have a lot of hobbies. Brick Rack Row. Cooking. Dice,"The last word twisted out him, pain-wrenched. Pausing, he clutched at his heart. He'd taken the last step too fast. Growling with effort, he hobbled forward towards Cheri. "But my very favorite hobby is dusting Nerdist Tuffles like you."
Even if the attack that Onnio launched surely had the power to tear through cities and the like with relative ease, it seemed Cheri was pretty confident in their own abilities- which certainly wasn't unwarranted, of course. From what the young woman had seen so far from the Tuffle, they were actually pretty skilled- whether she'd like to admit it or not. Regardless, Delia was very curious to see how they'd handle this particular technique- more so if they'd be able to come out completely unharmed. Smoke shrouded the pink-haired woman's position for a moment, though Delia knew full well that they weren't out yet just by using her sensory abilities alone. And before long, a burst of Ki was being shot at the Oozaru again.
".. yeesh." Delia muttered, watching as the giant ape took the blast head on. As much as she would've liked to jump in and help, she didn't really have much in the way of assistance to offer. Though, by this point Onnio seemed to be getting very, very worn out. Honestly, she was pretty surprised he was even able to find the strength to rise back up after collapsing to the ground. A slight nod was done when that still open eye from the Oozaru peered her way, Delia taking in a deep breath. She hadn't been entirely sure this was going to be a great idea on her part, but- she didn't really have much of a choice. Right now, she at least wanted to make sure Onnio stayed in as close to one piece as possible.
Preferably without having to rely on the Oozaru's strength, of course.
"Right- guess it's my turn!" Delia grinned as usual, a fuchsia aura sprouting up around the woman- and along with it, any scouters in the area would notice the massive jump Delia's power level had just taken. Her hair began to sway as her strength continued to grow, a loud yell following as she prepared to strike. And when she was ready- the Saiyan launched herself through the air at Cheri. "Rest for a sec', monkey man! You did good!"
"Alright, General Cheri!" Delia shouted, eyes trained on the much shorter woman. A smaller target may have been a little difficult to deal with, but Delia didn't think she'd have too much trouble. She took in a deep breath as the distance was closed, her fingers raising upwards afterwards. Finger guns were made with both hands, her grin only widening as Ki gathered at the very tips of her fingers."Sorry in advance if this stings!"
She wouldn't really be sorry.
From the index fingers of both hands, two condensed beams of energy were fired- surely enough to pierce through the skin of even the toughest of foes. Did Delia think it was going to finish off the Tuffle- no, not really- but sitting around while her ally was on the verge of collapsing entirely didn't seem like the wisest thing to do.
Delia pushes her power as far as she can without entering her Wrathful state! A transformation boost is applied and her power level is now 32,000 for this turn! Alongside this temporary increase in power, she launches Celestial Impaler at Cheri which carries 22,400 power! Should Cheri use a defensive technique, it's power will be halved thanks to the Piercing trait!

”’Fine’ compared to an actual person? Not even remotely. But, strangely enough, you weren’t even slightly ‘fine’ when we started; the closer to death you are, turns out, the finer you become.”
Then was the comment about hobbies and, well, Cheri could only smile at that. ”Oho! And a good shame, too, that such a hobby is so inaccessible to the public; indeed, I hear it’s so expensive that it costs troglodytes like you an arm and a leg!” Considering that Onnio’s leg was already mangled and twisted to the point of near-uselessness, Cheri knew precisely what she would need to do: a sleek black blaster formed on her shoulder, seemingly without any effort at all, and shot a powerful Lightspeed Shot at one of Onnio’s shoulders, the one of the same side as the broken leg, with the intention to render the arm unusable also. She did it so quickly, and seemingly without even looking; while it was all an act, of course, from an observer’s perspective it seemed as if she let out a very quite powerful attack for so little energy and with so little effort.
Cheri looked over to Delia before she would have been given any reason to; she was remarkably familiar with saiyan battle strategies, having dealt with them for over two decades, and knew precisely what Onnio thought he was doing. As if on cue, Delia declared that it was ‘her turn’. Cheri noted the rise in Delia’s Power Level with the same level of interest that one would regard a mildly interesting fact about a train station one had never been to on a television show about old trains and their stations. ”Hm.” Certainly, she was expecting to see a lot of power coming from her, but this amount of power was unexpected, even if she’d never show that surprise in case her opponents would see it and get a morale boost.
In preparation of the attack, as before, she activated her Personal Shield! Delia’s two ki beams smashed into her shield and quickly overcame it: leaving Cheri with two spots (one over the navel, one over the left shoulder) that were totally unarmoured and bleeding quite a lot from wounds that made noticeable depressions, holes, in her skin! It went without saying, but that hurt like a BITCH.
OK, new plan, even if it was sorta the plan she’d been using all along anyway: take out Onnio and then flee, leaving Delia to her devices. Hopefully she’d recognise that maybe it was a poor idea to actively support a genocidal regime and go home? Well, probably not, she was a saiyan. But one could hope.
”Not much of a sting, no,” she lied through her teeth.
And then, just to spite him, she threw another ki blast at Onnio. Because screw that guy.
curse my low PL and lack of new techniques
Cheri then uses a Lightspeed Shot (9,000PL, Homing) against Onnio!
Cheri uses Personal Shield (3,000, Shield) against the Celestial Impaler (22,400PL, Piercing)! From Piercing, its value is halved to 1,500PL! This leaves the Celestial Impaler with 20,900PL! However, through Shield, this becomes 14,630PL (48.76̅%)!
Onnio was blasted with another shoulder cannon, and went down again, hard. He staggered, twisting about, and collapsed to the earth in a helpless heap. The second light-speed shot hadn't crippled his arm like his leg, but it certainly didn't feel too great, to say the least. The whole right side of his body was numbing.
Good thing I'm a leftie. Onnio thought, delirious.
And then another ki blast hit him when he was down, but at this point, he was so battered that he barely felt the fire.
Groaning in the dirt, Onnio struggled to rise but unable to find the strength. Delia was now in battle against Cheri, but didn't seem to be doing enough damage yet. He hoped it was enough, because he had given it his all.
Was there anything left? The earth felt cool and comforting against his fur, against the great patches of burns and his stinging wounds. It would be so nice to give up, to fall asleep. Maybe he'd never wake up, or he'd wake up in the Next Dimension. Maybe he'd be judged by his ancestors, for giving up. But so what? The ground felt nice.
Watching with his good eye, Onnio gazed at Delia. I have to make sure she wins, He thought grimly. but I can't stay awake. In the Saiyan woman facing off against the superior Tuffle, Onnio saw the hopes and dreams of all Saiyans. He saw the ragged, desperate fleet of his ancestors fighting for a place to live, carving out with sweat and blood a new continent to call home. In Cheri, he saw their vengeful Tuffle foes, those who had sought the genocide of his people with the darkest sciences ever devised. He saw the poison of the planet, he saw the fissures in the stony earth, the cracks in a great tomb world.
Was this dying? He wondered, floating.
"Onnio, wake up."
It was the voice of his grandfather, as soothing as the cool earth beneath him. His red eye opened. He focused.
"Whenever you find yourself doubting," His dead grandfather said to his wakening mind, "Doubting how much farther you can go... remember that you are a Saiyan! A true son of Planet Sadala! If there are gods and demons out here in these new stars, they will soon fear us! There is nothing in this Universe that can stop you! Even the gods!"
The wrecked Oozaru growled, rising once again from the dust. "If you kill me, I'll climb out of Hell and kill you back! The Saiyans will never bow down to you! Even your Nerdist gods cannot stop me! I'm a Saiyan Warrior!" Oozaru Onnio yelled, his mind reeling and half-mad from pride, from anger, from love for his grandfather, from the battle between exhaustion and exhilaration, and from walking on the knife's edge of consciousness . "Fuck you!"
Flying into the air, Onnio hurled out a colossal fan of ki against Cheri. He knew his energies were waning, but he hoped it bought him some time.
One more time! He thought wildly.
Howling with pain he'd never felt, he readied into a charging stance, and began to dig into the well of his ki. Reaching further down, he broke new earth in the depths of his psyche. An aura fluttered around him, then grew. Then grew hot. He thought he felt his leg break again, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was the song of battle flowing behind his ears, the rampant beat of his unstoppable heart.
KP: 4/6 MP: 5/6 (+1 innate, +1 damage) Damage: 252/270 (noble blood now in effect)
A satisfied grin was present on the young woman's face, pretty proud of herself as she watched her attack make short work of that barrier that Cheri tried using against her attack. Even if she would've liked it to finish the match entirely- this was a fine middle ground. After a quick leap back to create some distance again, a slow, drawn out exhale is done. Following that, the Saiyan's aura slowly faded from view- power dropping not long after. Even if she would've liked to be closer to Cheri and Onnio in terms of power, doing that was just way too exhausting! Exhausting as it was, Delia still hadn't sustained any sort of damage that'd really stop her anytime soon. The other two, however, definitely didn't look like they were in great shape- especially Onnio after he took that blast from that darned pink-haired Tuffle.
"Dang, dude. I have no idea how you're still conscious after all that.." Delia muttered quietly, watching as he'd collapse- only to rise up once again. Honestly, she almost felt like it might've been best if he'd just stayed on the ground at this point! It definitely couldn't have felt good trying to stay standing at this point, but somehow he was still doing it. Delia on the other hand probably would've been out of the fight completely if she were in his position. Even so! If Onnio felt like he could keep going- then why stop him? She pumped a fist up into the air, grinning the same as always. "I'unno how you're doing it, but- keep going if you feel like you can! Give it all you got, I believe in you!"
Her head attention whipped back around towards Cheri. "I know you're trying to act tough and all, but- you don't have to lie you know! If it hurts, you can just say so!" Delia added on, hoping that she could at least act as a distraction or something while Onnio attempted to regain his strength for whatever he had planned. Both of her palms shot outwards, only for the young woman to begin firing a plethora of tiny blasts of Ki in the Tuffle's direction. She didn't really care if they hit or not, just so long as it'd maybe distract them. "Heck! If you wanna turn tail and run away like I know you wanna, I'm not gonna stop you or anything! You definitely look like you're gonna need a doctor after this is all over!" A slight glance from the corner of her eye is done towards the massive ape on the field, then back towards Cheri. "Well.. if you even manage to survive after whatever he's got planned, that is!"

All right, perfect. That should be Onnio out of the way— oh, but my scouter still says… oh, kais damnit. And, yep, Onion was still alive. At this point, after this amount of damage, Cheri would have expected a saiyan to keel over and die, especially one so flimsy and ineffectual (get rekt) as Onnio. But, frankly, after all the damage he’d undergone during the duration of their fight, Cheri figured one or two quips would likely be enough damage. Or, failing that, another seven Lightspeed Shots.
And now it was claiming that he’d claw back from Hell just to kill her. Superb, she thought with more sarcasm than could be safely instilled in a word. ”We don’t want you to bow. We want you to leave, and we don’t have gods to help with that.” Alas, the tuffle mind was wired for connection, for tools, for invention and critical thinking; that was the evolutionary gimmick through which they survived on Plant. Through logical thinking, the mysteries of nature were peeled wide open; there was no need to invent a god of the gaps. As for real gods… any shinjin who, by inaction or otherwise, allowed the saiyans to invade was not worthy of praise. ”And, besides. I’ve only used my weakest attack on you a few times and you’re basically already a corpse. In a real fight, you couldn’t land a punch.” The implication being, of course, that this wasn’t a real fight, and that Onnio was not worth her time to actually put effort against. The Lightspeed Shot also was her weakest attack technique, that was true… but only because, at the time, it was one of two.
She looked to Onnio as prepared his ki attacks, entirely ignoring Delia’s comment on not having to lie. That didn’t mean that she wasn’t paying attention to Delia, though; she was keeping in her mind and in her scouter a full image of the arena and everything in it. Eventually, though, she would address the girl. ”I think you’ve said something like that, what, three times now? We’ve been over this. ‘Whatever he’s planned’ couldn’t hurt a mayfly in its last minute, yet alone a person! Look, I get that you’re projecting, but don’t worry. I’ll just handle the lankerer and get you home.”
She would be spurred into action when the ki attacks actually, though: she’d begin jumping, dodging and otherwise acrobatically showing off to avoid the attacks sent her way; her main concern was Onnio’s large attack, but the good thing about that was that she only had to jump out of its way once.
