Another Chance Meeting (Bansho)

Of course he did not expect his somersault clouds to be enough to just freeze her in place, but he could at least race for the banana with better chances now. Even now that was something that he thought just out of nowhere, given the amount of imagination he had he could probably at least pull a few tricks like these, but there was to consider the fact that his opponent was marginally stronger and he did not know to what point she could push herself or how much she could actually pull her own punches without accidentally making a dent into the scales.

"Hehe, see ya later!"

He told Jackie while by now he was already diving his way onto the object of interest, the banana. Which that alone was of course a tad... contradictory given he did not really like bananas that much, but in any case, he flew down as quickly as possible but when his hand was finally about to grasp the object, well, it just well, moved away. Almost magically so. When his eyes widened and the reflection of the light finally hit his own sight, for something wrapped the banana. Similarly perhaps to what she was using to keep him in place earlier?

"Whaa!! Noo, not fair!"

He blurted out to himself before he watched the object suddenly fall out of his grasp, and the monkey simply dismissed the clouds from Jackie and had them once more rush to recover the monkey, with a thump as he huffed out a massive and bloated cloud of breath that he had held in his stomach while he was once more catching his breath. His eyes looked over Jackie only to find the woman reuniting with the banana once more, or rather the object was returning to its master. He blinked a bit, but he would press the attack, no matter what, he shot off from where he stood with his cloud that carried him across the skies before free falling off by Jackie, but this time his body began to flow and before she knew it, it unraveled itself into a massive elephant that attempted to crush both Jackie and the banana under his weight.

Bansho did pretty much just think of the first thing he could at that time. He did not really think it thorough way too much, but that was part of his style- his greatest weapon was the unpredictability that he relied upon with each mighty strike that he brought down upon his enemy, but this one was a tough nut to crack for she would bear just as much experience on the table as his unpredictability, while of course the monkey remained steadfast on his way to crush Jackie, the elephant struggled against her own strength.

"Ahahah! What did you believe? Transforming into a bird is merely one of seventy-two transformations I have mastered!"

The elephant, or at least a voice from the creature spoke back to Jackie, and it did of course belong to the monkey guy.

Bansho was already in a pinch, but apparently she could at least withstand his weight to some degree, as he had expected at least to flat out stomp her, but all of a sudden she began fueling her own force with her flames, but, if she was going to try and get rid of him, he had another idea in mind, while she pressed forth- he chose to completely nullify the opposing force, rather the form smoothly unraveled itself upon its own shape, only for the material to return to its original form as Jackie would essentially push herself into him, if she did not stop her own flames during his transformation.

And Bansho himself would drop down to try and tackle her away from the banana while his own tail would try and wrap around the shielded object that he was trying to obtain.

"Hehehehe!"

Bansho took it for granted of course, the seventy-two transformations were merely just a part of him, so while of course he could not just talk but obtain the power of said animal while maintaining the strongest part of his being; the intellect. While it came at virtually no drawback, it was also not always the best option depending on the context, situation and what or whom he was fighting, so in short, there was never a wrong choice but not all the choices were right either. In this case, he needed something heavy and cumbersome to get rid of; so the elephant was a no brainer.

"Seventy-three? It does not work that way!"

They were not seventy-two just so for no reason, there was actually an entire reason as to how and why, but well, of course it was just a quick line she spoke right back at him, but for example when she was actually overpowering his mass and weight, he chose to swap options.

In this case, the best option was going back to his original form. In this way, lighter and of course provided with limbs and appendages, he could better actually tackle her off to the side, where suddenly he managed to get each other knocked onto the ground, where he tried his best at least to keep her steady while securing the object with his tail, if it was not that the Kami had one more trick up her sleeve.

"The solar what?"

He repeated right after her, if it was not that suddenly his eyes were met with flashing lights which caused his tail to snap the object away while a blank nothingness blinked straight into his sight, his very hands let go of whatever to just rush off to his eyes before he let go of his balance and found himself drop down, probably against her or somewhere, hard to tell since he began rolling back and forth onto the ground while whining.

"Ow-ow-ow-ow- MY EYES!!"

The thing itself about this technique was that it appeared not to help him out a whole lot no matter what, even if he closed his eyes, the flash was bright enough to the point where he could still see the light, regardless it meant that if he was to open his eyes, he would probably jolt over again, therefore he had to keep them closed for the meanwhile. However that also meant that he would have to just sit there and wait? Hmm, no that was not in his style at all, but if he could not see her, there was little to do, unless...

There was a technique he did imply every now and then, perhaps it was about time that he would make use of it. While he sat there, his own mind began tickling the area around him, and almost like a shockwave, he could feel her essence, and in that regard, also the banana given it was an object made out of energy after all.

Bansho quirked his brow, pressed all five fingers of his feet to hop onto the air, and before long, his body would dance and whirl through the air in a backflip, both majestic and powerful enough to the point where one had to question whether or not he planned for it to be that powerful to begin with, his objective was to try and crash into her, while his hands could yet once more extend in a further embrace for the object that he yearned to hold: the banana.

Well, truth be told it was not like Bansho fully realized the extent of what he had just done... in reality, all he did was try his best with what he had, and well in a way he had pretty much forgotten what all of this was for- it was like he just got lost in the heat of it, and had been just having fun. Maybe a key component that appeared to be missing from his life of luxury and ease in the forest, indeed, this was a feeling that he had been seeking all along, and yet how come it was this difficult to find this one thing each and every time. It was like he had always wanted to feel this way.

"Oooh!"

He stated after his hands clearly felt like they snatched something indeed, and when his eyes popped right open he could see it. Well! That was about it! He launched the banana in the sky and just began launching it back and forth, until he caught it with his tail and let it slide back to his side, where he grabbed it again with one hand.

"There ya go! I got it! Wait, why did I have to get this in the first place?"

Bansho's finger lifted to the temple of his head and just idly scratched, unsure not so much so because the message was lost on him, but how did any of this actually begin? Oh, did he ask her to spar? Or was it a lesson? Hmm. Weird, he had just so much fun he did not even know how much time had passed by now, but he tossed the banana in the air and then just opened his mouth wide, trying to absolutely devour the thing in one go.

"Ooh! Tricks? Oh, the things I do? Yeah! They are pretty good eh? Sadly like you say I agree, there needs to be some technique. Problem is, hmm."

He just mumbled a bit. It was like he believed he was a tad better than what he currently was, but he could not shake the feeling that something was off in any case, so in the end he just shrugged it off and perhaps he had failed to read things correctly, so even if he was not as skilled as he thought he was, he would just fix that.

"Nothing! I think I misremember some stuff. Weird. In any case, there is no problem at all! I will just build up my technique to the point where no one is a match. No matter how long it takes! Just you wait for that power to skyrocket too. But it is a little hard right now. My teacher is kind of... gone? Like I passed by the old timer's island, but it's like... gone? There is absolutely nothing in there. Maybe he moved or something."

But well, if he had to sum it up, he just gave Jackie a little thumbs up pretty much.

"It was fun! I think it managed to hit the spot I was craving for a little while, hehe. Thanks."

Well, she was right.

Spars were also fine, but most of the time they just happened to be... uhh, how could he describe it? Boring. Most of the time it was just about stalling and whatnot, he found that not to be as exciting as a real battle at that point, at least this one exercise required some thinking to do than just being a complete back and forth until one would just begin soaking damage or call it a day.

"Hehe, yeah! And by far it was definitely a good kind of training. Helped me brush off some of the rust for sure."

He said, but well even now that he had conquered the objective, it was sorta back to square one. Even though he had managed to scrape together a few things for his future projects, at least he was slowly building up something compared to what he previously had to do: nothing but exist. Almost, as if he had become aware of his emptiness and chose to do something about it.

"Yay. I passed! What do I win besides the banana? Any other goods for the taking? Don't tell me you also have peaches!"

He did half expect her to pull out a peach or two, other than the banana. Banana was fine, but he preferred peaches, it was just a different tier. She also inquired about his master, and well, the name was oddly strange, it was like two different figures came to mind when he thought of 'Master', and each distinctly different. But sure, the one he was thinking about, was the old man that had sort of raised him in a sense. Was he not also the one to have named him?

"Ooh! Yeah. I can not find his place anymore. Or well, I did but there was nothing."

The monkey king appeared to tilt his head sideways a bit, when she hinted at potentially teaching him more. Well, if she could help him out a little bit, he did not really mind it. Besides, what could potentially happen?

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Sure! Sounds like a good idea to me. Sure beats doing it on your own."

Bansho quirked an eyebrow at the mention of this fantastical place, the lookout, it did sound familiar but he did not exactly remember where he had heard such a term, but he nodded his head and approached Jackie, before tilting his head towards the camps.

"I am in! Should we go and have dinner first?"
