"And I don't buy your insistence on innocence. Seems to be the main sticking point." What were the chances that a completely oblivious warrior, strong enough to contest even the mightiest of Earth's greatest, was selected by divine chance? That said warrior knew nothing about the legacy or the red-stained ledger of Kami? That they then spent time to meditate and learn and STILL found nothing? Abysmally low... but not impossible. The very, VERY slight chance that Jackie was truly and wholly innocent of Kami's crimes was enough to cause a small probe of hesitation, the Entity rumbling as it re-evaluated the situation. If there was one thing that it wholly conceded to the monk, it was the entire circumstances surrounding its current body.

"And I apologize for having to take her," It admittedly freely. "I'd be doing this myself... if I COULD. The coincidence that my target happened to also be my host's closest friend... it was horrible. I take no pleasure in this." Unfortunately, it seemed they were wholly against any sort of surrender or deal, meaning that more blood would be split. "Because mercy can only be offered from ahead. What point or logic is there in trying to strike a bargain from behind? It was BECAUSE I have the slightest sliver of doubt in my conviction that you are wholly guilty that an offer of peace was extended. As for Blizzard?" They'd turn to glance at the Arcosian briefly, still entangled with Terryn. "He's hamming it up quite a bit..." The cloak of corruption was offered as cover but to presume that Azuki had CONTROL over them was something else entirely.

"I would hardly call this situation a slight inconvenience. And you. Claiming to be a protector, but you'd rather dance and posture atop your supposed friend's fading corpse than accept a form of peace. 'Work for it?' Does the need to fulfill your own EGO supersede the lives of those around you that much?" It shifted, claws springing back to life in response to Jackie's gathering fire. "Do you even actually care? About them? About innocents at all? Or do you just... claim to care but give minimal effort?" It seemed that way. Stubborn defiance in the face of inevitable defeat... despite said defeat being solely the destruction of a magic bowl. Was THAT truly worth gambling the lives of everyone around her?

"You wish to know why I was initially locked away, yes? It was not by Earth's Kami but that adjacent tyrant, Namek's Guru. An entire culture and subset of Namekian, the Mazoku, were fighting for their right to LIVE. To prosper, to have water and grass. Instead, under strict guidance from GURU, the Dragon and Warrior Clans slaughtered them. No villages, no children were spared. The surviving Mazoku were forced to the Northern Scar, a bleak land of magma, stone, and hardly anything to sustain life. In desperation, they called upon me, and my kin from the realm beyond this one... and I fought for them. Fought for their freedom. And the punishment for daring to defy the righteous word of Guru? They LOCKED me in a RING. FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, I WAS AWAKE AND CONSCIOUS EVERY. LAST. ATTOSECOND. TORTURED BECAUSE OF THOSE DAMN GODS-!"

Stopping themselves short, The Entity growled: "What does it matter? You don't care. None of you people ever do. If horrid crimes had already been committed and you heroes weren't there to see it, it is the VICTIMS who are now in the wrong for trying to exact justice. Now that Saiyan's blood runs red and Terryn had deluded himself into a place beyond reason." No thanks to Blizzard for some brutally wounding the boy in the first place. Now they maybe DID some to be the generic half-baked evil Terryn was pegging them as. "I apologize for the brutality, the lies, and the destruction... but I cannot take chances. I cannot allow another zealot messiah to potentially exert control over a planet as the Guru has done before. You claim to be a guardian, and in the end, my goals are to guard every other living being against the crushing wave of zealotry. I will not, CAN NOT compromise this. So, Jackie, do YOUR best."

The black miasma faded from Azuki's body, though her power remained as strong as ever. Reddish-orange hair and piercing yellow eyes accompanied a grim expression as they stood, awaiting what would come next. "Because now, one of us must make way for the other... and I don't plan on it being me." The claws faded away once more as they adopted a fighting stance more reminiscent of Azuki's own, The Entity piggybacking on access to the girl's memories to pull such a move off. A small core of corruption lingered around her chest, black miasma snaking along the veins on her forearms like some sort of disease. Despite everything they've done so far, all of their assertions, and everything they planned to do, The Entity was confident. Confident that they, even if it hadn't been seen yet, were on the just side of this conflict. That taking any and all measures possible to ensure the power of Kami and their conspirators was stopped dead in its tracks.

After Russ, she felt she had to calm herself. To not break under the pressure and cave to her most undesirable traits. Terryn? Shook to his core by it. The flame from the other firebender's rage was felt from across the entirety of the lookout. It made her wince. It was all that bottled-up emotion she had to keep close to herself. To not hurt someone. Especially precarious given the possession her friend was under now. At least that condescension coming from the demon took her mind off the edge and vitriol.

The two had their own bit of a spat, talking past each other and posturing on top of either's goals. But the Ring eventually relented and told the kami to be what was actually up. What she wanted to know from the beginning because otherwise, this attack was nothing more than that of an assassin, or monster. Honestly, it still was.

Jackie tried her best to first rationalize what she heard as lies. A rationalization to tell poor doo gooders like her to confuse them to sound superior. Like many excuses, the tyrants of power pull out of their sleeves, like Blizzard. But the longer they expressed their pain, about an ages-old genocide and containment that left them staring at an eternity of silence, the less she was willing to just outright call the bluff. Her short spat on Namek pretty much confirmed what she said, at least where the Mazoku were currently, but anyone could just... CHECK. In fact, is that where she came from before she latched onto Azuki?

Jackie never should have dragged her along. The sun monk lowered her fists slowly. Her determined will to fight, shown by a squin in her eyes and general glare, finally gets drawn into a bit of apprehension. She had the privilege of being able to breathe and think about this. Unlike her friends, shredded and fighting for their lives at every second. For a moment, there was a clarity in the air she could pull from.

"What? That can't be true. Namek wouldn't..."
A clarity interrupted by the demon pulling back its obvious form and imitating Azuki. It snapped at her then, this fury that made her living flames jump and burn around her in the circling paths they took. For a moment, sparks seem to lift from her hair as certain anger and frustration were being let loose. It wasn't enough for anything though, and it'd remain that her flames burned bright and her eyes glowing with a raw intent.

"How DARE you... use her! I...!"
There was little she could feel like she could herself to do though. Terryn isn't going to last long with his own burning passion. She couldn't... hurt someone who looks exactly like Azuki right now. It was only a matter of time. All she could do is vent her complaints. See if anything would really stick on the demon if they were actually 'sorry' about anything in their quest to 'exact justice'.

"GRAH! This is all so... fucked up! Do you think... Do you think killing those people would make it up to the Mazoku!? This 'vengeance' of yours? How far do you go? How many systems do you uproot, how many victims do you make to get back at them!? Because I can guarantee you it isn't just some 'zealotry' that's a threat to them! The galaxy is full of crazed tyrants and insane systems of power that none of us have control over! Things we wished we could claw desperately towards but fall short! It's a whole string of bad people and systems you HAVE to fight against. Your 'zealotry' will be replaced with something else."
Fire flew from her right hand. Erratic. She was unable to control its conjuration nor its path outwards as it flew up into the air in an arc and splashed harmlessly on the lookout. The kami grit her teeth and winced. Clasping the offending wrist with her other to calm it from the sudden shaking it experienced.

"Gods know... I... I know how it feels to lose a culture, a family, a people to a force I can't comprehend. Can't combat, or even track down. My entire religion and village, burned by the day to an unknown force while I was a kid! And for the longest time, I wanted to hide. Hide and forget about it. And when maturity caught up with me I became more angry. My blood boiled! SOMEONE did this, SOMEONE was going to pay!"
This time, one of the two swirling infernos surrounding her suddenly whip out at the ground. Creating a small wave of sparks that dissipate within feet. This half of her remains unstable, making a few tinier waves throughout as she takes deep breaths.

"How many people do I threaten, hurt, main, kill, to right that wrong? Are their lives equivalent, one to one? Does that even matter!? You can't bring them back. They were lives, taken before their time. Families, friends. But... the systems that be are cruel, and execution is only a petty catharsis for the living in the memory of. All of this, all it does is create more struggles. More loose ends, more victims to start the cycle anew, more HATE."
And with it, the second ring of the sparking heat starts wildly splattering periodically against the broken-up lookout tiling. Her voice rising higher as she tried hard not to cry, and hope something changed about this.

"Look, I'm sorry for what happened to you and the people who counted on you... But it doesn't justify going out of your way to hurt others on that path. The Namek I know is relatively friendly, understanding. Now that I've been made aware of the Mazoku's ACTUAL situation I'll make sure to help them. All of them. Reach a hand out and do it the RIGHT way. Spilling blood for the deaths thousands of years gone by WILL NOT be justice. You make room for another terror, tyrant, or ghoul. Or, more likely, raging civil war on a planet. Then the hate starts again."
It was never her intention to ever reach the scope of her idealism further than her home. But clearly, all of the guardians and good people of the galaxy NEEDED work. NEEDED help. Those crimson eyes wince as their glow intensifies and fades in a pulsing, erratic pattern. Getting something akin to a headache. She'd shake it off long enough to get a look at her fallen comrade again. Russ, laying there with much more dangerous burns lacerating his body.

"If you're going to continue trying to put me down, at least let these two go. They have nothing to do with this. Your 'help', the actual problem wrong with the galaxy, has made their strength clear. Only I can hope to deal with them at our current strength."
She was sure Terryn probably didn't like hearing her try sounding so calm and resolute during all of this. Hell, he was exuding that sort of 'kill them' energy she talked about and tried containing. She didn't make any immediate moves to go at either of them for the most part here, but once she realized Blizzard was getting lethal again with those swords of his the erratically powered up Jackie would blink in a flash of light and interpose herself between the two. Taking the large knee thrown out by the Arcosian but throwing up empowered arms. Hard enough to catch the normal blade swing, if just barely. Her anger was blind, but this wasn't done to start getting into the fight with Blizzard. She was protecting Terryn again.

"You! Shut the hell up! Just do your thing and attack me, shut up! No one buys your pathetic excuses to hurt people."
From everything she's heard them say, they basically simplified a parroted version of what the Entity said. With... much less tact, and interspersing it with his own brand of asinine power-tripping she was used to fighting against. It was grating, coming from him of all people.

"CAN'T BE? Why not? Because it's such a nice little peaceful land of farmers and devotees? That whole planet is an autocratic theocracy headed by that GURU, where everyone follows HIS religion and rules or protects the control of his reign. Don't like the underdeveloped nature of the planet fool you; they can very well still commit atrocities." Jackie seemed to spring a random comment. Well, not entirely unexpected, but they thought they'd already gone over the whole possession thing. "The Hell are you-" Looking down, The Entity was shocked to see the regular skin tone of their host instead of the encompassing black miasma that had engulfed it before. "GAH!?" They seemed entirely taken aback by the development, despite still being in complete control of the body at large. "I don't-" Understand. Bare fingers clawed at the black veins still sprouting from Azuki's chest, trying in vain to cover her once more.

And then Jackie went off on her own tangent, Azuki's face tearing itself into a pained scowl as she went on and on. "SO WHAT!? AM I SUPPOSED TO JUST GIVE UP!? How simple it is. Everything is in the past; all the suffering doesn't matter anymore. Lay down like a good submissive bastard and let those that wronged you walk away scot-free because it's the 'right' thing to do." A toxic bitterness laced their voice as they spoke. One that already KNEW Jackie had a strong point, but one that was resolute. "I've come too far to stop now. Turning my back on this, letting those vile systems remain? Are we to do NOTHING about it simply because you claim more evil will fill the void left? Namek has had hundreds of years to change their ways and pursue true peace, but they haven't. You think you can uproot ingrained vileness on such a large scale, Kami?"

They were hurt too. Jackie was wronged. "There weren't be anything left to hate when I'm done. Do the bastards want a target? Let it be me. The horrible evil Demon, coated in black, spouting foul words. They were the one to do such awful things. And then when I finally FUCKING die... it can dissipate with me." They sounded drained now, lacking any of the previous hatred or zeal in favor of a more depressed tone. "It hurts. It hurts to live. To feel the agony of my confinement, to harm so many in my quest for justice. After the first few decades, I only wanted to end it all... but I couldn't. The only thing left was to grow bitter. Hateful. And I did. I don't even REMEMBER MY OWN NAME FOR KAIS' SAKE! Did I have a family!? Friends?! Was there even a LIFE before the war... who knows? And who cares. All I am is just another bad guy to kill. Isn't that right?"

The monk requested that their allies be spared. "...Fine. I-" It was now they noticed Blizzard's overzealous attempts to grievously injure Terryn as much as he had done to Russ already. Blizzard's braggart behavior had started to seriously grate on The Entity's patience, but there wasn't much to do besides silently bear it. His power was still needed to accomplish their goals, even if it made them look far worse by proxy. "NON-LETHAL!" She snapped at him mid assault on Terryn. "What did I just SAY?" Even before Jackie's entire counter-speech, the orders were explicit. STALL him, not murder him. "The boy reminds me of myself in a way. His rage, passion, and drive to kill for it... yes. I doubt he'll accept any offers of mercy. Blizzard! Knock him out with me. NO swords." Yet that didn't appear to be necessary.

Whether Terryn came to his senses or Jackie's plea for them to go free caused it, the boy had backed down. She could've easily cut him down mid mad dash, but she didn't. "Your allies will be spared," Azuki said tiredly, giving a stern look to Blizzard. "As for you..." Their face tightened into a mixture of pity and anger as if unsure what to do. "I will not kill you either. This Lookout, though... is unnecessary and a vain symbol of power. It shall be destroyed; find a new base if you wish. Kami... I should do everything in my power to see you bleed out before my eyes." Their claws returned, though The Entity couldn't quite muster the malice to immediately attack. "Grah. I'll give you the fight you crave so much. And in the end, upon victory, I will take something from you. Not your life... but a permanent reminder and a warning. Stay out of my way. Once my ultimate goals are realized, Azuki will be released, and you can continue your faux courtship."

Thank... goodness Terryn decided against continuing his front. Only offering mild curses when he realizes what she plans on doing. She can only offer sad smiles as he takes Russ and makes it off the tower. Away from this mess, she's gotten herself into. She can only hope for some forgiveness later for putting them at risk in the first place. When the earthling finally took to the side of the bowl he'd get a last parting message in his head. Directed at him as Jackie herself stared down this arcosian.

'Get him help, and keep each other safe. Thank you... I'm sorry.'
Coming to grips with the fact she was up here alone again with these two weighed on her. Despite it all, the Arcosian kept begging to differ from the sun monk's views of the world. Ranting at the Entity was one thing, but this oaf literally had zero right coming at her with more sins of past people. Not when he was willing to attack people cause god knows how much trouble elsewhere Jackie wasn't aware of. Jackie only barely managed to slip away from the sword after taking yet another knee from the guy, leaping back away again and gripping her stomach with a wince.

"Rich, coming from you. Didn't you serve a colonizing empire? And their name is Terryn. They left on my recommendations. This is now my sole problem to deal with."
It was so strange to her that the Entity, through its now questioned and doubted methods, would recruit this guy for anything other than his sheer strength, and what was he was getting out of it? Anything more than just toppling anyone that could pose a threat to his strength? At least Jackie's words were being reasoned and tackled by the Entity, who seemed to struggle more and more to give an answer that wasn't just simple-minded vengeance. Misconstruing her own peace to try and make it out like Jackie would do nothing in this situation.

"I never said it didn't matter... I never said give up. Gods, no, If I gave up I wouldn't be here as strong as I am trying to build a better future for Earth. Violence and Vengeance just aren't the way to solve this! Think, this will have repercussions far beyond you becoming the sole martyr of hatred! We must be better than that, try something different!"
She had only heard the tales of Phakk on Namek. Another erroneous attempt to try and corral the Mazoku under someone to 'aid' them in a time of need. One initiated with force, and one was supplanted by other forces. Because, newsflash, people don't like authoritative entities. The Entity's wild assassinations would be met with a gross backlash.

"Others in our lifetime have tried something like this. To take control of big problems like the Mazoku's situation on Namek all on their own. All heavy-handed martyrs that think they can force the problem away with power alone. It's only resulted in more violence and death. There HAS to be another way. It doesn't HAVE to result in your death either!"
With a burning passion, the erratic flames around her started rising into walls. Nearly obscuring her form for a moment as her arms are outstretched to her side. Properly T=Posing on them both, the empowered Jackie will force all of her strength into a great barrier. A shining bubble of light and flame that swirled its energy around her. It's semi-translucent qualities didn't interfere with their conversation.

"The only way to forcibly uproot that 'ingrained violence' doing it your way would be to kill them off. All of them. Genocide. It wouldn't be enough to kill their spiritual leader, you'd have to oppress them. Is that what you want? Or do you want to stand here and listen to me when I say we can fix this by talking it through. I know of many people on Namek from my short time visiting who'd want to help with this. I just know it."
Ollo came to mind rather vividly, the young faux-namekian had an appreciation for all of his namekian brothers it seemed. One would hope people like him could rise to change their culture and help people like that. Ones with enough dedication, Like Jackie, Who now will make it THE point of attack going forwards. She can't imagine a peaceful world if she doesn't help galactic neighbors by some extent.

"This place... It's not some symbol of power. Do you see what state it is in already? Something long ago messed it up I guess. What's more valuable is the possible knowledge to be had within. Not all of it was like that book you so despised! So I'm going to have to stand here and say no. Destroying it will do nothing for you other than satisfy that itch of yours. I WILL make sure to guard it while I can move. Some stuff in there can prove useful. Hell, it might be worth something to the Mazoku situation too. Who knows, I haven't gotten to check!"
Jackie just hoped they'd listen first and foremost. She damn well knew this barrier wouldn't hold up to scrutiny. Drained with only a senzu bean to her name, she had to think where to go from here next. How long would they take breaking her down?

Blizzard would sheath his swords and deactivate the beams on the swords. He would watch as Azuki would be the first to enter the battle, breaking down on the barrier that Jackie had placed, giving him enough space to enter and eliminate her. She wanted non lethal results and that's what she was going to get. Blizzard's feet began to stomp on the grounds of the lookout tower, sounding like an elephant running in a stampede. The ground began to shake and finally when he got within arm reach, he would throw his fist straight at her back. BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOM BOOM!

Her back, her shoulders, her arms! ALL OF IT WAS A TARGET!


"Perhaps after this battle! You will have plenty of time to think about their people! As for now, you will go night night!"

Hopefully this would be enough to knock her out of the ground and if she were to be knocked out from all of this, Blizzard would casually walk over to the building of the Lookout tower and just admire it for a second.

"I still can't believe we let that boy go. He could get reinforcements and they would come here to fight us."

Jackie's final plea for peace fell on deaf ears. Azuki's blast had done little to God herself, shattering the barrier of flame that had kept her protected until now. Without further words from The Entity, Blizzard stepped in. Swords sheathed the Arcosian still proved to be a deadly warrior, a barrage of terrible punches landing home and sending Jackie crashing into the tile close to Azuki's feet. The hybrid's expression was unreadable as they knelt down to the now bloodied and battered monk, eyes locking with hers. "Rest now; you'll not be saving anyone in the state you're in." Azuki's hand rested against the woman's throat, a moment passing as they rumbled something indecipherable. "Let me show you just how useless words actually are."

The miasma crept up Azuki's arm, engulfing her hand as she positioned her fingers very carefully against the downed monk's body. With a tiny flicker of power, her Ki blades would make deft incisions on the surface of Jackie's skin, piercing through. "Don't try and come back." A slight slash was all it took. If unimpeded, the vocal cords within Jackie's body would be severed and coated in tiny residue, eating away at the interior flesh without the intent to truly kill her. She would survive... but Jackie would most likely never speak again. "That's enough. Blizzard!" Azuki stood, claws retracting as small spurts of blood pooled around Jackie's fresh wounds. "We're done here. You truly are one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy, and I couldn't have done it without your help. It's time to finally destroy this place."

The Entity would attempt to sling Jackie over their back, held in place by a single arm as they floated off the surface. Palm outstretched, a bright shimmering ball of green Ki was formed... and quickly grew in size, threatening to encompass the entire bowl. "Crumble to ash." Lacking much of the vigorous vitriol they had started the battle with, The Entity unleashed their second orb upon the ancient structure. With nobody left to protect it, the Lookout began to crumble as the massive orb forcibly dragged it from the heavens. Whatever magic had been keeping it afloat began to fail, chunks and pieces from the outer rim escaping orbit and plummeting to the Earth below. Most of it was vaporized in the ensuing attack; Azuki was satisfied enough with her handiwork that the rubble wouldn't require further attention. Silently they'd turn, facing the nearest city, and fly away, intent on taking Jackie to a hospital. She'd be stabilized there, but no human surgeon alive could ever hope to repair the loss of voice she'd endure.
