"Screw space. I could take space."
Clearly she couldn't "take" space, but Pandora was confident as ever that it would take an act of god to put her down for good, and as far as she as concerned, that wasn't the vacuum of space. It wasn't the first or the last time she was wrong about a fight, but at least in this case it wasn't something that could punch her down a few pegs for saying it out loud.
Despite her feelings about her chances of taking out space in a fight, she wasn't fond of the planet floating in it she was essentially stranded on. It wasn't that Earth was a horrible place, but much like Planet Namek, she found the place mostly boring. No one had a sense of humor as far as she was concerned, and she found it hard to find a good fight with someone that didn't want to try kicking her teeth in over a spar.
His response to her question caused her to audibly laugh, then quickly wince in pain and grab at more than a few broken ribs. She was far from a quiet person, and her laughter usually followed suit, and this was no different, at least not before being cut off with an oof of pain. Even through the pain she looked over with a half grimacing smile on her face and shook her head.
"I don't have many allies there pal. I work for Azoth and we've been friends since I was a tiny ass kicker. I guess that technically makes me a part of the cool kids club he's running, but we aren't allies just yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against it and I'm not giving you shit about it, but I don't know you and you don't know me. We gotta build that trust both ways, and ain't neither of us did it yet. If you got questions I'll answer 'em, and if you need someone to throw a punch with you in a fight yeah call me, but we ain't allies just yet all the same."
Her more relaxed way of speaking began to slip out the more she talked, but she tried reeling it in once more, hearing Azoth's voice in her head and the scolding he gave when she let it slip too far.
