The Precipice (Closed)

With what Rhapsody has been describing, her being knocked right out and taken elsewhere severely hampered her ability to recall any significant enough memories of what was going on at the Lookout, and and such, had little information left to offer to Jackie or Moire. She shared a few comments and jests at the expense of Megis, who to her was still alive in her mind, but Moire knew the truth about Megis' ultimate fate, and she didn't know if Jackie would share the fate of that majin with Rhapsody. Moire's eyes glance back over at Jackie, who mentions nothing of it. She herself refrains from saying anything on that particular manner, crossing her arms as she continues to listen in.

Back to Rhapsody, she seems to buy the majin's lie regarding the ultimate fate of this Griselda, and ultimately Usumidori in the process as well, still shining positively despite how cold and overall aloof she's been. It's still something she may never entirely understand, this positivity around strangers, especially given what little information Rhapsody has about Moire. Regardless, she gives a silent nod back to Rhapsody, catching that wink that she gave to Jackie. Her eyes dart between the two as Jackie seems to have gotten her message, mentioning that she'll help with the search before offering her to stay around for a while alongside Moire herself.

The majin was, as always, hesitant at first, but seeing just what kind of person Rhapsody appears to be on the surface and with a bit of extra prying, she saw little harm in it all. "I... Suppose I wouldn't mind allowing Rhapsody here for some time. I imagine you'd need a break with all that you've been doing up here, Jackie." Moire sets her arms back down as she relaxes around the two.

Jackie looked between the pair, after finishing patting the pillar she leaned on for support, as if trying to gauge what she meant by 'imposing' on her time here. Maybe the kami was far too outgoing to consider her generosity taken in such a way. She figured she was just going to get some takeout with anyone around...

"Impose? Oh, no, there'd be no such thing. I'd happily cater anyways!"
She corrects, but having seen the winged girl make up her mind, she didn't argue past that. Brushing some of her short hair aside and out of her brow. "Regardless... It's good to have met you as well, Rhapsody. I hope your quest for your friend goes well, kais above I know the world needs a break from the heartache sometimes. You've my blessing if you wish to visit again. Lookout's open to any and all wishing to seek it. Even if they might not know how to reach it." She pushes herself off the pillar to give Rhapsody a nod and wave off as she took wing back to the skies that brought her here.

And then there were two. Jackie was a little sidetracked when Rhapsody came by, but it was a nice distraction from the little room tour she wanted to give the majin. Or, frankly, anyone she knew. She was a little proud of the work as it came to her. Jackie turns back to cross her arms and gesture off to the side with her head and an arm.

"What a nice girl. I gotta show you the rest, come on."
The rest of their afternoon would consist of reminiscing over an old building and explaining her wall art to Moire, skipping over the personal stuff surrounding the sun monks and the like... It was at least a warm sight, if a little unfinished. She hadn't even gathered a library yet!
