“That’s probably for the best” Ise said with a grin as the other Ise faded away along with the majority of the other illusory creations once again leaving the duo with just themselves as Ise contemplated the best ways that the Empire could theoretically leverage the powers Ward had, part of her was curious what exactly might occur if she were to try and use such things as by his indication it seemed that the illusions generally made accurate visual depictions, would they attempt to emulate things as best Ise saw them? Somehow actually produce the proper appearance? Be something horrific as the illusion attempts to map entirely non-visual concepts onto a visual medium?
“I tend to keep the full extent of my abilities under wraps for the most part but physical obstacles are rarely ever an actual issue for me, particularly at close enough range that something would be used to physically bar my passage, it is usually best for an ally to assume that I have a rough ‘map’ of everything present in my immediate vicinity, the further out things go the less accurate my mental mapping becomes as it progressively leans on energy detection rather than a blend of senses.” Even if Ward was now perhaps one of her most direct allies by virtue of leading Arcose alongside her she still wanted to keep the specifics of her abilities a secret, Father had made it clear that when it came to things such as this that it was always best to keep everyone guessing on the full extent of your skills, only show what was necessary that way if need be you could use that against them later.
Were Ward not as direct an ally she might have simply lied and implied that her range was far more limited than she had already suggested, perhaps only a few feet, that or she simply would have told him nothing at all.
“It is difficult for me to say exactly how much my drive towards combat is from being a Saiyan, my Father was the Empire’s most prominent General and he was no stranger to active battle himself. He was the one that taught me how to fight and more, so I often attribute it as much to him as I do my biological instincts. I’ve found though that I have a greater willingness to engage in combat in ways that many Saiyans rarely consider. Many Saiyans are driven by a need to prove themselves in single combat for instance, I DO enjoy a fight where I can prove myself but if the odds are not ideal I have no trouble stacking the deck. Like with Blizzard for instance, Mint was VERY focused on the idea of facing Blizzard alone and I had ultimately agreed with him that I would stand back if Blizzard opted for a one on one fight, but in the event that Mint looked to be losing at any point I likely would have engaged regardless of Mint’s wishes to ensure our victory.” Ise said with a shrug.
