No longer being in seclusion had seen Zuqetta set upon by situation after situation; showing just how chaotic things STILL were after all this time. She hardly allowed the encounters to bother her however, she was tired and wanted more than to take a break after all the excitement. As such, upon procuring a rental pod, Zuqetta was quick to make her way back to Azoth and the Galactic Frontiers ship, the Freezing Horizon; which still orbited Plant. As usual, security was rather lax; a testament to just how comfortable everyone felt with Azoth around. As well, with the Mini Paladion's being the ones to greet Zuqetta on the open channel, being accepted onboard was as easy as could be.
Once on the ship, there were no strange looks or uncomfortable remarks to be had. Just as with Azoth, all those she passed by simply greeted her happily; it was almost as though she had never left. The situation was a bit uncomfortable in its own way, but not in the bad way she had expected it to be. Unlike when she was alone with Azoth however, she did well to hold back her tears and stay strong.
It didn't take too long to reach her room, and though she'd lost her access card, MP was there without hesitation to help Zuqetta out!
"WELL HOWDY THAR! Zuqetta." MP greeted, "BEEN QUITE THE w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w--" As she spoke, MP's head would begin twitching with sparks shooting out for a few moments before suddenly spinning around rapidly and resetting itself, "LONG TIME NO SEE! LET ME GET THAT THAR DOOR FOR YA!!"
With that, MP would rush off into a small hole in the wall; a revealed panel specifically designed for the Mini Paladion's. A few moments after, the door to Zuqetta's room would gently zip open and the room within would immediately become illuminated by the automated light. Upon entering, Zuqetta would take notice of MP as she seemed to continuously run into the wall directly beside the open panel in the room. By her speech and actions, it was clear that MP was well overdue for some maintenance.
"Heh, thanks MP." Zuqetta would say as she walked over and lifted the little bot into her arms, "That's uh... a pretty interesting accent you've got, huh?" Zuqetta inquired casually as she carried MP over to her work bench, "Have ya missed a few trips to the maintenance room downstairs?" She would ask as she placed MP down upon the work bench before walking over to a cabinet to grab her tools.
As Zuqetta went about in search of her tools, a pleasant feeling of nostalgia would wash over her. She'd been trying to suppress the feeling for quite awhile, but it had only served to compile more and more as she moved about. From the sights of the ship and her room, to the sounds of the many machinations the Freezing Horizon had to offer. Without warning, tears had begun to flow down her face once more; her emotions were complication, and the display on her face even more so. All she knew however, was that she was happy. If possible, she'd never leave this ship or this environment again, but to resign herself to such ha state would be to bring shame upon Azoth's efforts to aid and motivate her. She remembered what he said, that the goals before her were NOT obligations; however, that didn't mean she would simply cast them aside in the face of adversity. If Azoth would continue to fight, then so would she...
"HEAVENS TA BETSY! Zuqetta." MP would suddenly chime, "I'D NEVER LET NO ONE NO HOW HAVE A GANDER AT ALL MY BITS AND PIECES! NOT AFTER YOU DONE GONE AND MADE ME ALL SPECIAL AND DOLLED upupupupupupupupupupupupupupupupup--" MP explained, before once more immediately beginning to glitch out.
"Hehe, okay, okay! Take it easy MP, and let's do somethin' about that volume." Zuqetta would laugh as she made her way back over to MP; taking an acquired tool and using it to open a panel on the back of MP's head, "Nighty night, heh, I'll have ya up and runnin' before ya know it!" Zuqetta would say before removing a chip in the back of MP's head.
Before the little robot could even make another comment; with the removal of the chip, MP was immediately deactivated. Zuqetta would give a relived sigh; MP's new strange personality being a bit more than she could handle at the moment. Before she would begin repairs however, Zuqetta would take to becoming reacquainted with her environment.
She would take to cleaning, a stress relief habit she'd picked up back when she lived with Vennel; taking inventory and reorganizing her belongings. She was happy to have her capsules restocked and inventories returned; though as she looked at all of her clothes from Earth, she felt a little sad as she remembered her abandoned armor. She would push past the feeling however and continue her cleaning; before eventually stumbling upon a relic from the past, an interesting little coin.
"Oh... is this?" It was familiar, and quickly reminded her of her time with Zriracha; but more importantly, reminded her of... "Zerori...?" She would speak, holding tightly to the coin with a hope and desire to see her close friend again, "I... I wish I could see you again..." Zuqetta would say, holding the coin tightly to her chest before giving a quick shake of her head and placing the coin down upon the work bench next to MP, "... but not yet." She would continue firmly, turning about to her closet to grab a change of cloths, "Heh, no, I'm not in a state that I wanna show off to her... not yet..."
With that, Zuqetta would grab and towel and make her way through the door in her room that led to her personal bath. She knew she wasn't in the right state of mind to see Zerori again, and wasn't sure when she would be. She still had trouble holding a smile as she used to, and constantly spoke with a defeated tone. Rather that go out to meet with ANYONE just yet, she would instead take some personal time to herself; this time however, much less secluded. With that, she would remove her sweater and gently place it in a hamper near the bath before tossing off the rest of the garments she wore. It was time to relax, and glitches or no, MP still seemed to function with efficiency, as the hot bath had already been drawn. Zuqetta would dip her tail in first, testing the wonderful temperature of the water before hopping in without hesitation.
"Ahhhhh~ A real bath... No more lakes and waterfalls for me! Ohhhhh, how I've missed this~!"
It was time to relax, and within the peaceful confines of the Frozen Horizon, there wasn't anything that could possibly do away with this peace; not even the constant, quiet beeping of her scouter back in her room...
