Scoffing at the girl's reply, she could feel the tension mounting between them. It was enough to get her blood boiling. She was itching for a fight, and hoping a fellow saiyan like Pursla would understand and reciprocate. She wasn't backing down on her beliefs, at least Vennel could give her that. But did she have the strength to defend them when challenged? Vennel was hoping she would. The two may have had opposing world views, but their funamental ideals underneath weren't that different, even if neither of them knew it.
Vennel clenched her fists together, in an attempt to relieve some tension, as she was ready to leap into a fight at any moment. It even seemed as though Pursla felt it too. Her fists tightened and she seemed to consider it a moment before- FLASH! The girl put up her hand in what Vennel mistook for an attack, but she released a blinding light that robbed her of her sight for some time. She was even struggling to hear, so there must have been an auditory element as well. But her sense of smell, she still had that! But by the time she realized that, Pursla was already gaining ground. Vennel clumsily rose into the air to try and follow her scent alone, but it was little use- as she still crashed into trees and rocks as she tried to follow.
By the time her hearing and vision cleared, she had lost her quarry and was alone in the wilderness. "Blast!" She cursed to herself, before snorting with disappointment. "I'll find her again, eventually." Just then she grinned to herself as she realized something: "I guess this patrol wasn't such a waste of time after all. I think I found myself a new project." But before her day dreams of future time spent could become more than that, she had a job to complete- and that meant finishing her patrol. She could only hope the rest of it would be anywhere close to as interesting as this encounter was.
