Majin Madness (Liari)

Kuzam still FUMED at Crotona... but seeing his sister get up... relatively undamaged helped cool his temper somewhat. At least she wouldn't be whining after this, about how she was all cut-up and stuff... If anything, she would be pestering him for the next few days about how STRONG her friend the konatsian was! 

Ugh... 

He didn't know what was worse! 

The two Liari's would take each other's hands, their bodies sinking into one-another before reforming back into one whole! The little blue girl would sigh happily, rolling her shoulders, craning her neck from one side to the other, then leaning over and stretching her leg! Kuzam would watch, perplexed by these exercises... What purpose could they serve? Her body was as malleable as she wanted it to be so... there were no joints to pop nor tendons to stretch! Searching his memories, he found NOTHING to indicate that Liari knew what SHE was doing either! Kuzam's eyes narrowed. 

What was up with her...?

"OKAY! I ready now!" Liari announced, her aura FLARING back up again! "LETS FIGHT!" Crotona questioned if that was REALLY what she wanted after what she went through! "Yuhuh!" Liari would nod, raising her fists eagerly! "I not fight many as strong as you, Crotona! I want more! I punch you dozen more times before I stop!"

"...Guess I have to, too." Kuzam sighed, flying casually down beside his sister, raising his own fists. With his magic put away, Kuzam hoped, too, that Crotona would do them a favor and NOT swing that broken hunk of metal their way as often... The last thing he needed was to feel what multiple dismemberments felt like for himself! The horror shows that were Liari's memories were enough. 

"ALRIGHTY WE GO!" Liari declared, LUNGING at Crotona with Kuzam right behind! Liari would throw a sharp PUNCH dead at Crotona's cheek, Kuzam throwing a knee up towards her stomach, the two then throwing twin-uppercuts under the konatsian's jaw to drive her further back!

Kuzam found it odd how much damage a pair of mere uppercuts could do to someone as fast and strong as Crotona... After all, durability, often correlated with one's other physical attributes. For example, if one couldn't punch through a rock, throwing that rock at him would hurt! Similarly, With how much Liari had struggled engaging Crotona in a head-on attack, he had thought the grey-skinned elf-like swordswoman would have put up MUCH MORE resistance to the attack they had landed! His eyes would follow the blood the konatsian had spat, staring at it in thought. Perhaps she was much weaker than she was strong... Maybe THAT was why she was so fast and mighty! He relayed his thoughts to his twin via telepathy... only for him to get static back! The little blue girl wasn't at ALL thinking of how to exploit this fight... No, she was bobbing there, eagerly awaiting the backlash! She looked like a child standing before Santa, eyes all wide and giddy, lips spread so wide in a near-manic smile that she practically split her face in two! Didn't she want to WIN this!? Why was she so OBLIVIOUS to the pain Crotona was capable of inflicting!? WHY didn't that AGONY of being cut in two stick with her!?

Well, Kuzam didn't have much time to mull on his sister's behavior as the flat of Crotona's blade would SMASH into his face! 

"URK!" He gagged as his head SNAPPED FAR BACK! So far, in fact, that his neck STRETCHED along with it, SHOOTING WELL OVER THE HORIZON as the body stood there, stunned with shock! Before Liari could exact proper VENGEANCE for treating Kuzam's head like a cricket-ball, Crotona would WHIRL around quickly, her boot SLAMMING into the little blue girl's gut! 

"UUUUUGH!" She groaned, hunching over the toe that POKED out her back, hacking up a glop of saliva! Her body quivered weakly, her hand coming up to grab at Crotona's ankle... and HOLD IT IN PLACE! "H....Heh... G.....Gotcha...!" Liari would giggle tensely, her grin strained with the pain of Crotona's boot digging into her belly! 

Kuzam's head would come FLYING back, aiming to SLAM his forehead DEAD into the center of Crotona's face, aiming to STUN her from the sudden impact! Should it connect, Liari would lash out with a kick of her own, aiming now to drill HER foot into the konatsian's stomach!

WELL, Kuzam had been proven wrong in his hypothesis... because Crotona took those hits like a champ! Kuzam's head would SMASH into the Konatsian's cheek and she would barely stumble! Liari's boot would CRASH into her stomach and it would only give slightly! ...Kuzam was in AWE. Crotona might not have been the most powerful foe they've ever faced, but she CERTAINLY was one of the most tenacious and durable! Heck, she even found the time, with a boot in her stomach, to offer a comment to the two Majin, remarking on how smart and mighty their teamwork really was... and then proceed to STOMP it into the Namekian dirt! 

Liari herself was having the time of her life here! It really wasn't that often she got to fight another girl... and one as strong as Crotona! She was REALLY attached to that sword, though... Maybe if she got rid of it, she could see how good of a fighter her friend was! That was what she wanted to see, how good she was at fisticuffs! Nothing was more fun than trading punches and stuff! Crotona would show how much she liked that idea... by SMASHING Liari over her head with her sword as if it were a bottle in the middle of a bar-fight. The little blue girl would go down about as quickly too, SMASHING face-first into the dirt below so hard, she actually made a 10-inch dent the shape her body into the dirt! Stunned, Liari would just lie there, blinking the dust out of her eyes, feeling the softness of the dirt wrap around her like the foam of a mattress. 

She so strong... Liari snickered to herself giddily. Wish I as strong...

Kuzam would rush in fast, determined to avenge his sister's flattening! He would throw a BIG straight punch at Crotona's cheek... only for his fist to be caught in something... Something brigh-

"OH!" He cried in shock as Crotona unleashed a ki-blast in his direction! INSTANTLY, he would feel his arm FIZZLE away in the blast, Kuzam recoiling with pain as he GRABBED at his now stub-shoulder! The sound of her brother in distress would ALERT Liari to the situation and it's gravity, PEELING herself off the ground and LUNGING at Crotona, she would aim to tackle her and DRAG her to the ground, straddling her hips with her legs as she rained punch after punch on her! Face, chest, stomach, all free game to The Majin! 

All the while... Kuzam focused on regrowing his lost limb!

Liari grunted with effort, trying to DRAG to konatsian down to the ground... but she might as well have been trying to topple a mountain at its base for all the good it did! From an outsider's perspective, lit looked as if a child were trying to shove around a massive marble construct, its weight and strength FAR too great for the petite child to budge! Crotona, however, would not stand stock-still in response to these efforts, SHOVING The Majin back with he flat of her blade! Liari would barely find her footing before the hammer that was Crotona's head would come down and SMASH into the little blue girl's, PLOOMS of steam SPURTING from the holes lining her arms indicating the wind LITERALLY being knocked out of her! Liari's legs trembled like saplings before hurricane winds!

...But she was still standing! 

Finding her strength after a moment flirting with unconsciousness, Liari would PUSH back with her own forehead, ignoring the light dribble of her purple blood rolling down her face from where their skulls cracked! Her gaze, still unfocused and almost SICKLY with vertigo, would lock with Crotona's a small grin creeping across her face!

"Not... yet..." She mumbled... before her jaw dropped, revealing a ball of energy pulsating in the back of her throat! 

"BWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" A MASSIVE mouth-blast would EXPLODE out in Crotona's face, hoping to catch her completely off-guard! 

Kuzam, meanwhile, was VERY-SLOWLY reconstructing his arm, bit-by-bit piecing it back together. He was never good at this, healing... He was always so much better at taking things apart! Speaking of which... He watched with horror... then AWE as Liari took and stood up to that ferocious head-butt, the grey, lanky majin deciding that he should join in too! As Liari let off her blast, Kuzam would fire off his own, a pair of pink and black energy-waves FIRING right at Crotona, fusing together in a twisting spiral energy-wave!

With GREAT difficulty, Crotona would BAT the combined beam away as if it were a softball, The two Majin dropping to their knees from abject exhaustion! That was about ALL they had left after the abject THROTTLING Crotona had been giving them, the difference in their power being FAR too great to make up for with their current numbers! Liari had collapsed completely face-down, huffing and puffing, barely able to wipe the blood off her forehead! Kuzam fell hard on his rear, just about able to hold himself up into a sitting-position with his forearms, his hood falling off his head and revealing his gaunt, boney features! 

"You... win..." Liari huffed, writhing on the ground in some vain attempt to rise! Her body just wouldn't respond in the ways necessary for her to raise herself! It was as if it had just GIVEN UP listening to her for the time being! Kuzam wasn't much better, despite taking less direct damage, his arm had only JUST regenerated and was still feeling the gnawing pain of these freshly formed nerves! It only just BARELY supported him without reverting back to gelatinous biomass, The Majin just thankful he could hold himself up with SOME dignity... unlike his sibling! 

"Not... fight... Anymore..." Kuzam confirmed, barely managing to speak through his teeth! Their muscles BURNED like fire inside them, threatening to melt them away into the crags they had created! They had nothing left... Not a puff of energy left in their tanks!
