Arzhael's offensive seemed to be working at first, he managed to cut the alien a bit, although never seriously, but that was not really the goal of this attack, he just wanted to keep the fight going, not let his opponent figure a way to leave him there. Escaping this fight would not be an easy task, if feasible at all, for the saibaman... not unless he knocked the demon down, which the swordsman was not too worried about.
'' What's going on? Still on the defensive? Can't fight back even a little? Not catching my sword anymore? Common! Don't make this boring!''
When he said that, the demon would rise up his shield to block the drop-kick from the alien, sliding him to the side so that he did not get in the way of that attack.
'' A second wind uh? I'd like to see that for sure! By all means, if you have something left in you, use it! Keep fighting until you're exhausted. Keep flying around like a mosquito, in a desperate attempt to evade death. It makes it even better!''
Without waiting for more talking, Arzhael would attempt to charge his opponent with his shield. The goal here was to pin him on it, seeing his relatively small size, he could get him off his feet. If it worked, he would then try to rush right into a building, crushing walls while using the saibaman as a shield.
If the Saibaman evaded the first move, the demon would simply attempt a few slashes still, keeping the alien on his toes and dancing.
He was able to leap up and kick forward but it was blocked by the shield. Saiba-Ban landed back, at least he had stopped Arzhael's attack for the time being. It may not have been what he exactly wanted but he'd just have to roll with what he was given. Now what to do next about this. Still, the demon seemed to not think much of his little second wind. He seemed to think he was still gonna crush him and end his life. Well, that may be trouble but Saiba-Ban would not make it easy. Arzhael already moves in with his shield once more swinging it to charge into him. But no way would he make that easy! Saiba-Ban would leap over the shield to get behind Arzhael. But as it was right when he landed the demon had him figured out. Slashes came flying in and forced Saiba-Ban to dodge again. One slash caught him pretty good making a small fountain of blood flood down his chest. One step forward and two steps back. This was really not going well. But he pushed forward doing what slashes he could to get in range of the Demon to try to kick him his left leg to try to knock him off balance before thrusting both arms to slam into the demon's skull.

Yet another exchange between the Saibaman and the Oni happened, only this time, it seemed Arzhael's opponent managed to find some fight in him! Closing in between slashes, getting too close for the swordsman to do much in his situation, the alien managed to land a few slashes at first, and then his kick to the leg, putting Arzhael in a difficult position. The slamming against his skull did not help in the slightest either, as now the demon took a few steps back, visibly shaken greatly by the offensive. He had gone in too much of a rage and paid that quite a bit. Not a first for the demon, but certainly insulting considering how he viewed his opponent.
It took a few seconds for the demon to regain full control of his senses. When he did, however, his eyes would lock once again with Saiba-Ban. Clearly, this was not working. Alright, he needed to act smarter. One way or another, he had to accept this creature as almost his equal, which was incredibly hard to get into his skull, but under-estimating the creature had brought him nothing positive.
The first thing he did was, strangely enough, dropping his shield, which would evaporate into the ground. Then, explaining this a bit, he would put his second hand on his sword. It was about time he stopped making a fool of himself in front of this creature after all.
After this brief moment of calm, he would lunge at Saiba-Ban, this time, the technique was back. First, a feint. He would pretend at a trust-based attack, but when he actually got close to his foe, he would switch it around and go for a bash with the guard. With both hands, he had much more control over his movements. If the bash worked, he would then spin in himself and attempt to slap the creature across the face with the side of his blade. The creature's defense had to be broken!
Arzhael was hit hard he managed to land exactly what he was looking for. He was able to trip the demon up and hit him with a powerful blow to the head. That seemed to have at least wobbled the demon. If he kept it up he could find his opening. He moved forward as Arzhael dropped his shield, it even fading away, 'what the hell why is he getting rid of the shield' that shield had been pretty dangerous for him. But guess he had something else in mind. He was now using two hands with his blade though. That was dangerous too. He had not seen him use two hands with his sword yet, so this was a whole new style he had to add to this fight. This demon just loved making everything a challenge for him!
Seeing the first attack he'd move to the left. But right away he paid for that by falling right into his feint! He was hit by the bash knocking him back slightly. And that left him perfectly open to being hit by the back hand with the side of the blade. Saiba-Ban was sent flying back smashing through the side of a building. Dust flared up as he laid in the rubble. "Ouch...right this guy is really giving me a whooping," Saiba-Ban said as he launched out of the smoke. Saiba-Ban came forward once more he was not gonna just stop moving cause this guy got a good blow on him. He came down to slam his arms down on the top of his head in an axe handle style blow using the dust to try to cover his movements!

Alright, that was more like it! Good fighter or not, this opponent was certainly teaching Arzhael on how to better fight people outside of the demon realm, where brute force almost always prevailed... but maybe that was also the reason he had been teleported out of it in the first place, perhaps brute force, even down there, couldn't win in every situation. His bash having sent his foe flying towards a building, gave the demon a few seconds to gather his energy for another big attack. This time, however, no tricks. No way this little runt was going to beat him to the punch a second time... or a third, depending on him you kept the count.
His energy flared up as Saiba-Ban leaped back towards him in an attempt to counter-attack, but it was too little too late, as Arzhael's sword was already swelling with power. A large grin appeared on his face as he prepared to raise his sword in an uppercut-like fashion towards this annoying bug.
'' Hakai Release...''
His power rose to ever greater heights as he grabbed his sword firmly, his energy swirling around it menacingly in its new dark red color.
'' CALIBUR !''
He finally swung his sword upward with a powerful wave of energy washing up behind it. Surely, that would send the creature flying, and he was certainly not gonna let him out of his sight, so he prepared to jump to the air as soon as he confirmed his attack hit.
Using Hakai Release: Calibur with Demonic Might and Transformation Boost For a total of 33,000 damage coming for Saiba-Ban !
Saiba-Ban stared out as Arzhael seemed to have even more in the tank. He had his energy to spare. A really powerful attack was incoming he bet. He came rushing in but it was too late. He was too slow to stop what was coming. He could see it was one of the moves he did before but this time it was on a much bigger scale. Arzhael had increased his power big time for this one. "Oh No!" Saiba-Ban really had no way to dodge this. He was in a super bad spot. He might actually die right here! Saiba-Ban guarded raising his arms to try to defend himself. But the slash came flying through cutting him through the chest. Blood flew from his mouth as he was sent flying back and landing hard on the ground. His eyes were glazed over as he impacted the dirt.
'Dammit guess this is the end of the road'
Fuck that! Saiba-Ban opened back up as he laid in the dirt. Fuck dying to this guy! Saiba-Ban pulled on the strength he didn't know and courage he never had to now. He stood back upholding the previous injury he had just sustained from Arzhael. He was not just gonna go out like that. He was going to make this demon eat his words. And more importantly, he was going to survive! No way he let himself get killed like this! Saiba-Ban grinned, "What's wrong...that the best you got." Saiba-Ban grinned through the pain. Even if he was bluffing most of it. But now it was to prove it was not all bluff. Saiba-Ban would kick forward one arm over his wound. "Don't think you got this in the bag. I can still fight back." He swung his arm covering his wound out to blind the demon with his own acidic blood. Then he'd come to barrage him with a series of claw strikes to try to knock the demon flat on his ass!
The demon was certain that this time, the creature would take some real damage from this attack. Not only was he now transformed, but even better, the alien seemed to have also reached the limit of his defensive capacity with this final move. Arzhael could feel it in his veins, he felt that Saiba-Ban's last resort was gone, all that remained was his spirit to be broken, and that wouldn't be too hard. The view of the creature's blood, as well as the sound of his 'oh no' spoken right before the impact, came with incredible satisfaction to the swordsman as he watched his opponent take the full power of his attack.
Now floating in mid-air, with his sword still held firmly with both hands. But, for the first time in this fight, the look of the demon shifted to something that his opponent might recognize as... respect.
'' Still on your feet uh? I wouldn't have guessed. You really have loads of untapped potential.''
His way of speaking to him has shifted slightly, to fit with the look he just gave him. As he leaped back to counter-attack, there was nothing Arzhael could really do but just avoid the acidic blood before getting slashed lightly over his armor. The metal thing held up, but the openings in a few blades were leaking a bit of blood, and Saiba-Ban managed to get a good scratch on his face as well.
After the barrage was over, the demon would stare down once again at the creature.
'' Now that you mention it, no, it was not the best I got... I'm still trying to enjoy this fight, after all.''
He would say, although that was a total lie. He had thrown everything he had in that last attack, there was quite literally nothing more he could do to make it stronger.
Saiba-Ban launched forward and clawed into Arzhael with these attacks. But it was not enough to stop the creature made sense. It was nothing compared to the attacks that Arzhael was throwing out. He was able to cut through some of the armor and even slash his face. But he needed to keep going, he had to keep fighting. This guy would eventually go down to these strikes if he kept going. Saiba-Ban didn't even talk as Arzhael noted he was trying to enjoy the fight. He moved forward bursting towards the demon. It didn't matter if he had anything left, Saiba-Ban just had to push forward. He had to break down Arzhael defenses and find some opening. To keep knocking the demon around to eventually find the exact opening he needed to reach out. Saiba-Ban swung his claws forward and pushed forward at the demon warrior. It was another barrage of claws. While he was sure that Arzhael would be able to try to defend himself it would cost him some energy or he'd get hit. Either way, Saiba-Ban had more energy to spare and hopefully, he'd have just enough to finally make a great escape from this battle. "HAHAHA!" His claws burst out to slashing at any angle of the demon's armor just to break it open and knock it down.

Finally, it seemed Saiba-Ban, now that the fight was all but over, found his fighting spirit. Would it not be so late in their battle, he would even have gained Arzhael's respect, but it was too little too late, and as the second wave of attacks came, the demon did not care to counter-attack. The slashes came, hitting the swordsman right and left, drawing blood and pushing him around, but after every single one of them, he got back up, stood straight, and would advance towards his opponent, his aura started to swirl around him once again.
'' Wow, where was this all fight long? You fight now for your life, and I can see a trace of myself in you right now. Bloodlust, the one thing that can fuel every being with the right circumstance. It took almost everything I had, but you finally fucking found it. I'd say a good job, but it's far too late.''
With that said, he would swing his sword back at the saibaman with his strength that had never left. He wanted to finish this RIGHT, no matter how much damage he had to take in the end. Nothing mattered, he had won, and he would have plenty of it to recover after that.
'' Common, is that all you got in the end? FIGHT MORE! Struggle with every last breath you have! Take pleasure in it, reveal your true self! Throw everything at me!''
Taunting him, yeah, that was the smart thing to do in that instance, right?
Taking damage from Claw Barrage(8,000) for another 32%
Saiba-Ban was able to keep going slashing the Swordsman with each slash. He was opening up on the demon but the demon was still standing. He had not moved him in a way to escape. He was still in the same spot. He couldn't escape. This guy was just gonna keep standing in his way. He was throwing everything even the kitchen sink at Arzhael! He had no other attacks to really throw. Arzhael noted that he could see his bloodlust now, he was able to fight. He finally showed that ability to face off with the demon. Maybe that was true but it didn't mean much he was still going to die. But no reason to bitch about it. He'd have to just keep going because eventually, something had to give. Either the demon or him. And he didn't plan to give up.
Saiba-Ban was forced to leap back as Arzhael swung his sword down the blade clipping the side of his face. Saiba-Ban rubbed the wound as blood dripped down. Right now he was taking a moment to break back in. He was tired, he was trying to think of something that he had been missing before. What could he do agiasnt this demon to escape? There had to be something he had not thought of. But as he was thinking of that something did come to him. A sly grin formed on his face, "Alright I think I do have a plan." Saiba-Ban took his stance "Come on let's end this give it your best attack! Unless you scared of getting diced up by me! Huh big guy you can't be too scared of me. But seeing as your not moving forward anymore it seems you realized that now that I'm serious your toast!" All Bullshit. But he just wanted to piss this guy off. This would be his last chance. He had to take it!

At the moment Arzhael believed he would begin to respect Saiba-Ban, when the creature was going all out, throwing care to hell and just attacking him relentlessly... he stopped. The demon has braced for an attack that never came, as his foe stepped back and began to recover from this part of him. Disappointment washed over the swordsman as he sighed. All there was left to do was finishing him, how sad, and he was actually getting damaged before that point. A real shame it was, he almost got a real fight in the end but turns out the saibaman had to be a letdown one last time.
The pitiful attempts at taunting were... well, at least he tried. The demon, without a word, would drag his sword on the ground, advancing still towards the dead creature that was still talking shit to him to the very end.
'' I'm afraid you've already seen my strongest move, runt. I can give you a second serving soon enough if that's how you want to go. But I'm not known for my patience, so keep me entertained.''
He would say with a dry and firm voice as he swung his sword at his foe again. His moves were like a whirlwind, spinning on himself and trying to slice up his opponent with wide, powerful swings at each passage, while offering a decent defense.
Seems that didn't work. Arzhael had a level head but that was ok. It was only a part of the plan. He could still gather his energy which was he needed. Still, this seemed to hold Arzhael off from using his most devastating attacks. But at the same time, Arzhael was probably gathering his own energy. But he just needed to survive for long enough. If he could do all of that then his chance to escape would come! He watched the demon drag the sword forward and swing it forth with great speed and power. He had to dodge each blow as best as he could but even with that, each blow would niche him cutting more flesh off and causing more blood to pool. Even with his heart and his courage he couldn't stop the blood lust. The dodges got slower and slower until eventually he was just forced to guard against the swing using what ki he could to harden his skin against the blows that came raining down. Even then he was still being cut and bloodied. But he still had to push forward. He moves agiasnt the slashes keeping his guard up as he went to tackle Arzhael and send the demon skidding back to stop his barrage of slashes. He take whatever injury he had to take in order to survive!

It was good to see that Saiba-Ban was still fighting for his life. At first, when he started dodging all around, Arzhael believed it was the end, that his opponent, after failing his bluff and not getting what he wanted from him, would just drop entirely. Instead, he was pleasantly surprised to see that the creature still had some fight in it. The demon had to keep what created him alive, after all, so inciting bloodlust in an adversary was just what he did best. His tackle was pretty efficient as stopping the demon in its track while he was leading, although the lack of anything else following that, coupled with the fact that Arzhael's energy had fully replenished finally, would prove that it was a mistake.
'' Well, it comes to this again. Will you do better against my technique than last time, I wonder. I won't have to wait long for an answer though.''
Saying this, he brought his sword in front of him, both hands firmly on the grip, as it began to gather energy for what the demon assumed would be his final attack.
'' Hakai Release... Calibur.''
He muttered, more to himself at that point. The saibaman had surely heard it enough already. A blade of dark energy formed around the original one from the sword, and he would use it to slash Saiba-Ban. A horizontal movement, sending a crescent-shaped blade of pure demonic energy towards his opponent.
'' Game over, runt. Take solace in the thought that you fought well, for someone so outclassed.''
Arzhael using Transformation Boost! Total PL: 30,000 for a turn.
Using Hakai Release: Calibur with Demonic Might once again, for a total of 33,000 worth of power coming for Saiba-Ban!
Saiba-Ban launched forward towards the demon as he could sense Arzhael's strength increase. He had to go this was his last chance. He knew Arzhael was going to use his strongest attack again. Or at least he was pretty sure both of them had been trying to regain energy. Saiba-Ban launched forward as the slash came flying at him. Saiba-Ban allowed his power to surge forward as he put everything he had into matching this slash. He increased his own power to his maximum limit and the strength of his attack to the limit as well. All of this together would produce the strongest blow he could at the current time. Even that was not enough. Saiba-Ban was sent rocketing back from the slash blood flying from his mouth. He knew he was going to blackout soon. This was so bad. Saiba-Ban crashed into some rubble slamming down hard and fast to create a plume of smoke.
He could barely even think in the rubble after impacting. He was barely alive. He was so close to dying to this freak! He didn't have any more energy to fight him. He didn't have a chance at all. All he could do was run away. Saiba-Ban pushed himself out of the rubble barely standing his claws damaged bloody, his face twisted in pain, and the blood drained from all the cuts from his body. He raised his arm weakly. He formed a ball of ki in his hand slowly raising the ball of energy into the air. He trusted it forward the beam sailing towards Arzhael but it would not make it to him. It would explode in front of the demon to create another smokescreen of sorts to blind him. Saiba-Ban then turned and booked it running with all the strength his legs could carry him to try to escape the demon!

Saiba-Ban rushes forward with his claws slashing into a foe with a quick but deadly barrage of swipes. (+3 Power)
Despite the full effort of Saiba-Ban to counter with his own might, such an effort that Arzhael was even surprised at how much he managed to take from his attack before it hit him, the demon's opponent seemed like he was on his last leg. He could still be sensed and was not mortally wounded if he got to some healing station fast enough, even after multiple uses of his ultimate attack. This meant a lot of things for the swordsman; first, he had not been strong enough to kill someone who was considered by its own mind to be weak, which was something to be said about the current state of the mortal world. Second, this creature, while claiming otherwise, was a formidable fighter. Even outmatched, without much training or tools to fight, it lashed out at him with impressive strength. Everything about Saiba-Ban seemed to check out for Arzhael, and even before the ki-blasts he desperately tried to throw his way to distract him had lifted that smoke cloud, the demon would turn his back and start walking back towards the village.
This one might not know it, but I think I might have awoken something in them. Hopefully, we see each other again, and I get to harvest some of that investment. The strong survive Saiba-Ban, and you've earned your extra time... for now.
Arzhael would think for himself before he crossed the limit of the village once more. There were still those in charge of security he had not dealt with, but it seemed the saibaman had given them enough time to call for help. Now, there was lowkey a small army there.
'' Hmmf... Another day then.''
He would say, turning back from the city, flying at high speed in the opposite direction he saw Ban going.
