"... And that's ten! Another contestant knocked on their back by the fiery miss JACKIE JEANS!"
An announcer roared as the dust settled on one of the larger rings of the battle island. The crowd had gathered in a rip of applause once again. It was deafening at this point to hear their sound. The white noise that built up around this event the fiery lass started. She was on her dozenth challenger at this point barely breaking a sweat at what battle island had to offer up. This poor white-robed muscle man was laid out flat on his back by the time Jackie could look down at them.
"Is that... really all this is going to be?"
Jackie questioned herself, relaxing from her stance while some help from the island came on stage and helped the man back on up. She could only give him a proper bow on his exit, half of which she wasn't sure he even saw. She was expecting more promising acts from the place. it was year-round, and unlike the Budokai didn't attract so much interplanetary attention. She saw it as a perfect place to potentially scout around for anyone else strong in the woodworks with a good heart on them. She knew damn well it'd take more than hers or Fend's own efforts to get some people whipped in shape. The prospect of properly teaching others wasn't something she ever thought of doing before this. And, part of her wanted desperately to spread her own people's culture through it.
"Does anyone else care to come down here!? Make me work for it!"
The sun monk waved at the crowd, the announcer's stand, everywhere. And she waited. Several minutes. The crowd waited for several minutes. Seems they wanted nothing more than the sport. Which was fine. But none among them came forwards. She couldn't sense anyone out of the current gathering either. She only had to shrug to herself and walk off to her side of the ring. Grabbing a water bottle and sitting cross-legged on the corner of the ring while she patiently remained vigil. She wasn't leaving until she found someone who fit the bill or she was worn out by the plethora of fighters.
