Zerori's Thread PL: 36,000
After returning home (Home being the cave that her Mother had found months ago and decked out to live comfortably in) Zerori had needed some time to finally digest everything that had happened recently. Her mother was busy with some spellcasting that Zerori didn’t really have any interest in and so she’d taken her headphones from off her bed and walked back outside to find a quiet place to relax and think. After her experience back in Other World, Zerori was… exhausted.
Taking one last look back at her temporary home, Zerori took off into the air and flew around until she found what looked to be a ruined city. She smirked, floating down toward one of the highest and most stable building’s rooftops before taking a good look around at the city-scape before her. The sun had just risen, giving the destroyed metropolis a bright orange hue as morning began to creep over the horizon. Honestly, she really should have gotten some sleep before leaving, but… there was just too much on her mind.
Amara’s death, meeting Erebos in Hell, visiting Amara in Heaven, seeing Azoth again after so long… it just hammered home just how much time Zerori had been here and still-
Still, she missed one person the most out of them all.
Sitting down on the ground, Zerori leaned against the ledge and put her headphones on, tuning it to a calming song she’d often listen to when it was time to focus on her own spell work. Only this time, she closed her eyes and imagined eating cake that actually tastes good with Ise back at the Saiyan Capitol in the park. She imagined Ise complimenting the cake before she admitted that her mother actually made it and them laughing together - a smile pulling on her lips as she crossed her arms and relaxed quietly.
Dead to the world around her and in her own little fantasy, Zerori was unprepared for the prowling Saiba-wolf that had made it's way up to the dilapidated roof and was quietly stalking the hybrid. Taking a few quiet strides forward, the multi-patterned beast would sudden charge just as quietly - aiming it's gnarled teeth at unmoving and unknown Zerori's throat.
