Electric Caffeination [Split]

Bean! soon received an answer to the question of whether or not Jyushin was going to stop posing anytime soon. And the answer it turned out, was yes. Just as the Caffeinated Crusader reached the Apex of his jump his foe disappeared behind him. Bean! heard Jyushin say something or other, at this point he'd honestly stopped paying attention.

He whipped around at the last second just as the explosion went off. A stray punch from his stretchy limb managing to knock Jyushin's hand blade slightly off-target, but only slightly. The resulting attack still hurt...a lot. But as they say in the Superhero codebook, pain is just character development entering the body.

 Whatever resulting cry of pain exited Bean! was drowned out by the noise of the explosion which seemed to draw the eye of the citizens below. A smoking lump of organic mass flew back out of the explosion, slowly regrowing and reforming into the shape of Captain Bean!, his cape in tatters and half of his mask broken. He slammed into a nearby office building, tumbling through the desks and over the workers as he was flew back. Stopping only when he hit one of the pillars within the building itself. He shook his head, dazed, everything was blurry.

"BEAN! AM NO...NO AM THINK CAN DO THIS..." He said to himself, terrified office workers looking his way. His brown form was scorched and still regenerating. The pillar he lay against began to crack and splinter, the building shook. "WHAT AM ME THINKING?" The building shook again and shifted, a few of the workers tripped. Some desperately running to the emergency exits as Bean! had his moment of self-reflection.

He gazed over the in the distance, to see Jyushin still floating there, looking all smug and stuff with his ability to fly and what not. Bean! thought he could be a hero but...it seemed he couldn't save anyone. Even someone who was supposed to be his teammate had abandoned him.

A chunk of the ceiling broke off and smashed onto Bean!'s head, snapping him out of his stupor. "HUH? UH OH..." No doubt about it. The force from Bean! striking this building was bringing it down...or at the very least this floor. Another chunk of the ceiling fell, about to smash down onto an unfortunate woman. At the last second one of Bean!'s stretchy limbs flew out and caught it. In that moment he stood, his body flowing with energy once again.

Another hand stretched out and opened the emergency exit some of the workers had been struggling with. He used his stretchy form to guide everyone off the floor and out of the building. "ME AM HERO, NO MATTER WHAT!" With a slap dash of magic he summoned enough chewing gum to patch up the pillar where he had impacted, hopefully that would hold the building together long enough. He marched forward, up to the window. Staring towards Jyushin. "IS THAT ALL YOU AM HAVE GOT FOR CAPTAIN BEAN!"

Jyushin's head would narrowly miss impact with Bean!'s own as the Super-Majin fell back down to Earth. "HEHE! MAYBE NOW YOU BREATH AM SMELL BETTER!" It was unlikely that the comment would reach Jyushin's ears given the distance and the rushing wind, but it still felt good to say.

As much as part of Bean! wanted to get away, to regroup and decide how best to punch this guy. He knew he couldn't go too far. The only thing distracting Jyushin from the portal forge thing and from hurting innocent people, was the fact that he seemingly really wanted to kill Bean! And as much as Bean! had no intentions of dying. He needed to keep Jyushin's focus. At least until the other guys back at the weird portal forge thing had broken it...at least that's what he assumed they were doing. 

With a flick of his wrist he summoned a long, tensile string of bubblegum that he used to swing just like one of his favourite Superheroes, Arachnid-Fella.

Arachnid-Fella never gave up, and neither could Bean! There were people counting on him...he assumed. To be honest the people down below probably had no idea what was going on, but they were probably counting on him.

As he swung through the air, Bean! thought he could see small figures flying up towards the battle. Members of his impromptu Superhero Squad! Clearly they had dispatched the evil Mr. Villain and they were now racing to help aid their Captain. Which means his plan had worked, the plan that had definitely been his plan the whole time and not just now all of a sudden. He'd kept Jyushin distracted. Now hopefully his friends from below would beat this guy up, and hopefully they'd beat him up so hard he wouldn't talk so much anymore.

Bean! let go of his last bubblegum string and soared through the air, flourishing with a backflip as he made his way right to Jyushin, despite the fact his foe's energy was spiking through the roof. Bean! couldn't sense energy, so he could strike this foe with a smile on his face. Even if this was the end.

Bean! got real close, a small sprinkle of dark magical energy emanating from his form. As if some creature from the Otherworld was gazing upon him in this moment. He stared Jyushin straight in the eye, moments before the energy blast was released and said two simple words. "TRANSGRESS DEEZ..."

And then everything went dark. The energy surged through Bean! and splattered his gooey self across the sky and the city. He would reform, but it was gonna take a while before he was back in peak physical condition...

Chomei shot into the sky, giving Alva a fierce side-eye as he lept. He'd have liked a proper one-on-one, moreso because he wanted to kick her butt than for any other more noble reason. But he doubted he'd ever really like this woman, no matter what bets he made. It was a gut feeling, he thought.

The air rushing against his skin, he focused his gaze high into the clouds. Every so often, as he lost speed, he would kick the sky roughly and propel himself ever further. It was unfortunate that he couldn't fly like this Kyten fellow—It seemed like it was much faster. With his mighty dragon senses, he could vaguely make out the fight high above, despite how far away he was. Try as he might, Bean! was no match, and soon... He seemed to split apart into a gelatinous brown cloud. Seeing it filled Chomei with a sense of anger, at both himself and Jyushin.

He determined himself to whoop the malevolent Majin, but it became quickly apparent that the man had no desire to stick around. He shot off with a speed that Chomei couldn't hope to match middair, while he was yet to arrive, and Chomei felt a pang of frustration. He reached Kyten, who after a moment, turned and asked him something.

"It's fine little man, I should've been faster," He admitted, sighing audibly and looking at all the globs of brown Bean! scattered throughout the sky, Chomei thought for a moment. Leering at a few, he noted that he could sense vitality, and see it too, in all of these little Majin parts. With some certainty, he said "Um... I think he'll be fine? As strange as that is..."

Even as he spoke, he could see some of the globs slowly drifting towards one another and remerging. Yeah... he'll be fine hopefully, He thought. Turning his gaze on the bug, he put his hands on his hips while kicking every so often to keep himself level with the bug. "... Well, it seems we're the only ones left eh? What a wild day... Feels almost like a month has gone by," He muttered. Looking down at the distant earth, he sighed. "I've gotta go make sure no funny business happens at the furnace, but uh, nice meeting you guy. If you ever feel like hanging out, I've got a dojo opening up in the north..." He explained awkwardly, giving Kyten a wave. "Anyways..."

With that, Chomei let himself fall down. He sincerely hoped Vale wouldn't make him wait—He'd accumalated far too many grudges these days for his own liking. Making Chomei waste a week in some magical cave would definitely put Vale on the shit list... Ah whatever... I'll deel
