Maxis felt no need to hold back on his brutality against a proper Arcosian. They were an extremely durable race and could handle any sort of punishment short of killing blows without suffering too much from it. Still, the feeling of driving Frozen's armored head into the rocky ground with a single powerful strike was INVIGORATING to an intense degree. Maybe this would teach the lizard to not think so lowly of him. The Terran hopped off, allowing his foe some breathing room. "You are no slouch either, Duke. Had it been a normal Earthling facing you I can say with certainty that even in your current form they would hardly stand a chance. But you are not dealing with any normal 'Earthling'."

Ah, another transformation. At least Frozen was taking this seriously now. In fact, the Arcosian's power had even eclipsed his own by a fair margin now, though Maxis would give him some time to play around with the upper hand provided Frozen didn't try anything TOO risque. "Your third but not your last. Let's see if you need to call upon the latter, shall we?" With an intense burst of speed Frozen vanished, leaving Maxis to turn around a split second too late. The prehensile limb wrapped around his neck and squeezed with enough force to elicit a small grunt, the Terran bracing himself as he was FLUNG across the ground.

"Enough!" His body would burst alight with a vivid green outline as Frozen swung around with another beam attack. This time there was no miss or deflect, simply a failure to mark home as the technique scored a hit but did little than scorch the boy's leg. Maxis would turn in place to deliver a spinning roundhouse kick all the way up at the Arcosian's head, aiming to drive him straight into the ground AGAIN with the sheer force of his attack!

Blume had only arrived on earth a few moments ago before suddenly feeling the power of an only ally and rival. Of all people, that bastard Maxis was on Earth. Funny enough, the man wasn't alone, but doing battle against another lifeform. It was a power unlike anything she had felt before, but was thankfully below her own. Maybe this would be a good time for her to step in and show off what strength she had gained... Then again, she was being hunted by the galactic patrol, and increasing her power now might be a bad idea. Regardless, she needed to get a good look at the fight.

Stepping away from her attack pod, the woman would fly into the air, blasting towards the direction of the fight. Just as she arrived, a death beam would find it's target, impacting Maxis with some force. The being who launched said attack was an arcosian, a rare sight to be sure. If her old friend wanted to make it out alive, he would have to time his attack carefully. With a smirk, she would address the pair "Well... I hadn't expected to come across you here Maxis. You're not really struggling against this guy are you?"

The woman would simply cross her arms, knowing the man was still holding back. The two of them had far more eventful battles in the past. Maybe if she stepped in, the woman could finally get the better of her rival. "Should I step in? I"ve gotten much stronger."

"Clearly, you are not 'average' in any respect, my friend." Frozen praised with a polite smile in his eyes. "Indeed, your power, even now, is considerable. I would be a fool to holdback even the most minute scrap of power in this form if I wish to make up for lost time." Maxis would then comment that he recognized this third form of his was not his last and that he wished to bring it out of him if possible. Frozen sighed heavily at this and shook his long head, not at all pleased by the target of Maxis' enthusiasm! "I do not wish to use that form if I can help it, Maxis. I have very little control of it yet and, were I to use it, the collateral would be considerable. Unless you too are hiding a vast wealth of power within you still, I am afraid I will not reveal it to you."

Well, this didn't seem to go over too well with the young man as, when Frozen grabbed him by the neck and THREW him around, he was more IRRATE than invigored by the power at Frozen's command! Perhaps he was not expecting THIS MUCH to be under his control... Perhaps he believed that, even still, this would be a walk-in-the-park for him. Perhaps, even, he believed he would manage that roundhouse kick he had been preparing and that Frozen had been keeping his eye on. Whatever he was thinking, though, he was WRONG. Dead-wrong.

Frozen's death-beam would drill somewhat deeply into the man's leg but that would hardly stop his momentum as he whirled around. Frozen's other hand was already cupping a ball of energy between its fingers, WHIPPING it up as Maxis WHIRLED his energy-charged leg about! A WAVE of power would CRASH into Maxis' roundhouse kick, the BURST of both attacks connecting and negating one another sending Frozen back a good few steps, the Duke cocking his head in annoyance. Even now this boy was managing to keep pace.... Was there no end to his power...? Despite what Frozen had claimed, he might actually HAVE to kick it up to his final form if he was to gain a significant scrap of control over Maxis...

"Truly impressive, my friend!" Frozen exclaimed, slow-clapping in a sign of respect before the earthling! "You are a true warrior, someone I could learn quite a bit from. Say... Might you be interested in-"

Suddenly, a woman appeared on the scene, appearing EVEN YOUNGER than Maxis! She had a snarky edge to her though, looking upon the Duke with disdain as she asked if Maxis was even really struggling with him! Frozen blinked, staring at the stranger in SURPRISE at her arrogance, the royal Arcosian giving her a disdainful glare as she offered to defeat Frozen for Maxis!

"I beg your pardon?" Frozen exclaimed, offense tinging the end of his words! "Who might you be, so self-assured and rude as to threaten me as I battle someone else?"

Their attacks had met in a brilliant clash, Frozen putting in a great deal of effort and only barely staving Maxis off at all. The Terran would curtly nod at the display of power, gaining some distance with a short back hop. It was clear the both of them needed a short breather to gain back energy once again, and he had no problem with waiting. The Arcosian's initial refusal to use his strongest form caused the smallest twitch to the Terran's smile. Even now it seemed that Frozen was still undervaluing his strength! "A vast wealth? You could say that." At the least his opponent would finally acknowledge the strength shown so far with a small clap.

"Allow me to show you the full extent of my power!" He'd spread his arms wide, an EXPLOSION of lime green Ki radiating from the boy's body. It settled into a fire-like aura surrounding his body, crackling with energy. Small pieces of the wild Ki broke apart and drifted off like embers from a roaring flame. The sheer force of transforming alone was enough to cause a small shockwave directly around his own body. "I wished to not immediately resort to it, for you see I've no way to control the sheer energy this state grants me."

And just as Frozen was about to make an offer... "Blume. You always had a knack for interrupting me." He'd turn to face his surrogate sister of sorts, arms crossed over his chest. "Gefhar heard of your most recent exploit. A commendable job if it wasn't for the paper trail left behind that you're still running from... but that is why I'm here." Maxis would pivot back to Frozen with a concentrated gaze: "I was just sparring with Duke Frozen here. I can tell by your battle power that you've grown but I ask you to leave the rest of this battle to me. If you wish to spar with me afterward I will take up that offer."

Her old friend's power would erupt into am impressive display of green ki, a form she had learned to dread over time. Judging by the two fighters now, the arcosian was far outclassed. She would simply smirk as the alien would address her, and explain who exactly she was "Let's just say, I'm an old friend of your opponent there... As I mentioned, this is a losing battle." Despite her old rival's attempts to shoo her away, and request for her to stay out of their bout, the hybrid couldn't help but offer aid.

She would first respond to Maxis bluntly "I think it's up to him whether or not I get involved Maxis. You'll easily beat him in that form. but I could even the odds." Blume would then fly to the side of Frozen, and light up her violet aura. Taking on her 'brother' was a common occurrence, though it never once ended in her victory. Perhaps with the assistance of another however, that could change, despite their large gap in strength. "Sadly yes, the galactic patrol are on my tail... Regardless, this little spar would be much more fair if it was two on one. Not that I care for fairness, but it would be a much greater challenge."

With that, the woman would raise her own power significantly, having a violet aura explode with power around her. This was her full strength, approaching Maxis, but not quite enough to top him. If they did fight, their battle would be a close one, something any proud warrior would enjoy.

Frozen's brow furrowed as the boy's reaction was to power up even FURTHER, nearly knocking Frozen off his feet from the sheer shockwave of the release! Energy surged wildly around the boy's form like a fountain of raw power, the Arcosian, even WITHOUT a scouter, could recognize his position in all this! What was worse is that this boy's friend, so confident in her own power, would step up beside him and power up herself, this time nearly sending the Arcosian packing to the SIDE instead of straight back! What was UP with these Earthlings...? Where did they find such POWER!? It felt as if Frozen was becoming a third wheel in his own episode, where two hugely powerful entities with a history came a hijacked it for their own purposes!

"I'm sorry, did you say the 'Galactic Patrol??'" Frozen exclaimed, turning to the girl with nearly bulging-wide eyes! What even... If the space-police were on her tail, Frozen would do well NOT to associate with her! ...And if Maxis WAS... Oh, boy... what did he get himself into... Frozen felt a wave of exasperation and frustration wash over him as his body slumped over slightly, giving up in trying to establish himself here. OBVIOUSLY he wasn't going to be able to get away, not with these two as powerful as they now are. At the risk of his pride taking a visceral pounding, Frozen had to admit he was now subject to these strangers and he was going to have to play by THEIR rules (specifically Blume's) if he was going to make it out of here in one piece.

"...Very well." He sighed/groaned, Frozen's power doubling... AGAIN! His energy would spike and envelope the Duke in an opaque blue energy-sphere... only for it to CRACK open a minute later, revealing his TRUE form! He had reduced his size back down to a respectable 6 feet, his head having changed again to a triceratops-style frill. His body had slimmed considerably to roughly Maxis' proportions, his energy quietly buzzing around this form like an invisible aura. "This is my fourth and final form, the peak of my power."

...It felt so limp saying it when he was surrounded by THESE freaks of nature!

Ugh... What a ridiculous set of circumstances. What he would give for a space-ship out of here so he could back home where things made sense... Swallowing his frustrations, Frozen would turn back to Blume, offering her a polite, if strained smile from behind his mask.

"Would you do me the honor of aiding me in this fight...?" Frozen asked. "I am afraid your friend's power would be... insurmountable at my current level."

Against both her AND this full Arcosian, no matter how weak he was, Maxis' chances were greatly reduced. "My apologies to you if this all seems rather sudden and overwhelming, Duke. I understand that seeing all of this at once may be a system shock. To that end..." Ah. He had been trying to be conspicuous about it, but Blume's own blunt phrasing had set Frozen off. "Yes, the Galactic Patrol. They've been hounding Blume for quite some time though you must understand it is not for a very just reason."

Hopefully that attempt to smooth over the little wound such an issue caused would be successful. And then the WORST part came where the Arcosian accepted an offer of aid, much to Maxis' surprise. "I see you left vanity behind where many of your brothers would not." It was a compliment on the surface but the Terran was seething underneath. He couldn't exactly go on the offensive after expending a large chunk of his energy previously in the fight so for now he'd have to recuperate and see if Blume would try and take the initiative. Truthfully he was more suited to one on ones so the thought of a team battle... things were not looking good.

Blume tended to be quite nonchalant about her situation with the Galactic Patrol. She didn't fear them, which lead to her complete disregard for their rules. However, the woman did fear the connections their organization possessed, and Maxis was smart to deflect the arcosian's suspicions. Adding on to her old rival, she would confirm "Yeah... We just had a- misunderstanding you could say. Nothing to worry about really... Of course, I'll help you humble my old friend here. Heh."

Seeing the final form of an arcosian was a rare occurrence, even if it was a slightly weaker member of their race. It would certainly be the first time Blume witnessed such a thing, leading to her giving Frozen long whistle "You don't see that every day. I think we may actually win this... If you can keep up frosty." The young woman would then turn her gaze to Maxis. She was the type who fought with rage, frustration, anger. Someone more tactical like her 'brother' could usually outsmart the hybrid, but she planned on this time being different.

Rather than a one-on-one fight, she actually had an ally this time, someone to assist with her various attacks. If the pair complimented each other, then their battle would already be won. At least Blume thought so. "Maybe this is just to beat you Maxis... Just once... But I don't care." The woman's aura would explode as she launched herself through the air towards the tarren.

As she approached, her right fist would already be surrounded by violet energy. Once in range, she would attempt to land a solid punch against the man's stomach, empowered by her ki. "You know how I fight, victory... at all costs!"

Knowing these things about his "partner" Blume didn't exactly make the Arcosian any more comfortable in the knowledge that he had chosen to ally with her. There was no telling what she would do after Maxis was defeated, after all. She could just as easily turn on him, threatening HIS wellbeing just as easily as Maxis could, her history with the Galactic Patrol implying as much! Still, the alternative was a visceral beatdown by someone capable of moving him... even in his FINAL form! No... No, that wouldn't do. He would sooner take his chances with someone remotely comparable than another who could wipe him out in a single blow. Maxis, though, would seem to take exception to this turn of events, comparing Frozen to his brethren and how readily the Duke was willing to abandon his pride. The Arcosian only chuckled lightly and shook his head, spreading his arms to either side of himself.

"My friend, I only have ONE brother." Frozen stated, his aura crackling to life all around him! Blue energy BURNED hotly around the reptilian leader, his sanguine eyes peering out ominously from within. "...And appearances are not something either of us are prepared to cling to."

On that fine point, Blume would take the initiative, Frozen instead choosing to hang back for the moment and gather his energy. His previous fight with Maxis had still left him breathless, no matter what form he took and that meant he wouldn't be as much of a help just now. He would be able to help in this fight, of that he was certain... but he wouldn't be able to wade in blindly like before... To attack Maxis now was to draw attention to himself when he was at his (current) weakest... He would let Blume take point... for now.

"Look at you getting along so swimmingly with your new friend Blume. I must say I'm rather proud you found someone else capable of tolerating you at all." At the very least, she was forthright about her motivations for fighting. She was so determined to gain an advantage that she formed teams with random Arcosians. Maxis was well aware that with the two of them acting as one, he stood a good chance of losing this battle. To win, he'd have to play it extremely carefully... or at the absolute least, take Blume out first so she didn't have the satisfaction of 'defeating' him in one way or another. "What warrior would I be to decline such a friendly challenge?"

As Maxis' brawler-intensive sister went for a feeble punch, Frozen chose to let the hybrid jump forward first, recovering his previous power. It struck with enough force to elicit a small grunt, but Maxis seemed unfazed, rearing back and attempting to strike Blume in the face with a sharp punch. He'd continue with a string of kicks, hit, block, or miss, in an attempt to get through her elevated upper guard. Maxis was seeking to take full advantage of the fact that relying primarily on your arms for combat led to a disregard of these areas. "Come now Blume, I know you can hit harder than that."

Her punch had landed, but not without some recourse. While the hybrid extended her arm, she neglected to defend her body, thinking little about Maxis' potential counter attack. This lapse in judgment would cost her, as the man retaliated in kind. A strike would meet her face without the chance to dodge, and she would barely manage to raise her guard in time to protect against his subsequent attacks. Thankfully, none of his attacks had been powered up too vastly by ki. Otherwise, things would have already been over.

Knowing she would have to be more careful with her next move, Blume would duck one of Maxis' kicks before lunging right back at him with yet another enhanced punch. This one had just as much force as the last, and kept the young woman fired up to fight. "You'll have to try harder Maxis. Don't toy with me, or you'll lose this! I know you'd never let yourself live it down if you did." She would smirk, figuring there was some truth to her statement. Working with the arcosian may have been through desperation, but this was her best shot at a victory yet. If the pair played their cards right that was.

She would look over her shoulder to the sight of Frozen recovering the damage dealt to him previously. That was good, he would need stamina for the battle to come. Attempting to give her temporary ally an opportunity to attack, Blume would fly backwards upon conclusion of her strike attempt. "Frozen, now!"

Well... If appearances alone didn't establish that Frozen was in over his spikey, little head... this display of combat DID. The Arcosian watched with no small amount of awe as Maxis and Blume went at it like phantoms, their movements faded into the background as pseudo-afterimages with blows like bomb-explosions being traded back and forth! The Duke couldn't begin to imagine how low his chances might be had he chosen to engage Maxis alone, this man taking a blow casually that would have knocked Frozen clean OUT potentially! As his aura gathered within, finally recuperating to something resembling maximum, Blume would lurch back again, commanding the arcosian to take HIS turn!

"Wh...." He gasped, staring at Blume in shock! That was it...? A couple punches and he was already being sent in!? Lord Kai's above, if this was what this fight was looking like, Frozen hoped Earthling medical technology was anything remotely comparable to the healing pods on Froza-Prime. Shaking the fear of complete bodily decimation out of his mind, Frozen would LUNGE at Maxis, throwing a punch at his face then a kick towards his stomach before his tail would shoot out from below and wrap around Maxis' leg! Should he manage to get a grip, the Arcosian would PULL hard, aiming to trip-up the young fighter and send him crashing to the ground! Should he succeed, Frozen would quickly level a finger down towards Maxis' face, firing off a volley of weaker Death-beams to hammer into him!

"Do not just stand there, Blume!" Frozen exclaimed before jumping back himself. "We are not powerful enough to take him on separately! If we do not attempt this together, we are sure to fail."

"Is that projection I'm hearing, Blume?" Maxis prided himself on his immense strength, but that didn't mean he was incapable of recognizing that he was not invincible. "A defeat here while you are allied with one of the strongest species in the Galaxy... what would that prove to me? Perhaps that I need to grow once again, but if you assume it'd make me think that YOU are stronger? Hardly." The Terran's power would suddenly spike again as the fistfighter moved in with another low-powered punch. Maxis caught her fist handily and with a grim smirk attempted to move slightly inward, delivering a sharp empowered knee to her gut. "I don't think your friend was quite ready yet!"

Indeed Frozen began to close the distance, throwing a soft punch would score a hit as Maxis' head tilted slightly backward because of it. The kick, however, only grazed him as Maxis turned to allow the Arcosian's leg to move past him, holding up his palm directly in Frozen's face and unleashing a near point-blank Double Buster wave. His other hand would come up shortly after, firing ANOTHER blast at the Arcosian without any semblance of mercy to the weaker foe! He was an Arcosian after all - incredibly durable according to rumors. Surely he'd be able to survive this?

Unfortunately, her new ally's various attacks hadn't been too effective against Maxis, and the man's snarky comments were really getting on the hybrid's nerves. He claimed she was 'projecting', what did he know about her feelings? He was never kind to her growing up, but they never hated each other. Blume was the one who usually took time to read her opponents, but she already knew what to expect from this one. The taunting words of a brother.

Amidst her attempt at another attack, a powerful knee would slam into her gut. Blume would be sent flying back dozens of meters away upon impact. She would cough in pain, panting and trying to catch her breath. That one hurt, and her attack had done little to no damage. Her reptilian ally on the other hand would receive a far worse fate, two incoming energy blasts. They were sent too quickly for her to assist in defending him, meaning Frozen was on his own. With some luck, hopefully he would remain standing. The hybrid still needed more time to unleash a special attack she had been saving up for. Something that would damage even Maxis.

"Frozen! You alright!?" She would turn her attention back to her brother and spit "I'll show you just what I can do. I will surpass you. Not with one victory, but in pure power."

Well... that went down the complete opposite of what he had intended. WHAT WAS THIS PLANET!? Frozen, the once mighty emperor, would suffer a beatdown so horrendous, so one-sided and brutal, the Duke, even in his FINAL FORM was beginning to lose consciousness! Two blasts would HAMMER Frozen into the ground, burying him so deep into the planet's crust, one wouldn't even be able to see his body amidst the rocks and darkness! ...Not that they would want to. From those hits alone, at least two of Frozen's horns had been snapped off at the tip, his white-bio-armor having been cracked and ripped off in places! His deep-blue skin was seared black across his chest and along the left side of his face, his left eye having been forced shut with an ugly burn-mark over it! He let out a low groan, wincing as a sharp, ugly pain arched up his shoulder and down his arm, the arcosian looking over to see a deep, purple stream of blood rolling down his arm from a gaping gash within his shoulder!

"...Curse... Him..." Frozen uttered, slowly pulling himself from the rubble! "...He... will PAY... for this..."

One trembling inch at a time, Frozen would rise from the crevasse he was blasted into, his mask half-ripped off his face to reveal his mouth curled into a pained, angered snarl, blood rolling down from the corner of his mouth! Blume would question if the Arcosian was alright... but Frozen would not answer. WHY WOULD HE!? Was the state of his body not an obvious-enough answer for her!? He felt and looked like a ragged, half-dead excuse of a man who's only standing due to a SURGE of adrenaline! Frozen was finished... it was just a matter of knocking him down again.

His vision in his one good eye was starting to fade in and out, Maxis splitting into two and then fading back into one... Frozen had only a little bit of juice left so he would have to make use of it! LUNGING at Maxis, Frozen would throw his good-elbow out to SLAM into Maxis' face and throw him back, his tail then LUNGING out to snag the man's leg and SLAM him to the ground in a whip-lash style throw! in one more quick motion, the Duke would complete his DEATH-WILD, HURLING Maxis into the air as one eye-beam would SHOOT from Frozen's one open-eye, crashing into the boy and blowing up!

"Uuuurk..." Frozen huffed, dropping to one knee, clutching at his wounded arm and huffing weakly...
