He stood quietly.
Indeed Nasu was ever as stoic. Not much had changed. Even if he had reached the power of legends, ever since then, his only concern was to make sure no other powerful beings such as himself would be allowed to do as they pleased. That was the only grace of a power like that. Other than that, he did not care until recently, when his spirit had found renewed flame, and only now perhaps he began to strive for greater heights for the mere purpose of reaching them.
What cost those heights would involve was yet to be understood by the very man. What he knew was that at this point in time, all he could do was make sure at least the younger generation could be guided rightfully so. Zuqetta herself was way younger than he was, and so powerful as well, but he did not seem to fear that such power could get to her head. She seemed to have gone on a journey of her own, and to have grown to some extent.
But even Nasu was surprised when he heard what felt quite a heartful thanks coming from the fellow Saiyan. His eyes widened ever so slightly at least, and he heard her out indeed, but of course, he did not know what to say. Or how to feel like, understandably so perhaps. He had basically seen her grow up a lot, and while that could be said about a lot of the younger fighters that he met on his time in this part of the galaxy, she displayed perhaps the most growth out of anyone he knew with her newfound mindset.
It was of course tough for him too to even respond properly.
"You have a lot of time. Even if you make it to the throne, that is not going to be the end, you know."
Indeed. If anything, it would merely be the beginning. But he wished not to emphasize that part, he would rather not concern her yet with such details when her rule was yet to begin. Well, of course, Nasu too refrained to say more, but if anything the man himself displayed a short smile.
"Do not worry about it. You better go and get ready before someone steals your chance."
The swordsman said, all the while he picked his sword up and carefully adjusted it behind his back. Indeed, the man too could wrap this day; perhaps quite the most fruitful one of them all thus far. He felt like he understood now, what he was missing. But that was a story for another time, rather. Instead the man looked over Zuqetta shortly before he nodded his head in salute to her while she left, while he remained there, standing quietly.
A few moments later, a figure appeared and stood next to him. With the curly and long crimson hair, his own eyes turned over to the skies and just watched over.
"Curious."
Nasu in turn simply hummed back at him, as if unsure what to think of it, neither what to ask of him, instead he simply let the ghastly figure have his turn to speak.
"You seem real proud for some reason."
The man's short smile turned a bit somber rather, before he looked back down. It was hard to put into words, but a part of him pictured his own family for a moment. Although he was the last standing man of them all, yet a sliver of nostalgia in his heart hoped any one of his kids would have turned out to be like Zuqetta, if only any one of them had survived the massacre on his home world. To which, the ghastly figure simply shot a glance over his way.
"Come on."
Ruyi remained silent until then in respect for his loss, and just snapped his gaze away from the knight after he had been addressed. All the while Nasu packed up and began to head away. Much like he said, he could likely not assist the Kingdom unless it was for the greater good. To involve himself in political stuff was simply not his style to begin with, but he would have also helped Zuqetta one day if she'd need his aid.
"Best to get a nap while the world is not ending or stuff like that."OOC Notes/Items Used: Thread Exit!
