Choh let out a resigned sigh as he listened to Megis. He’d sort of figured that the majin would be on his way after his ‘speech’, yet he’d half hoped that he might stick around for a drink or two. He hadn't started this night wanting company, but he’d come to enjoy the pink man’s unusual antics. Still, he understood. From the corner of his eye, he saw a motley bunch of bouncers starting to assemble—Probably in some vain attempt to accost Megis. Maybe even me… He wondered absently. There would doubtlessly be hundreds of complaints. Maybe it was for the best that they be on their way.
Still… Choh looked over at the now abandoned bar, its patrons having fled to the higher levels. Twirling his Gold Card in one hand, he took a step towards it before being stopped by Megis. He gave him a cartoony-looking map which seemed to roughly detail some location in south city. He stared at it for a moment before pocketing it. “Sure, I’ll give you a call every now and then,” He said quietly. Then Megis gave him his own Gold Card, apparently not wanting it. I’ll pawn it off later… He thought, pocketing that too.
And with that, the magical Megis was gone. Choh stared silently after him, before turning and heading toward the bar. By now, sirens blared outside. News Teams were barging in, trying to get a better look at the destruction of the first floor. Choh rummaged by his lonesome along the shelves, trying to find something passable. Mixing together a random assortment of drinks, he tasted.
Ugh… Without really thinking, he took out his flask from before and poured in what was left of the stout. It’ll have to do… He thought sourly. Among the growing choir of voices behind him, he slowly raised his glass in mock toast.
