It had been some time since Amara had called for assistance to Plant, the 'Azoth Button' as she called it in private. The Arcosian was trustworthy and would always side with justice. So why hadn't she gone to rendevous with such an ally? The button sat dead in her palm, functionally useless as the trans-galaxy signal required a single high-powered battery to use. The hybrid's lips tugged downwards as she let the device fall further into the gaseous choked depths below, heaving a sigh. Her investigations into the destron-clogged ruins of a city known (creatively) as the 'ruined metropolis' were not nearing an end. And Amara could ill afford to end it prematurely even if that meant keeping Azoth waiting. Surely a benevolent ruler could find some patience.
There was a massive clue buried here somewhere. A key to her past... and her father. Yangcong was originally meant to accompany her to make searching easier (even if she didn't fully trust the man) but with his capture at the hands of the Saiyans to (somewhat rightfully) answer for his war crimes. Amara felt a small pang of pain at the thought of his passing, yet it was truly the JUST thing to happen. For now, all she could do is continue scouring.
Yangcong had arrived in a tattered and dirty robe covered in grime with long hair dusted that it made him look like a former shell of himself. Where was his past exactly....here... It all started here in this ruin and forsaken city. As he walked what was once known as a city where they fought decades ago, his father had actually died here in this very city against the tuffle ambush. And yet, he stood near a manhole where he had recalled his last memory of his father defending him and his mother from the destron has that had attacked them and then, plagued them to their deaths. After looking into his memories and at the manhole, he could sense a nearby power level and a familiar ki signature and knowing who it was immediately. Wearing the shackles of an escaped criminal and walking towards Amara as the gas still somewhat linger but faded within time that anyone with good vision could make out who the other person was. As he got closer, he stared at Amara's back and smiled briefly.
"Amara.... funny seeing you here. I came here for other reasons.. This is the place where my father died to the tuffle ambush."
"The hell?!" The hybrid whipped around, sensing only now registering the familiar presence of someone wholly unexpected. She had been so caught up in daydreams that the nightmare managed to creep up on her. "Yangcong...?" She paused, unsure if the grimy and ragged figure was really him even if his signature was a direct match. The man who once wore brilliant armor and fought with fire in spite of his age now looked like any old vagabond you could find wandering the streets. "Here." Out came the hilt of a blade, and with a click, an emerald-hued blade of energy extended forth from it. With quick precision, she aimed to, at the least, release the man from his shackles. Sure he was likely an outlaw at the moment but...
The sword hissed as the blade retracted, Amara replacing it at her hip. "Don't take that as friendship. You just deserved to have no shackles in a place like this. Give you a fighting chance I suppose." Her eyes closed as the older man went to explain that they happened to be standing in the same spot his father had perished decades ago. The chances of the location and the ground being preserved enough to recognize that were astronomical, yet here they were. "It's hard," She admitted freely. "I don't know if it's better to watch your father die before your eyes protecting you, or to simply know he died in a distant incident." The correct choice was neither. Yet that wasn't really an option left to them anymore. "What are you doing here, Yangcong?" Amara's voice was soft yet sharp at the same time.
The shackles were cut in half and he looked at her. His vision had truly failed him in his dying hour. He coughed up blood and with haze in his vision he looked at her as he smirked.
"I often visit here. So much so that this destron gas I believe has plagued me. They say that if you don't die by the gas, you live long enough for the effects to take place. Though this amount here wouldn't be enough to plague anyone. But with my years of service and handling the gas, I believe that is how I acquired my.."
He coughed violently into his right hand as he looked at the aftermath of it, blood was present and as he looked at Amara, he could only see a blur of her now.
"I came here to remember how my father died. But I wasn't expecting you to be here. When I see you Amara, I think of Commander Garrick your father. I served with him proudly.."
He struggled to even pull out the photo of him and Garrick during their younger days and his arm began to shake at the struggle of even turning to show her it. Then he had placed the picture back into his dirty robe and stared into her eyes.
"Its the only thing of value I have left in this accursed world."
"Yangcong..." She shouldn't feel sympathy or empathy for this man. He has committed undeniably cruel and heinous acts over countless years and was rightfully branded a war criminal that deserved nothing less than death. Yet how could she look at an old man coughing up blood, caked with dirt, and struggling to cling onto past memories and think that he needs to be killed? Garrick is gone." Her head dipped low in mourning. "He's been dead for years and yet I still am not strong enough to move past his death. I'm not sure what he would think of me. Yet I know that I am not a fraction of the warrior or leader he was."
Amara reached for a capsule, gingerly popping it open to reveal a leafy bean. "This is a variant of the Senzu. Eat it. Your ailments won't be cured but they should at least temporarily abate." Her eyes closed for a moment, foul wind howling around them. "Yangcong. The way you are you have no future. I've heard distant talk from the Snakes I've hired that you're being considered less and less of an asset. Rosemary wants your head on a pike. Azoth and the Heroes want you in jail. Where are you going to go?"
She gave him a bean and he walked over and took it. As he ate it, he could tell that his vision got slightly better and his sickness was slightly declining to where he wasn't going to cough up blood for a small period of time.
"Your father may be gone.. but he has always lived inside of you... and me. I never forgot about him or anyone that I have ever cared about. You may hate me for what I have ultimately become. But they won't ever understand us tuffles Amara. The saiyans see us as dirt. This war will never end! There has never been a peace treaty ever in existence Amara!"
He would look at her face to face with a smirk.
"But together! Me and you can take down Rosemary and Azoth and anyone who stands in our way! I have always seen you like a daughter Amara, watching over you."
He'd clench his right fist and smiled.
"What do you say Amara! A second chance at destroying those saiyans and ending this war once and for all! No one will stop us this time! No! As you see! I have acquired my Oozaru form! I am able to stop this war with it!"

"What if I don't WANT to take down Azoth...? He's strong Yangcong. The strongest our galaxy has ever known, and his heart beats for justice. He has sided with the Tuffle cause on matters of the war and with his support Rosemary doesn't stand a chance. I have trust in him to end the war Yangcong. And no matter how you put it, your future is either in a jail cell or in the afterlife. No matter the reasons you did what you've done, they are still crimes. You have to answer for them." Amara couldn't let sentimentality dictate her response to him. They had history together but history was in the past.
"I have to decline your offer." She stared into his eyes firmly. "And if you leave I have no choice but to alert someone of your position. ...Please, Yangcong, consider something. I have no interest in harming a defenseless enemy. That's why I gave you that bean." Amara paused, struggling to get the following words out. The idea was sudden and the mere thought of it was incorrigible. "Fight me, Yangcong. Here and now. Let us decide who should shape the future by force. So you've unlocked Oozaru?" She pointed overhead to the brilliant moon shining above them. "Make use of it."
"You...CHOOSE TO BETRAY ME! I HAVE ONLY BEEN LOYAL TO YOU AND YET... Betrayed me since the first!" Azoth was right, she was a traitor and easily gave up information on Yangcong that only made his blood boil at this point. He would end her and then, he would destroy the Capital in his ape form. No one would stop him from his desire to end this war once and for all!
He'd clench his fist in anger and threw it against the wind as he stared into her eyes one last time before looking at the moon. A single tear escaped, as he entered his elder white oozaru form and easily towering over her. He was uncontrolled, a monster that couldn't be brainwashed no longer. With a loud roar to the heavens, his sight caught the only being that was here, Amara. Indirectly aiming his mouth at her and firing a massive mouth beam so grand that it would shake the ground afterwards and form a giant crater in its place. The crazy war criminal Yangcong was at his highest peak now and none could stop him. He was a raging ape ready to destroy anything and everything in his path.

"Look at yourself Yangcong, you're UNSTABLE!" It was like a switch had been flipped as soon as she had declined. Gone was the reminiscent old man and in his place was the true Yangcong. A war criminal. "TRANSFORM THEN! THROW AWAY WHAT LIFE YOU HAD LEFT!" Amara twirled her sword into a firm two-handed grip, blade igniting with ferocity as the man finished his descent into madness. The battle kicked off with no further delay as a giant mouth beam was aimed in her general direction, the hybrid quick to blitz out of the way as the spot she'd previously been standing in was cratered.
"God damn it Yangcong. Why." The words were mumbled as she continued to run, leaping up to slash at the Oozaru's chest with her blade. It likely wouldn't pierce deeply as intended but the scorching energy edge would certainly hurt. She'd flip backward, taking flight in an attempt to avoid any immediate counterattack within range of the ape's giant hands. Despite the size difference, the power schism was much, much smaller. There'd be no easy way for Yangcong to easily end the fight in his favor if Amara went for a hit and run strategy.

She was quick on her feet but the ape was that much faster when it came at her feeble attempt to slice at him with her sword. As he began to leap away from her he would channel his energy into his mouth and began to charge up a massive beam that was bigger than ever before. As he aimed it right, he fired it straight for the girl in hopes of doing some serious destruction!
Yangcong stood beside Garrick as they were on a mothership together that Garrick was leading. They both stood elegant standing side by side with one another.
"I approved your request for leave."
Yangcong had gotten to a kneel as he bowed before him.
"Thank you Commander Garrick, As you know I.."
"I hope you and your wife will have a healthy child. Perhaps, one day he could help us win this war."
Yangcong stood to his feet and saluted him.
"Thank you sir, I am eternally grateful."
"After the mission you went on. You definitely deserve it if anything. With your help Yangcong, I believe the war will come to an end with your aid. Also tell your wife that I say hi. Perhaps one day me and my wife will come visit."

The Oozaru gained some distance before firing off another beam with a bit more force behind it. Amara grunted, channeling some more energy into her sword which she released mid-air. The lightning-coated blade spun in place, forming an impromptu defense against the beam as it split it down the center to leave Amara untouched by the attempt. Amara fell back to the ground lightly, catching her sword and staring up at the Oozaru with a sneer. "IS THAT IT, YANGCONG!?" His mind may have been trapped beneath a primal rage now but Amara couldn't stop herself from trying to speak to him.
Garrick had laughed, clapping the spy on the back with a smile. "You deserve some happiness in life, my friend. The dark deeds you've undertaken in service of country... well, let's say I wouldn't wish them upon my worst enemies. The sacrifice men like you make goes unknown throughout our kingdom and that is a true tragedy." His smile faded slightly, head tilting to stare off into the distance. "it won't be easy. Having a child never is. It is both the happiest and most stressful experience of one's life. And war is no environment to raise one in."
Amara clashes Mouth Beam with her Lightning Javelin OVERFLOWING technique! Due to the clash it gains +10% power and manages to fizzle!
He had closed his mouth in frustration as he ran over to her and attempted to stomp on her rapidly. If that had failed, he attempted to grab at her left and right. He would use his size to his advantage and for a moment, he was gaining somewhat control over the ape form. However it was such a small percentage that he still was going crazy and insane as of right now.
Yangcong paced back and forth, waiting to hear the news. Finally, the doctors brought him in. He held his boy in his arms and looked at his wife.
"A beautiful baby boy..."
His wife agreed as she replied back.
"He has your eyes you know."
Some time had passed and they had taken a photo together with their son. As more time passed, his wife had complications and had died afterwards. The doctors had explained that due to the internal blood that she had, that she wasn't going to make it. He rushed, he tried fighting the doctors to see her one last time. They knew that if he had witnessed it in his rage form that he would go off. After some time had cool down and time had passed, Garrick entered Yangcong's office and stared at him.
"If there is anything that I can do. You know I am here for you."
Yangcong didn't say anything and looked at the only photo he had of him and his wife. After some silence had passed, he stared at Garrick.
With a frustrated grunt, the beast rushed her, foot rising and slamming down rapidly in an attempt to stop the grounded hybrid. Narrowly avoiding the first two, Amara lifted off the ground into the air. This forced the ape to switch to wide swats and grabs with his massive arms. Despite their appearance Oozaru were not slower due to their size. If anything the speed a Saiyan had beforehand translated even better into a larger form. "I can't keep playing on the backfoot like this." Amara's teeth grit, the woman unsure of how to broach the attack.
"...There is more to this conflict than normal war, my friend, though most of our people wouldn't know it. There is animosity between the public of the Tuffles and Saiyans. Deep-rooted suspicion and hatred that will serve only to keep the war going." Garrick heaved a heavy sigh, kneeling to match Yancong's height. "You have a child now to care for, Yangcong. You must do your best to raise the well even without your wife..." A look of pain flashed across the commander's face. "Trust me when I say I know the feeling all too well. Yet we must play with the cards life has dealt us."
Yangcong was now in control of his ape form and as he looked at Amara, his deep voice echoed through the sky itself as he stared her down.
"Choosing to not be on my side, is the same situation of you abandoning your father. Your father and I had the same goals in mind! We continued to fight the same war. We understood that this war was going to continue on no matter what! You chose the wrong side! You have forced my hand! This was the cards that were dealt to me!"
With his right hook cocked back, he attempted to punch her straight down into the ground and 6ft under at that.
Yangcong stood next to the gravestones of both his wife and son. He held an umbrella as he tried to cover the rain from hitting him. Sadness was upon his face and he closed his eyes as tears fell from them. He opened them again as he placed one set of flowers on each gravestone as he kneeled before them. Garrick was nearby and just watched. With a fresh burnt mark across his face. It represented a forever changed soldier in this war. Every step he took in this life, it only got worst for him.
Heavy Technique Attack l Smash!
Yangcong attempts to smash his opponents to the ground in his oozaru form.
"How DARE you!? My father trusted you... and that trust was obviously fucking MISPLACED! He would never condone the horrible, horrible shit you've been up to Yangcong! He was willing to fight to protect people but he was no war criminal like you!" A giant fist came flying at her as Amara formed a barrier in response, protecting her from the brunt of the blow as the force sent the hybrid careening into the ground. A surge of pain flickered through her, Amara coughing up a small amount of blood. Pushing the pain aside she darted forward beneath the ape's legs, sword angled upwards in an empowered slice aimed at loping off the man's tail entirely.
"I'm sorry for your loss." Garrick's voice was quiet and reserved, a rare thing for the military man. "I know that sorry cannot truly ease the pain you feel at this moment, my friend, but please take mine regardless. Your wife and Yakone were almost like an extended family to me. To see both die in such horrific ways... you deserved better." War and loss were unfair things. They could strike at any time and take away what you valued most. "Just promise me one thing, Yangcong... I need you to-"
Amara enters OVERCHARGE granting her techniques 10% extra power!
She uses Disperse (Shield) to defend against Smash and fails, taking a reduced bleed through of 175,000 (70%)
Amara retaliates with an empowered Lightning Bolt in the form of a blade slash at Yangcong's tail for 200,000 (67%)
