Blood Mines

As the receptionist was doing her nails, a woman had shown up and she called her over.

Receptionist: “are you looking for something?”

About that time, Dr Valentine was done with their office stuff and headed back to the lobby. Her left hand was in her lab pocket so casually while her right hand was looking over the prices that they had at a local restaurant. With her left hand now adjusting her glasses, she looked at the girl and she recognize her instantly. The same woman who broke into her house!!!!!! The nerve of some people!!!! But Dr Valentine couldn’t resort to violence out of nowhere. It would not only draw question marks but it would also make it more obvious that this person could be Yangcong since who else could she have robbed a mansion other than him.

Dr Valentine: “I am assuming you are here for the blood ruby job. Your assignment is very simple. Just head down over to the blood ruby mines and collect as much as you can and bring it here. The more you bring me, the more Zeni you will get.”

Dr Valentine smiled as she looked over at her receptionist.

Dr Valentine: “I’m calling WindowDash and getting me some chinese.”

Dr Valentine calling up the restaurant and ordering her food as she walks away from the both of them. While she was doing that, the receptionist filing her nails until the next person would come in.

Dr Valentine was done ordering her food as she walked back as the woman was speaking. Clearly this woman wanted specifics so she would give her it.

Dr Valentine: “ I am Dr Valentine, large size ones will get you 5k each, medium size ones will get you 3k each, and small ones get you 1k each. And yes you will bring all of them here. If you need capsules we will happily provide it.”

The receptionist would pull out a jar of capsules and placing them on the desk.

Dr Valentine: “the location of the mines is so west of here. The exactly coordinates is [REDACTED].”

After that was done with, Dr Valentine would get on her phone and talking to one of her employees.

Dr Valentine: “what do you mean you are calling out. We need you here. A family emer?”

Dr Valentine walking away briefly.

Dr Valentine: “you either show up today or you’re getting fired.”

Looks like she had just loss a scientist but oh well she had more than enough scientist to complete the laser canon project that was going to be built to destroy Hatchi City and all of the destron in it. Dr Valentine walking back to the woman if she was still here.

As she went off to do the collecting of blood mines, Dr Valentine would promptly place her fingers against her glasses to properly fix them in place. Dr Valentine was always two steps ahead as she pulled out a capsule and activated it on the receptionist table. As it opened up, the smoke faded and a brief case had now appeared. Opening it up, a drone was taken out of the brief case and now the drone was turned on via phone. Now the drone was now traveling to where the girl was and watching her every movement. As the drone got closer to the girl, a small screen would appear above the drone’s head and now Dr Valentine’s face was on the screen as the both of them were now traveling together.

Dr Valentine: “the sooner the rubies are collected the better.”

Dr Valentine spotting the cave and pressing a button on her phone, an invisible green scanner was now scanning the cave’s interior for a quick second.

Dr Valentine: “seems like you aren’t alone. Give people are in there. And based on the readings here. These are some strong guys. If they cause you any trouble. Take them down.”

Deep within the cave itself, a giant size man with a heavy black beard, green eyes, long dirty mane hair, yellow rotten teeth, a beer belly, and a cutlass on his hip, spoke to his men with a loud tone of voice expressing passion and aggressiveness, along with spit every so often coming out of his big mouth. Also wearing a Captain’s hat that had seen better days.

Captain: “can you imagine this mines is just out for the public?!?! This is gonna get us rich!!!!!!!!”

The slender pirate with a gap tooth and blue and white strip shirt with two cutlass on his hip responded back.

Slender: “haha you got that right boss! Hehe, after killing that dumb mercenary Gabu the Great. We can pretty much take on anyone.”

Captain BlackJack looked at his crew and chuckled.

Captain: “dumb frog thought he could beat me? My bounty is legendary next to that Yangcong war criminal and I’m the better pirate compared to Captain Salvo.”

Dr Valentine just placing her glasses at the center of her face as Prim states that they would raise the price per dig. Clearly this girl was much poorer than original had thought.

Captain: “my name is captain blackjack, I am the strongest most powerful pirate in west city. So you and your little toy can get out of my face!”

The captain pulling out their cutlass and stabbing to stab the woman. The Slender stepping to the woman’s left side and attempting to slice her up with both of his cutlass. The powerful blows would be in different from one another, so even if she were to dodge it, none of the attacks would clash the other.

Slender: you messed with the wrong pirates. And you are about to see why!”

The captain’s teeth had chomp together as he applied full force behind his attack. He also had a secret weapon in reserve just in case, his giant club with nails attached to it as it was on his back.

About that time, a third pirate had arrived and carrying two daggers as he also tried stabbing Prim straight in her back. The third pirate looked smaller compared to the other two titan size pirates.

Whoever this woman was, she wasn’t exactly frail and weak like the captain and the other pirates had originally thought. Having hopped onto the man’s swords, he clicked his teeth in frustration. Before he could speak, her kick had struck his face and a few teeth were removed as a result of that. As she hoped over and punching down the captain’s spine, he took a few steps forward as he felt a burning sensation on his back from the strike as he had collapsed from the pain with his tongue sticking out. The last and final pirate stabbed her, but it seemed like it didn’t work as the third pirate had now cowered away and ran. The drone would witness all of this with a light smile across Dr Valentine’s face.

Dr Valentine: “good work.”

The drone would fly into the air and leaving her to her own devices to continue the job. Meanwhile Dr Valentine was busy eating her food and drink back at her office. This was clearly going to be the much easier days than normal since she didn’t have to go out and do the work when she could pay the next person to do the job for her.

The drone would start to scan the cave itself as it identifies that there are many gems within the cave itself. More than enough that it would help his laser building device and using those gems would be a great help for Dr Valnetine’s work.

It’s unfortunate that the woman would end up working for free when all this was done. Dr Valentine had other things in mind and sending the workers home early as she called in her personal crew, dressed up as scientist and being apart of Yangcong’s rogue syndicate faction. He sat at the receptions front desk waiting for her arrival as she calmly looked to the rogue members in front of her.

Dr Valentine: “when she comes back. She will be experimented on.”

Rogue tuffle 1: “just like on plant boss?”

Dr Valentine: “that’s right.”

As the hours went by, Dr Valentine was keeping idle as she was busy doing employee payroll. She needed to keep her earthling employees happy while she was building this laser to attack Hatchi City. Dr Valentine was going to make sure that destron gas and any tuffles on Hatchi would be exterminated. She calmly drank her beverage of whisky on the rocks.
