”Where the hell am I?!” Choh let out an exasperated yell as he scrambled out of his destroyed spaceship. He stared with bewilderment at his surroundings. In the distance, a city with technological marvels that far surpassed Earth’s bustled with an almost exaggerated activity. Around him, the foreign foliage of Lychee lay strewn about. It was exactly what he always thought alien plants looked like. He looked back at his pod, which neatly resembled a pile of charred garbage. It hadn't caught fire… yet… but he felt it was extremely close. His entry onto this strange, red planet had been rough… Shaky, violent, fiery, etc. Had anyone else flown it, they’d have probably been killed by this defective lump of junk.
He half thought Cheri might’ve been trying to kill him, but he knew better. He’d left it out, exposed to the elements for near two years. Of course, something had gone wrong. He was just lucky it hadn't gone wrong while he was in the middle of space…
Putting aside that horrific thought, he began to slowly make his way toward the city in the distance. The ship was going nowhere, and he might as well see if he could figure out where he was. He walked slowly towards the bright outline of Hatchi, and after what seemed like hours, entered. There seemed to have been some sort of natural disaster recently, some tents and supplies had been piled up in clumps throughout the city. But for the most part, the city itself resembled its technological outline. It was like one of those movies you’d watch where the future was all “clean streets and tall pristine buildings”. Speedy trains soared overhead and below, the streets moved in odd ways, and there was a jumble of niche robots and vehicles that had hyper-focused purposes. He came across one which kept trying to “clean him”, apparently being programmed to pick up garbage throughout the city. He gawked at all of it like some tourist.
The inhabitants struck him as odd, but familiar. Very, very short people, gnome-like. They reminded him of Cheri… far too much really. It began to dawn on him why that might be. He’d been launched on autopilot to some far-off location, in a pod given to him by the pink-haired woman. Maybe she’d assumed he wouldn't know how to get to her world. It was with a strange mixture of guilt and horror that he began to realize— “... Oh god, I’m on Plant aren't I?”
