CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
(credits to Dragon Ball Super for the art of Pilina, the temp FC)
Treses is a bit odd for the rest of his species when it comes to his appearance and shape. Large, even by Namekian standards, his towering form lands at a staggering 8'2" in height at a complete standing position and weighing multiple hundreds of pounds, with hulking muscles flanking him and defining his body as an absolute unit of an individual. His dark green skin matched well with his traditional Namekian attire of robes and simple clothing.
That being said, to the observer, some parts of him would appear greatly off from traditional Namekians. His antennae were slightly longer than most others, and his teeth more violently shaped. Carnivorous almost, despite his people's diet of almost exclusively plants. His muscle pads were a dark tan color, and his skin a couple shades more dark green than the rest of his people his age range and matched only by the ancient elders who's skin has darkened over the centuries of aging. His fingers were tipped with razor sharp claws where his nails would normally be dull, and his piercing eyes a harsh green to match his body. Everything about him appeared formidable, and his ki energy he expressed was one of violence and determination. To anyone of merit, he'd be easily seen as someone to either avoid, or deal with quickly to prevent whatever plan he had schemed.
BACKGROUND: The story of Treses is one that is told in legends to Namekians as a story of greed, temperament, and morality. The tale spoken very frugally by the elders to the newborn warrior caste so they can know the true evil that exists in the universe, and what comes from allowing them to live among the righteous.
According to the tales, hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions of years prior to today, the developing planet of Namek was still incorporating their ideals together to form proper villages for their people. True castes of warriors, priests, gurus, and healers to allow for the entire species to thrive on their wonderful rock in space. What they did not account for, was the possibility for one of their own to be their potential downfall.
Among the Namekian villagers destined to become farmers was a young Namek hatched from an abnormally small egg. Unknown to the rest of the villagers, this particular Namek was cursed mentally. His inhibitions, his desire was too great to withstand or hold. He did not want to be a farmer. His desire, his want was to pursue a life as a warrior caste member. But as he reached for more at life, he saw more and more to want. When they begrudgingly allowed him to join the warrior recruits, he excelled in his training and began to overcome even the grown trainers who taught them as protectors. As he became too strong to properly contain, he decided he wanted to be the leader of the village. His enforcement of this rule was through strength. Overcoming all of his fellow villagers who wanted fought back and took whatever it was he wanted in his life. One by one he was capturing villages and ruling them under his iron fist as a dictator. Those who lived under the tyranny of this monster knew of him due to his odd skin color and the violent purple ki aura that constantly poured from his body as he fought. He killed many of the warriors sent to stop him, and only after his age caught up to him did he find that he was no longer capable of protecting himself or his wrongfully gained property. As he was captured by a coalition of uncaptured villages, he was given a magical curse by the leading Guru of the villages. He was doomed to never reproduce seldom he would die and reincarnate as his newborn child. There would not be a successful lineage of his kind. They could not risk more Namekians of his kind existing on the planet. It was said that this would be semi-permanent and he would only be free of this curse after his thousandth rebirth.
This came at a cost, however. Every time he spit up an egg and it incubated, his death was no longer permanent. When they killed him at his trial, the egg he had in his incubator in his home cave hatched. The newborn Namek looking at his yolk-covered hand and knew who and where he was. His first time reviving in what would seem like an endless cycle. Using this, he waged a three thousand year war on his people, dying numerous times and returning to life in the eggs at his cave with each death. This continued until the Namekian learned the mistake in a fruitless campaign of carnage. He knew nothing would come of it, and set out to properly train more and more Namekians to his cause. However, as he lived for generations and generations long past he should have died naturally, he found his endless age an uncomfortable and unfortunate side-effect of his curse. Living for longer than he can properly remember, he neglected his duties proper and existed in his cave for eons as a wrinkled, decrepit old Namekian sage who spoke to no one. His final egg, the one thousandth life he would ever live and assumingly his final one he'd have to live before his curse was over, sat in an ancient incubation pod fossilized in time as they existed in a state of seemingly endless meditation.
Some time around a hundred years or so prior to the modern age, the ancient Sage grew weary of his existence. Feeling inside of him an embodiment of hope, that inherent good every soul possessed, and decided it was in his best interest to remove from himself that which hindered his growth as a true Namekian leader. His body barely alive and mentally damaged from the years and years alone without anyone to speak or talk to, he barely managed to use the long-forgotten and illicit technique of division. From his body split another, newer being. One made of all that made Treses capable, and what little light existed in the void of this being. This new creature, this alter ego of the once-successful tyrant of the planet, did not possess all of the same memories or skills as his host form, though inside of his fresh mind was shades, shadows of a horrifying eon of villainy and reclusive destruction across their beautiful green planet. This being, naming himself Namorel, wished to learn from his other half. This prehistoric sage agreed to train and educate the newly created Namek under extreme levels of uncertainty so someone can learn the wise knowledge of the unkilled being he spawned from. Treses hoped that with time, this Namekian who embodied his last remaining level of sensibility for true good in the world, could see his point of view as well. Teaching whatever he could remember as vague as the beliefs and stories were, and when he believed this well-learned Namekian was finally worthy being his successor, he agreed it was finally time for him to die after so long being unable to pass on to be with his ancestors. He purposefully fell from a great dive in his cave, deep into a cavern of stalagmites below. As the spiked rocks ended his being, his other half would hear a noise coming from the forgotten, moss covered incubation pod. The rock that resembled an egg began to crack, flecks of stone hitting the walls as it poured out disgusting black ooze. Inside of the egg was an infant Namekian, the same dark color as the now deceased master Namek, but his eyes aged and worn. The small figure, already beginning to grow larger slightly due to his genetic grown increase, said his name to the second self.
"Treses".
This young Namekian grew to full staggering size as his predecessor and showed no signs of the great wisdom and strength of the Treses of before. He barely remembered his experience, his own history from his genetic memories. So many lifetimes, so many years since his last death. This new form, free of the curse, was a fresh start for the tyrant of antiquity. With this new chance at life, he only had one thing in mind.
