Vulcan (Ollo/INV)

Really!? A look of shock came across Ollo's face. Aside from the few villages he came across, he had never encountered anyone as so bold to attack him for his belongings. What a stupid reason to try and hurt someone! "Why would someone do something like that? I never met anyone like that and if I do, I'll make sure they don't do that again." Adopting a stern look on his face, he would point at Jackie with one finger, leading the rest of his hands crossed upon his chest. His expression soon relaxed, bringing up the hand that he pointed to his head. "Most namekians don't steal. We share since we're all the same under Porunga." At least that was what he witnessed so far. He hadn't really visited many mazoku villages aside from the same few he visited and all of them really mostly just kept to themselves. Well, he now knew that every clan had their bad apples.

From what Jackie said it seemed like Earth really was large and far beyond his understanding. If these "bandits" people were common upon Earth, he couldn't even begin to imagine what they had over there. While he could at least imagine the fields, hills and forests the large cities were something that escaped his mind. The only "city" he knew of was Dend Capitol, and to have more of these capitols was something he couldn't even dream of. What other terrain did the planet have that he was unaware of? "Wow. How big is Earth? Is it bigger than Namek? What is there to do there? Are there clans back on Earth like there is on Namek too?" There were so many questions that he wanted to ask her, yet he was already firing them out one in front of the other. It had even gotten to the point where he was practically tripping over his own thoughts. For now, he would take this moment to regain his train of thoughts, giving the human the chance to respond to all his questions.

It did at least make him feel a bit better hearing that Jackie's experiences have been mostly positive. Although he loved Namek with his entire heart, there was another part that bothered him hearing that there were many namekians acting like that. While it was good to hear it wasn't the majority still, there was still a bit of a thorn learning that there were people that would attack others for their belongings. How materialistic. Ollo nodded along to her statement though. Considering his encounter with that namekian and the two shinjin which had brought danger to the Scar, he hadn't experienced much danger except in the case of Shakuhachi and even then he was a black sheep of the all of the clans. He doubt that any of his fellow dragons would ever condone anything like that, regardless of how much they disliked the mazoku.

From what she explained though, Earth was a vastly different planet. Although probably not as large as Namek was in size, the experiences, the landscape and pretty much everything else was different from the backwater planet that was Namek. Honestly, Ollo envied them slightly seeing as there appeared to be more adventure to have over there. However, if there were people like bandits far more common there, maybe he would prefer the comforts of his home. "No worries, it's all just different, that's all!" He said in response to her apology. It was interesting to learn about these new planets after all anyways. Maybe one day he could go down there and visit to learn more about this human heritage of his that so many said he had.

It didn't seem like Earthlings had any clans, which was a strange concept although he kind of understood it. It seemed more of a cultural melting pot from the way she described it sort of like Dend Capitol, although to not be grouped with like-minded individuals was an interesting concept to be honest and in a way he actually liked it. "So everyone lives together happily even though they don't think, study or even look kinda the same?" He questioned, trying to learn more about this culture. He wanted to figure the true extent of it, and perhaps see if there were ideas that could potentially even benefit them. Then, Ollo was asked a question he didn't even expect. Flexing all of his arms, he gave a smirk before replying with, "I'm a warrior in spirit. Even though I wasn't born in the village they said that I'm a warrior just like them."

Honestly it seemed as if Namek had a lot of learn in comparison to the amazing place that was Earth. Maybe when all the clans could at least reach a short peace he could go travel down there and learn more of their culture. Although he loved Namek with all his heart, Ollo knew that there had to be change if they ever could achieve peace. Now that he had a direct contact to someone from there, a human to boot, his dream of uniting the planet together was coming closer and closer. 

The more Jackie spoke, the more similarities Ollo could spot between the two cultures. While all warriors were at the very least raised to fight, many of them still took mundane roles like his father had. Those that wanted to continue down this path, like him, were the guardians of Namek. While it was a bit strange that earthlings did not have clans that delegated these roles to each other, maybe that was what made them unique. After all, without being trained in a singular path for a majority of their life, they could discover what they wanted to be. If he was born on Earth, would that have been the case for him?

Speculation was fun, but he wanted to continue on with the conversation. To his disappointment though, Jackie seemed to want to try something different, a little bit of training. Admittedly he was now a bit curious to see what Earth fighting was like. Besides, he wanted to learn more how to utilize his fire, especially when it came to a fellow fire user like Jackie. Well, talking could definitely wait. It was not everyday he got to meet a strong fighter from Earth. Bonus points for being so friendly as well! Nodding eagerly he began to take a more defensive position. "What do you want me to do Jackie?" Ollo asked, waiting for her response. 

Jackie seemed rather interested in the source of his magic, something that Ollo was admittedly not the most knowledgeable about. There was one thing he could say though, once she had brought it up. "I don't have ki," he said with a solemn smile. By now he was coming to terms with it, especially seeing now that he had a replacement ability. "I tried using it a lot, but I can never do the cool ki stuff. I tried super duper hard. I dunno where my magic comes from, but it's just a lot easier to use than if I tried to use ki." Spreading out his human hands to the side, he would attempt to summon a ki orb on one hand and a fire ball on the other one. The pink flames almost instantaneously formed, as if it flowed smoothly from his core into his hand. The other hand, remained unlit, no matter how hard he tried to summon whatever ki it was.

After watching Jackie summon her flames though, Ollo couldn't help but marvel at her technique. It covered her entire body rather than just a limb or two, a level of skill that even he had yet to reach. He clapped using his lower two pair of arms, clearly enamored by the sight happening in front of him. Maybe one day he could do something like this without being afraid of burning himself alive. Giving up on his ki studies, he would instead light his other empty hand up and allow the flame to trail down his arms, trying to at least mimic what she was doing. It was a bit scary, especially seeing as he never had allowed it to pass his wrists before. It consumed his arms a lot quicker than he anticipated, until it reached his elbows.

It was then when he felt the pain, yelping as one of the pink flames brushed across his skin. Immediately he extinguished the flames, hands flying to check the burn. Fortunately, it wasn't very big and he could already see the angry red fading as his body's healing factor acted up, which was a relief. "I dunno how you can do that without burning yourself." He commented, wincing as he poked at the burned area. "I'm ok though, don't worry. My body gets better very fast." Although there were times Ollo wasn't the happy with the body he had, it was nice to be able to recover from wounds quickly at the very least.

Well, that was something that he had heard before. From the more spiritual elders within his village, they had reassured him that he did in fact possess life energy, regardless of whether he could wield it or not. Just because they couldn't feel it and he could not summon it didn't mean he fundamentally lacked such energy. But then another theory came within his mind. "One of the great elders from my village said that my ki might be different. It's not like yours, but I don't even know what I really am so it's really hard to tell." Ollo didn't expect to get an answer, although admittedly it was still a bit disheartening to know nothing about who he was sometimes. Still, after spending quite a bit wrestling with these thoughts, he had made a temporary truce with it, instead embracing what he did know.

As glad as he felt for her concern, he nodded as she asked him once more whether he was alright. Ollo shoved his arm towards her direction, showing how the angry red blisters were already beginning to fade away, making way for new baby pink skin. "I heal really really fast, although I don't think I want to do that again. It kinda hurt." Making a face, he would instead just ignite one of his hands again, playing around with the flame moving it back and forth. "This is a lot easier than burning myself just to hurt someone more." For now though, he would pay attention to the lessons that she was trying to impart upon her. Maybe it was the fact that he had only recently been aware of this ability which explained his lack of control or something else. It was really difficult to tell. 

"I can do something like that," Ollo commented after watching Jackie's flamethrower technique. Taking a deep breath, he would allow the heat to build up in his chest before ultimately letting out a stream of pink flames right in front of him. "I can do this well and also have my hands also be on fire without burning myself. That's really it so far though." As simple as these techniques were, it was progress. He still had to work on stuff like enchantment and conjuring, but hey, there was a time and place to learn everything. He still had his natural strength and can learn it all through baby steps.

There was a fuzzy feeling budding inside Ollo at the way that she was looking at him. In all honestly, he was shocked by such sensation, with the only people capable of replicating such a sensation being the people from his village. What was it? It bothered him that he couldn't name it off the top of his head, but he pushed it aside. It wasn't a bad feeling, but in fact the opposite, eliciting a blush from him as he moved his burnt arm from sight so that he could finish healing up without distressing Jackie any more than he actually had. "I'll go master it even sooner!" He proudly proclaimed, putting two of his arms on his hips. "I just gotta practice it some more and then I'll be good."

Right, practice made perfect after all. It would only be a matter of time till he was strong enough to save the people that he wanted and maybe even have his voice be heard as well... The latter was more of a failsafe than anything, especially when Ollo preferred his words being heard over his strength. 

As she predicted, Ollo would attempt to try and replicate the ball. It seemed a bit too fine for his current handiwork, causing a stream of flames to sprout from his palm instead. A flaming geyser surprised him, although fortunately the pink embers slowly floating down upon the ground were harmless and quickly fizzled out, creating no wildfires here. Well, progress was progress. He was sure that it was only a matter of time before he finally got it down. As he was ready to try again, Jackie asked him a rather strange question. "I asked them before I left, before my dad got taken away." Yeah, that... Ollo visibly got a bit more somber, ears drooping and tail less swishy than normal. Boy, he wished his dad was here to watch him now.
