"Lottus."
She was awfully quick to answer his confused thought, interjecting just as he tilted his head and confusion. She almost mockingly did the same, only slipping a bit by the elbow perched on the counter. She righted herself before she went through with the motion instead focusing in on Nasuas he spoke highly of this 'Cheri'. Perhaps his better half as well with how flowery it was. She couldn't imagine half of the saiyans she's met ever settling down with a 'partner'. But she also hasn't met that man, the one that stuck out as different was one who admitted to being raised elsewhere.
It captured a strange image in her mind.
"Mmh. The godling we killed was one thing. Being tossed into the demon realm was something we didn't even think possible. I believe it one of the few reasons such a place has such a tight lock over it now. Revived souls like Lottus and undead roaming the land we were used to dealing with, to deal with armies made for war and pillaging? In the sorry state we were in it's a miracle other shinjin even had time to wipe the slate clean."
Tsuya is open about her orders shortcomings and defeat here. Not like anyone was truly invincible after all. From what Nasu's seen she was more pragmatic than diehard anyways.
"What would he think... To hear what he thought, just one more time? That'd mean so much. But his word was betrayed by the very gods he would have looked to for guidance in another life. He'd understand. Shion's part in this was put to rest the moment I killed his killer. Made that demon suffer a far worse fate than being stricken by the blade, that one."
She smiled again. The cold and sadistic bent returning to it as Nasu brought about dark thoughts again. Even if it wasn't his intention. The black blade at her side felt heavy.
"Would Cheri give her life for yours?"
