As Cong walked in all casual like, Genma stared at him at as he sat at an empty table with a cigar in his mouth. The short demon was 4'0ft and 300lbs. He was the boss around here and he meant business. Cong had eventually arrived at Genma's table and took a seat across from him.
"Its been a long time Cong. We heard of what happen with you and the snakes. We also heard what happen after that. You made yourself quite a name. You aren't exactly small time anymore and trying to go for your head now well would be a waste of time. No no, we have a better idea. It would clear all your debt from us and a truce would be made. You don't have to agree to it and we already know you have so many enemies out there."
"So what exactly do you want from me?"
"This city is going through a drought. We don't know why that is the case. Which is why we have been getting supplies from out of town back here. We know you dead folks don't need no supplies but we do. And we ain't exactly magicians like some of the demons out there. Help us fix this drought problem and we can make the truce happen."
"Do you know where the source of the problem is?"
"West of here is an abandoned factory. Reports stated that it started there. Folks never came back and when I sent a few of my guys there. They perished."
"I will take care of it then."
Cong walking out the doors and whispering to Monica.

The whiteness of Erys' ghastly eyes narrowed down into thin slits. She scoured the casino area through and through, analyzing all the individuals who had the makings of a mafia goon. From their árula level to the weapons they visibly donned or had concealed under their dress suits with the faintest of bulging fabric betraying their outline, the alkaguíria memorized them all.
Once she was done with this menial task and grew bored of waiting, she made her way to the curtain to eavesdrop on the conversation her partner and Genma were having. She came right in the nick of time to hear about what was the problem and where they were headed. While she didn't catch each and every single detail of the chit chat due to distant whispers being hard to decipher, she got the gist of it.
When Cong exited from the meeting room, Erys was awaiting him with her cheeks puckered in a pout and her arms crossed. The redhead swordstress whispered back to the hybrid to make him aware of... her discontentment. "Why are we running errands for these small-time schmucks? I overheard some of the conversation, you know, and these quivering imps are TERRIFIED of you. They obviously want to use you to their advantage despite the fact you're way more powerful than them." She sighed, pinching the bridge of her dainty nose. "Why allow that? Also, I counted and there are 19 guards on the premises, give or take one or two."

Cong stepping out of the casino and now in the alleyway by himself. Laughing as she was explaining to him that he was must stronger than they were. Cong spoke in ancient tongue.
"Dome Expansion ; Universal Flip"
A dome had appeared all around the building that they were standing next to. Within seconds, the entire building inverted and landing on its head. The amount of screams, chaos, and dust that was forming was more than enough to cause the people within the building to be severely injured or knocked out at best. As he walked back into the place that was still upside down, he approached Genma and placing his foot onto his upper back.
"I was first worried that you had gotten stronger Genma, but it seems like time has only made you weak. I will spare your life and all I ask is how to get to the golden twin bridges."
Genma had now coughed up blood as he struggled to look up at Cong.
"You... bastard...."
He would press down on the man's back before speaking again.
"Last chance."
"You have to take the underground railroad station to get there. Its in the city."
Cong walking out of the building and looking over at Monica.

Erys regarded Yangcong with a confused look as he erupted into laughter. What was so funny about her question? Unless it meant that the venerable Orchestra member had prepared another one of his nasty tricks — the latter being Erys’ predicted outcome. The alkaguíria hunch was all but confirmed; with the incantation of another spell, Yangcong used some kind of reality warping magic to flip the building upside down. The resulting chorus of despair and agony made Erys grin maliciously. "FINALLY! THIS IS THE YANGCONG THE LEGEND TELLS ABOUT!"
The killcount wasn’t flawless, though, for Genma was one of the slimy bastards who was left alive. With vynero holding her aloft, Erys soared into the reverse building with her arms crossed. With a solemn nod, she approved of Yangcong’s interrogation skills; a bit boorish, but the promise of one’s life held before their nose was a hard one to deny, especially for the criminal scum without a figment of moral fortitude or convictions.
Genma spilled the beans under Yangcong’s heel. Erys chimed in with an applause. "There you go! Wasn’t so hard now, was it? Mister Genma~" As soon as Yangcong was done extorting the information, the redhead swordstress swiftly drew out her serrated alkálipe sword to cleave the portly oni’s head off, slicing the meat clean off the bone with one seamless cut. "So long, king of nothing." She spat on his still-twitching beheaded body before following Yangcong outside with a pleased hum. Somehow, she seemed deeply relieved. "Ah~ Sweet, sweet violence. Where’s that railroad station now?" As per usual, she was ready to follow the master’s lead.

Traveling towards the direction of the rail station, Cong had arrived at the destination and proceeded to look at where the train goes with the map that they had. The twin bridges was on the list and as he got into the train they were the only two there.
"Since it's going to take us a while. Why not teach you now."
Cong had pulled out a capsule, tossing it on the table and poof, several ancient books were here and each with titles to them.
The list appeared endless, abjuration, divination, enchantment, illusion, evocation, transmutation, etc. All she had to do was choose and Cong would begin to aid her in learning about it. Granted he wasn't well verse when it came to some of these spell books but he understood the ancient language enough to proceed the process and for her to understand it.
"These books here is only the beginning. Many who learn magic in general tend to go into a specific speciality. For instance, I once battled a shadow user by the name of Erebos. You can be a specialist or you can be a jack of all trades and don't have to limit yourself. You won't be the best but you also wont be the worst."

Being efficient about their time was a notion that Erys' savage mind was still capable of appreciating, so it is with great excitement that she childishly nodded when he proposed to kill two birds with one stone. "Yes! Let's make the most out of our finite moments together; once the guiding candle's flame fades in the mortal world, I'll be forced back home, I'm afraid."
Now cozy on the train's seat standing in front of Yangcong's own, Erys rubbed her hands together, ghastly eyes darting between the many books laid down before her eyes. A few were perused under Yangcong's guidance. His advice was to either become a specialist or generalist. The alkaguíria opted for the former, knowing-well that her existing skill set only needed a small boost to offset her flaws.
"Actually, can you teach me about that one magic school you seem to be so proficient with?" She cleared her throat before apposing the painted nail of a pointing index on the tome of conjuration. "Conjuration! More precisely, everything pertaining to teleportation magic; making an escape and having some form of short-range portals to dupe my foes with sucker blows would be quite appreciated~" An emergency exit button and a way to capitalize on unsuspected angles were both tools she needed to add to her repertoire.

"Very well then, in order to train you first. You must first prepare yourself! Hold still!"
Five purple flames appeared on his right hand on his finger tips as he started to concentrate his energy into the center of his palm. Speaking in the ancient tongue of the demons, he then hurls his palm into Erys stomach.
"Ancient Magic ; Unlocked Potential"
A symbol would appear at the center of her stomach for a brief moment, this wouldn't be a permanent symbol more like a temporary solution until she would be able to unlock the magic spell eventually on her own. But this wasn't just about learning one spell, this was about her learning how to harvest the energy and apply it to anything later on.
If it struck, she would start to feel more of her energy unlocked from this sudden strike.
"Now then, follow my steps."
Cong would proceed to clap his hands together.
"Focus all of your energy in your hand. Once you start to feel it, the energy should be visible to your energy color."
Cong would demonstrate it and it would should purple to be his aura color.
"Next, you will want to channel your energy starting from your stomach. Get that energy to build up and control it. Send that energy to your hands."
Once she was done with that, Cong would proceed to the next step.

Erys took a deep breath and closed her eyes as Yangcong channeled the five purple flames to his fingertips before embedding them with one swift motion against her stomach. With an audible sizzle, the alkaguíria gasped, eyes becoming wide before this weird feeling that mixed the likes of pain and relief together, almost as if something constraining her had been lifted off her shoulders with a wrenching pull. Perhaps the best way to put it was to compare it to the gradually settling comfort one felt after pulling a bandage that left behind an angry red welt.
The alkaguíria lowered her gaze to her stomach, prodding the symbol now plastered over it. "Urgh, is this permanent?" Worst case scenario, she'd just have to pluck the parcel of epidermis bearing that unsightly sigil away before allowing her regenerating factor to take care of the nasty gash.
Then, her ghastly eyes flickered with a glimmer of potency that she felt coursing throughout her figure; somehow, what Yangcong had done positively benefited the flow of árula circulating from her heart to her every cranny and nook. "Yes, I am ready." Despite her hot-tempered personality and great sadism, Erys proved to be quite the spectacular student. Either she had a knack for magic or she was simply talented, for she effortlessly called a gigantic amount of árula from her core, her stomach, to her palm. It shined with a transparent glow that radiated across the interior of the train. "Like this?"

"No this is not permanent. It will fade within a few hours or so. Also yes you are doing it right. Now then repeat after me."
Afterwards, Cong proceeded to chant in the ancient language of the demons.
"Open Portal!"
After he said that, the flow of energy from his arms began to tingle, which gave the sign that the energy was being sucked up and now drained in order to be used. Now that same energy was moving right beside Cong as it started to flow in a counter clockwise type of position. Going from a slow pace at first to a medium and finally a fast pace. As the aura kept spinning at a fast rate finally it was here. The portal had opened up and the portal he had summoned would take him no where since he didn't link it to anywhere specifically which became the next step in the process.
"Now as you can see, the portal doesn't show the location on where you want to go. Since I am bound here, I can only choose the location that I have been to here. So think of a location you have been to and then the portal will link the location instantly."
Post by Erys "Monica" Azenor on Sept 10, 2024 18:52:38 GMT -5
With the confirmation that the sigil would eventually fade away, Erys' only concern was dismissed, allowing her to fully focus on the task at hand. Once more, Yangcong spoke an incantation in the derelict tongue. The alkaguíria repeated it with painstaking effort. No results. Did she fumble the formula? She tried again, this time taking her time to pronounce each and every single syllable succinctly.
"Open Portal!"
Mirroring Yangcong's own results, a shimmer of energy began to sparkle from Erys' palm, shifting off to her side where it rotated in a counterclockwise fashion. Her pallid árula kept spinning and spinning, its momentum increasing until the energy line drawn into the air became a perfect closed circle. Yet, what was inside was unable to be discerned. Some sort of warbling energy conflux that rose high inside the portal before collapsing onto itself with a ripple fueling another cycle? Somehow, it felt incomplete.
Yes, there was a single ingredient missing: A thought formed from an intention and memory which she needed to tap into in order to tie the portal's energy to an existing location. The redhead's lips curled upward, displaying an absolutely manic grin preceding her abrupt laughter! "MWAHAHAHA! HERE I GO~ SEE YAH, YANGCONG! It is true what they say about you: You're such a naive dunce~ Truly, a fool among fools." With a raspberry blown his way, Erys was sucked into the portal.
There was a moment of silence that hung in the air. It felt like an eternity.
Then, he felt the nudge of an elbow poking him in the ribs. It was Monica who waved at him with a coy, conceited countenance. "Just kidding, hah! I got you good, didn't I? I'd never do you dirty like that..." At least not until Maxsuz ordered it. "I thought about pranking you by teleporting to the wagon behind that one. The mission was a tremendous success! All I had to do was sneaking back in with itty bitty footsies~"

Betrayed again?! Cong watched as she entered the portal and yet... he could still sense her presence. She couldn't have gotten far... now whe- Cong turned to see her hit his rib as he stared at her with a serious glare.
"It was a nice prank. I will have to remember that once I plan to exterminate you once I get revived."
He would casually walk away with confidence in his step as the train came to a stop and they were at their destination. He then looked over his shoulder and smirked.
"Just kidding. I will just kidnap you and torture you instead. Now lets head to the bridge now. "
Cong would step out the train and headed to the surface. He felt anxiety for the first time and knew that the time had come. Now walking up to the surface, he finally stood in front of two bridges that went into two different directions. He knew that one path of the bridge would lead him to the living realm, while the other would send him to the most dangerous section of hell that one could imagine. It was a 50/50 chance and he stared at his partner if she was still following and spoke up.
"The only way this works is if we both walk down each pathway. One path leads to the living realm and the other leads to the most dangerous sector of hell. Your candle will be fading soon so you would end up in the living realm no matter what choice you picked. However for me... Its the one chance to get out of here and its base on a flip of a coin..."
Cong was nervous to the point where he couldn't contain himself as he started to sweat. He really wanted to get out of here.

Most would have felt a sense of dread upon hearing these words from the callous criminal known as Yangcong. For Erys, however, the threats of being tortured or utterly annihilated were nothing more than good fun. "Pinky promise~?" The alkaguíria blew a raspberry at the winking man, holding her hands up in the air with peace signs. Then, as it was established when she accepted to aid the man with one of his errands, Erys followed in his wake with her mind ready for whatever next step their journey would take. "For real, tho! When I get stronger —which shouldn't take too long if the Maestro's words about my talent are to be believed— I definitely want for us to spar." Magic and technology; Erys never squared up against an opponent using a masterful blend of both.
Would their journey come to an end so soon? Apparently, it'd have to, for they both stepped out of the train with the final destination stretching before their very eyes: The Golden gate twin bridges of Allius. This time around, there was no knockoff crima elf to play a dirty trick on them. Yes, this time was going to set them apart, wasn't it? Erys looked at Yangcong with a pout. "D'aw! A shame that our misadventures have to end so soon, don't you think? Welp, uh, guess I'll take the right since that's my good hand for my alkálipe, m'kay? If you miss your shot, then know that you can alway try again after you've tore all these cringe demons to mince! Shouldn't be that hard given your strength..." Unless there were some kind of cosmic rules preventing one to use the twin bridges twice, but Erys didn't know about that.
The redhead began walking the path of the right bridge, her árula senses dialing up to eleven thanks to the massive amount of energy emitted by the bridge once she set her bandaged feet on its golden surface. Her body was shrouded by a golden glow, its presence within the realm fading with a flicker making her whole form translucent. Where would she end up? She was mere seconds away from finding out...

Cong had never heard of this pinky promise before. He had his hand to his chin with a smirk.
"Thats right pinky promise. and we will kid, we will spare each other once you get stronger. It won't be for long kid, we will see where it takes us huh..."
She was the first to step into the bridge, going to the right side and as she entered Cong could no longer sense her ki signature. He guessed that she was teleported elsewhere that he couldn't track. So Cong took the left side and as he was taking the long walk down the bridge, a flash of light had consumed his face. He was.... not in the place he wanted to go to. He wasn't in the living realm, instead... he was in the most dangerous section of hell and to make matters worst, he was on a single pillar that was only 10ft tall and only his body could barely stand on the platform that he was standing on. Below him was a bottomless pit.... the entire area was nothing but a darkness around him. He knew where he was at and accepted his fate. He fell into the abyss and woke up laying on the ground as a mutated demon now placing him in a cage and smirked at him.
"Oi Groga! Look at what we got here! We got another fool who decided to play chance with the golden bridges!"
The cage had instantly suppressed Cong's power and dropped his battle power to that of 1,000. Cong was in a demon prison camp. Groga had showed up, a massive tall and slender mutated demon.
"Looks like its a saiyan or maybe a tuffle because of his AMOUR"
Cong sat in the cage in sorrow, knowing his freedom was taken away from him....

Whether due to a stroke of serendipity or the Otherworld's spirits imposing their fickle whims, Erys was transported back to her room located somewhere on Earth in the mortal realm. More precisely, in one of the Orchestra's bases located there. The alkaguíria looked at her makeup stand where a picture of herself and Maxsuz taking a selfie was hung to give the candle a quick glance. King Yemma's right ear wax had finally run dry.
With a satisfied sigh given after a long day of adventuring, the redhead nonchalantly flopped in one of the gigantic bean bags scattered across her room. She sank in the plushness of the squishy thing, fingers spread wide and spine taking a pronounced arch as she stretched. "Time for a nap~" Even though Yangcong was currently probably exposed to some, well, actual living Hell, Erys was all comfy and it is all that truly mattered to her, in the end. The old war criminal taught her well how to use teleportation magic and Erys planned to put these portals to good use by creating some árula techniques centered around them very soon.
"Mh~ I should go on a date with him soon..." She wistfully muttered as her eyes closed, referring to her strapping alkaguírio inamorato. The redhead wanted to absolutely devour him and to gut him like a fish, yes, but she also craved... tenderness, exploration, and making memories. That last part was especially important given their lifestyle; every single day could potentially be their last one.
