GENERAL INFORMATION
NAME: Gray
ALIASES: Pursuer
AGE: Four
GENDER: Male
SPECIES: Bio-Android
>> ENHANCED DNA (REGENERATION): Once per thread you may heal yourself for 60% damage. This may only be done at the end of your post.
>> MASTERFUL DESIGN: You can pick any additional third General Trait during character creation.
>> ASSIMILATED POWER (RESILIENCE): Increases the total damage you can sustain by 20%, and increases your Critical Damage Threshold by 30%.
GENERAL TRAITS -
>> ANTISENSE: Your ki is invisible to energy sensing and scouters, even in the midst of combat - this can be toggled on and off. In addition, escape techniques have a boost of +20% to their total effectiveness and your first escape technique per thread costs no KP.
>> IMPOSSIBLE RECOVERY: If you are defeated by taking Critical Damage in an Action Thread, you can choose to be dealt a Wound and continue the fight with whatever HP you have remaining. >> QUICK LEARNER: You gain technique slots every 8,000 PL instead of every 10,000 PL.
STARTING PLANET: Earth
HOME REGION: No
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Based on the PFP. FC is Hank from Madness Combat, Artwork by "Irish Suki" on Newgrounds.
BACKGROUND: "Born" from a test tube and initially known only as 'artificial human fifty-seven', Gray's simulacrum of a life was not a happy one. His existence was created from the formation of a close-knit transhumanist science organization. The group was Hellbent on perfecting the base 'human' biologically without the need for mechanical implants or enhancements, as they believed such things to be an affront to the concept of life and evolution. The experiments focused on creating a human that could physically mature in a few short years, recover from nearly any injury, and become immune to nearly all types of conventional diseases and other forms of biological warfare. Their funding and subsequent secrecy were not accomplished alone - a criminal organization known as the Dirty Snakes acted as the benefactors for the project. In return, they were promised the delivery of an elite untraceable assassin with built-in obedience as repayment.
Using DNA from the most physically fit and powerful humans the group could source as a template, the regeneration trait found in Namekians, Majins, and certain aliens were all sourced as well to build upon it. While still mostly human in appearance the result of such mish-mashing results in beings with permanently grayish skin and no noses to speak of. Gray was the first specimen stable enough to raise into adulthood, a task that took only three years. He was fitted with an obedience chip in his 'core', a biological replacement for the brain that was much much smaller and harder to destroy in one fell swoop. Over this time Gray was relentlessly drilled in all skills necessary for an assassin. Stealth ops, weapons proficiency in both firearms and melee, and emotional suppressants to prevent any thoughts of rebellion and the development of regret and/or morality.
Of course, these weren't entirely effective... not that the scientists knew that, as Gray was well aware of his situation and forced compliance. Once his training was complete and he was shipped off to work as an assassin, this was the prime chance to start searching for his freedom.
